Visiting friends in Austin, they told me my trip wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Buc-ee’s. Naturally, I asked them to describe it. Their explanation? “It’s a BIG gas station that sells EVERYTHING.” And if I was lucky, I might even see Buc-ee in the flesh. Lmao. I’m always down to try something new, so off we went. To say I was overwhelmed is an understatement. First of all, this is not just a gas station it’s a full-blown destination! Lol. I’ve never seen so many gas pumps in my life! Then you walk inside and it’s absolute sensory overload in the best way possible. There’s a whole brisket situation happening, fresh-made tortillas, a gazillion candies and snacks, fresh fudge, corn pops, an entire wall of jerky, and yes… a Buc-ee’s clothing line. Ahahahhaha. Hoodies, pajamas, mugs, seriously, the beaver is everywhere!!! This place is massive! Like Costco massive. Lol. But the true star of the show was the Buc-ee mascot himself because I was lucky enough to meet him and get a photo-op. Iconic! That alone made the stop worth it! I walked out with several snacks and zero regrets. If you’re visiting Texas for the first time, it’s a must-stop experience. I was genuinely entertained which is not a feeling I normally associate with walking into a regular gas station in California. Lol.

I try to visit every Buc-ee’s I can, and the Bastrop location did not disappoint! I stopped in while training at nearby Bastrop State Park. It’s always amazing to see the huge selection of food and gifts. I had a short lunch break, so the quick service was a lifesaver. I grabbed a big brisket sandwich and the brisket Mac & Cheese bowl—both were fantastic. The store looked great and, as expected, the restrooms were spotless. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back for lunch for the rest of my trip!

I loved getting to visit Buc-ee's so much! It's a Texas classic. The bathrooms and store are clean and well-stocked and I was excited at the large selection. There was a variety of Buc-ee's branded items as well. The only reason that I took a star off is because the staff weren't the most friendly, to be honest. Also, I did see flies near the bakery while ordering :(.

My daughters and I really enjoyed this Buc-ee’s location. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter was ecstatic to meet “the real live Buc-ee!”

Unbelievably clean . Huge toilets. Great service from Glenna in the bakery. Extra service from Addy and Jovanny at checkout. A great experience to see Buc-ees as we are tourists driving through Texas.

Well, this time I went on vacation for a few days, and while passing through the village, I came across this excellent gas station. I loved it; it's not just a simple gas station, it's a huge store with tons of items, clothing, food, and camping gear. Not only that, but fresh food prepared on the spot with beautiful displays. In my case, I preferred to see a salad that was delicious. I loved it; all the food was super fresh and delicious. It was truly an excellent experience, where we were able to rest for about 30 minutes and have a really nice time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Disneyland of gas stations! ⛽🐿️ This is hands down the largest gas station I’ve ever set foot in. I swear there must be 100 pumps out there. Inside, it’s like a convenience store on steroids, rows of snacks, drinks, BBQ, home goods, and souvenirs as far as the eye can see. I couldn’t resist grabbing a few Buc-ee’s souvenirs (the beaver made me do it), and that brisket sandwich… wow. One bite and I was hooked, ended up grabbing a second because self-control simply didn’t exist in that moment. Clean, friendly, and totally over-the-top in the best way Buc-ee’s isn’t just a pit stop, it’s a road trip experience.

Good location, conveniently located off the freeway. A good selection of snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. Not the friendliest location I've been to.

If you haven't ever been to Buc-ee's you haven't lived! It's a must stop by when you are visiting Texas! Plenty of Clean bathrooms. Gifts. Merch. Coffee and drinks. Beef jerky heaven and snack galore. Dessert bakery. A special buc-ee's items. Ice fill up is super reasonable. Gas. And not just an ordinary gas station. Hippo taco is a must try! Everything you want in a breakfast taco: beans cheese soft fluffy eggs bacon and sausage! 5/5 Chicken sandwich: 5/5 beats Chick-fil-A by a large margin! Thick chicken breast bread crispy sandwhich with their in house sauce! A must grab if you love chicken sandwhich Brisket sandwich: 3/5 you get by with this bbq brisket sandwich! Not bad just not the best I've had. Beats most brisket sandwich Turkey pork sausage brisket sandwich: 4/5 stuffed and pretty delicious! Nice texture frol the sausage and it's a stacked bbq sandwich! Candied pecans: 5/5 Beaver cheesy jalapeño nuggets: 5/5! Cheesy and a hint of spicy cheese puffs! So good Kolache: jalapeño cheese sausage 4/5! Not the best I've had but ranks 3rd! Thick sausage and a nice chew bounce! Melted cheese and they reheat it for you if you ask. Slushie and fountain drinks: did you know you can bring your own cup containers to fill instead of using the cups they have? There's so much bucee offers and our family is a fan! It's always kept clean and the staff is super nice. Do we recommend Buc-ee's? Yes! It's a Texas stample! Any road trip where there's a bucee on the way.. that's our our pit stop!

It's been 6 years since I've visited - still amazing! While not as big as the one in Temple, this location is clean and organized with friendly staff. I specifically came to try the chopped brisket sandwich - 10/10. This was super delicious! I was too busy enjoying it and forgot to take a picture. Guess I'll have to come back and get another one!

Always a good time at Buc-ee's! This one especially is one of my favorite Buc-ee's to stop at because they have the most delicious steak burritos and the glazed pecans always hit! The place is always clean and the restrooms are ALWAYS ALWAYS on point with cleanliness. They're busy AF at this one but of course, it's Buc-ee's and it's a great stop in Texas.

A wonderful first visit. Many employees walking around but no one really talks to you which I like. I feel like a lot of the foods are overpriced for the branding. Bathrooms were nice and clean for a bathroom/convenience store. Enjoyed the warm sweet cashews and beaver nuggets. Sour belts are more sour than other sour belts I've tried which I love.

One of better Buccees locations for your road trip between Houston and Austin. Just outside Austin so we typically refuel the car and fill up on snacks on our way to Houston. Pair this location with the Katy Buccees from Houston on the way to Austin. The Giddings Buccees is more centrally located but it's tiny so you don t get the full experience. This is a nice large location with a number of pumps and a wide variety of food inside. The brisket sandwich is always a solid choice. A number of icee flavors for the hot weather.

*WARNING* I'm beyond disappointed. We bought a locket necklace for my daughter at Buc-ee's and discovered it was broken minutes later, still in the original packaging. We immediately returned to the same cashier, who called over the night manager, Mary Ann. Mary Ann made me walk back to my car for the receipt--completely pointless--then refused to exchange or refund the item, claiming it wasn't "resaleable." Are you kidding me? The locket was broken when sold! Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and a total waste of our time. What happened to "the customer is always right" and Texas hospitality? Buc-ee's makes plenty of money, yet they couldn't replace a $15 item for a little kid. Absolutely ridiculous. This was not just disappointing--it was insulting. I can't believe a company like Buc-ee's treats paying customers this way.

Another great Buc-ees. I've been to 3 so far and this Buc is the one I stop at going to Houston. Always consistent in what is available. Always a huge amount of gas pumps so no one should be waiting . And of course rated the cleanest bathrooms

This is probably the Bucees I've visited the most, and I love it!! Food is always so good, snacks are always amazing, bathroom is always clean and available, and gas is always cheap. Special shoutout to the beaver tots and white cheddar beaver nuggets!

Easy in and out. Clean store & restrooms. Staff welcome's you in. Lots of snacks for all dietary restrictions. Egg brisket taco was all grizzly not meaty.

24/7/365 so whenever you want to stop by, you can. I got to enjoy my late night adventure with my favorite person on a mission to Buc-ee's to grab some Huckleberry Jam and other goodies too. The Buc-ee's team is exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful! The place is extraordinarily clean too, especially the restrooms; surprisingly pleasant. Now I understand the Buc-ee's experience and why so many love them.

Love the Buc-ee's. Gas , brisket , drinks, ice shirts , so much and too much to list . There must be 50 gas pumps. This is Texas.

I am from California, and when I first heard about Buc-ee's, I had a hard time wrapping my head around the concept of it being a gas station and convenience store. This place is like the Disneyland of all convenience stores!! The place is the CLEANEST any place could possibly be (even the bathroom was hands down the best public restroom I have ever been in ANYWHERE). I took a video to show how large it is, how clean it is, and what you don't see is that each stall is like its own private room with two hand sanitizers in each one. Everything is organized and labeled, and I think I could get lost shopping in here. We stopped to use the restroom, but I couldn't avoid snagging a brisket breakfast taco and some sweet tea before leaving. It was absolutely delicious. The tortillas from the factory are so fresh! I am just amazed at this place, and wish we could have spent more time here, but I will now always search for one of these when traveling!!

I guess as Bucees attempts to promote themselves as a bbq destination, the rest of their menu is falling to the wayside. I have been to this Bucees location probably more than any other (if not the one in Lying) and expected to order a burrito via kiosk only to find the kiosks are gone. Disappoint. However, fuel prices remain fair and the bathrooms are still clean, so worth a stop.

Buc-ee's is the ultimate road trip stop. Like the saying about Texas, everything's bigger here. Buc-ee's does a great job building anticipation with teaser billboards long before the exit to their location. Got some gas (not for commercial trucks though), used their bragged about clean bathrooms, and shopped for souvenirs. Sadly, our time was limited so I wasn't able to buy food or snacks, but I browsed the huge Buc-ee's clothing and merchandise section. I saw a long case of jerky, and in the middle of the food section, hot sandwiches, including brisket naturally, If you're lucky you'll meet Buc-ee walking around the store. At the very least you can take a photo with the metal statue outside or in this store, the indoor trucks with Buc-ee dolls in the open bed truck. They sell other items you'd shop for at a mass merchandise store like housewares, books, Prices tend to run high but food ones are more reasonable. Employees get paid well here, as noted on the hiring signs, with benefits. Too bad the girl who rang me up, Stephanie, was rude and condescending. They don't have a website or answer phones (!) and I don't know when I'll next be at a Buc-ee's but I follow them on social media and live vicariously through the fan posts.

I was just at Buccees in Hillsdale Tx, when I met the manager Sean. I had my 2 small Pups in tow and he grilled me about their status. I had no problem leaving- so he lost my sale but he was over the top rude. My husband went to take his picture ( I as already outside with the little offenders ) and he threatened to have my husband ARRESTED if he took a picture. Wow! I wasn't aware that taking a photo was illegal in a public setting!!

I'll never have a bad thing to say about Buc-ee's. This is a smaller location than most but they have all the staples you expect on a visit. Staff is as friendly and helpful as we've come to expect.

This place has to be smallest Buc-ees in the world with all the big ones that they are now building. I usually pass this one up because it's so hard to get to when you're headed east. However, on the way back, we went ahead and pulled in and I got a big piece of jerky, a small cup of cheese and a fountain drink of Dr Pepper zero.

Buc-ee's is a no a place to visit in and of itself. The number of visitors that come and all but one have asked to go to Buc-ee's. Since the Bastrop location is the closest one to Austin, I've become pretty familiar with this one but they're all pretty much the same: a bunch of gas pumps, huge shop that's roughly divided in half where it's snacks and other rest stop staples and the other half is Buc-ee's and other Americana. Somewhere in there will be a photo op with the man(?) himself and a wide selection of jerky, fudge and a breakfast taco if you make it in time. I even end up getting stuff to send out to people who have heard of the Buc but never had the opportunity to experience it themselves.

Stopped for a quick gas refuel and bathroom break, left with great food and feeling refreshed! The bathrooms were spotless and I loved the atmosphere! The lady handing out samples was so nice as well! Made me feel like it was Costco or something. And to top it off when I heard, "BRISKET ON THE BOARDDDD", I just knew I had to get some food for me and my friends!

You can't go wrong with bucees, no matter where you go the workers are so nice and kind, always greeting you and lovely. The nuts and jerky are amazing and this time I also got a bean breakfast burrito and that was surprisingly very yummy. Don't forget to get beaver nuggets while you're there to complete the experience! 10/10 each time!

The keys is always clean and the employees are always welcoming. Even late at night I can drop in to buy a sandwich or dessert. Or get gas. They also have beautiful gifts for any occasion and season. I love Buc-ee's and I am glad they are in my small town of Bastrop

LOL A major assault on my senses LOL I've never seen anything like this and I was bummed that we ate before coming here because the food looked awesome. Clean bathrooms and just an amazing place to make a pit stop while traveling. My Texas fam made it a point to bring me here and it was most appreciated.

Great spot for breaks and snacks when you're traveling through the area. Clean and well-organized location. Service is quick and friendly.

Always clean and nice. Weekends they have the costume of Bucees. Slurpees are priced for families with many kids to get a treat every now and then. I wish they had cheaper options of their hot food especially for homeschooled kids. Always packed for a reason, because they have it all.

What's a road trip without a Buc-ee's stop? It was a Sunday, so I knew it would be busy. They always greet you when you walk in which is a nice touch. The bathrooms are always clean and the lines move fast. I grabbed a coffee, a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and some water for my doggo. I hopped back in the car and shared the breakfast biscuit with my BFF. The breakfast sandwich was top notch. The biscuit was flaky and buttery. The eggs were light and fluffy. I was pleasantly surprised! My doggo loved it too. Everyone loves Buc-ee's and you will too!

I've been traveling a bit and stop by here often. I'll grab their protein boxes that they have for snacks in the car and I'll either grab their brisket sandwiches and or their biscuit and egg sandwiches. Those are delicious! The workers are friendly and courteous and always happy to help. The vibe in here is always electric. Everyone is always excited and happy. I've been lucky enough a few times to catch Buc-ee!

It's a great place to take a bit of restroom break and SNACK time etc! Enjoyed my visit here! :)

Best thing whenever I drive by Bastrop!!! Huge place and yes, with clean bathrooms. Plenty of things to shop for when you're here. I do want to highlight their jerky. They have fresh and package options with wide range of flavor selections. My favorite would be Mesquite (more basic and dryer) and Korean BBQ (has sesame seeds, sweeter and softer). They offer samples as well so if you want to try, please ask. Kolaches are great as well for a snack on the rode. One thing I don't really like is they don't display gas prices . I do want to know if I'm getting cheaper or more expensive gas.

After hearing so much about this darn joint, I felt like it would be a disservice to myself if I didn't drive an HOUR from my airbnb to get here. I came with a friend, and there was a great deal of people here, from locals to tourists. It's exactly what I expected, and I was still blown away. The store itself was massive, and we walked around for probably 15 minutes before we could even decide what to buy or eat. We heard fresh brisket come out twice, and that was crazy. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits there, and I was surprised that there were so many...bathrooms! The cleanest in Texas, as advertised. After making our rounds up and down the aisles, we settled on some brisket, a philly cheesesteak burrito, some fresh chips, and beaver nuggets, naturally. Everything was so great! The brisket was...way better than gas station brisket has any right being. The burrito was just cheese, meat, and peppers. I feel like that's really hard to argue with. Chips were hot and crunchy, and the beaver nuggets were sweet and salty too. I wish we had these where I'm from. I'll be back for you, Buc-ee's.

Probably my most frequented Buc-ee's location. Never not busy here and they keep the foot traffic moving to a manageable level through organization and communication between employees. The bathrooms are always clean and spacious, and there's almost never a line to get to a stall. If there is, the line moves quickly, and it's a much better experience than any other gas station stop. Love the merchandising layouts at this location always. The art selection on the bathroom entrance walls at this location is constantly changing but always stunning. All in all the Bastrop Buc-ee's has never disappointed me over the years.

Absolutely perfect placement! This is my go to spot for snacks, souvenirs and potty stops between College Station and the Austin Airport. Hot tip. Please for the love of everything, do not try to turn left when leaving the parking lot!! Use the back drive that takes you to the stoplight.

Ummmmm, amazing. A MUST stop whether you're a Texas native or visiting. Very well-organized, cute kids section (I got an armadillo keychain!), bumper stickers & coasters, clothing items for men kids and women's, cookbooks, these amaaaaazing glazed nut varieties that are vegan, extra large icee cups but the bottoms fit in the car cup holder so super convenient :) extensive liquor section & lots of food available. Also is a gas station so there are more gas pumps than I've ever seen.

There's one thing I can say and that's that Buc-ee's is one of the most amazing gas stations ever!! I don't care what the location is! It's like a theme park foe gas stations! The service is phenomenal, the food is amazing! The apparel is always a must! And the overall selection of Buc-ee's products are amazing!!! The gas is cheap, the products are great, and the experience is worth the drive! If you've never been to Buc-ee's then you are missing out!!! You need to come ASAP!!!!

Epic gas station experience everyone needs to do!!!! 52,000 sq ft building w everything your heart could desire haha! Cabellas/ lovers cheap gas station combined plus so much freshly made in front of you food, fudge and packaged or deli style jerky!!! The employees were soooo friendly!!

Always a win to see that beaver's bust in the distance when you're on a road trip. This "gas pro shop" can't be topped for both you and your vehicle's fuel needs.

The only gas station, shopping-mall experience all packed into one - BUCEE'S. This place is freakin incredible. I'm sure it gets old over time but since there's not one in Florida, every Texas trip has to have a Bucees in there. This must be for Texans what the beach is like for Floridians, lmao. Everything is great here.

Buc-ee's just knows how to do roadtrip gas stations right! Gas, snacks, food, swag and clean plentiful bathroom stalls. Whatever you need they probably have it! Oh if you have an EV you have options to waste time Inside as you wait for your car to slowly charge back up!

Love this Buccees in Bastrop! Never a long line, tons of gas pumps so never a wait, huge variety of food and snacks. Plus they have a barrel of buzz balls sitting right inside the store at the south entrance!

Buc-ee's is everything you've heard and more. Grab some Beaver Nuggets and a large Diet Coke and you'll be full of energy by the time you make it to Lake LBJ.

a regular stop for me between San Antonio and College Station. Always busy and crowded but usually no wait to checkout. place is kept clean and maintained. I usually get a coffee refill. recommend using the side parking lot exits for easy departure.

Texas icon for rest stop. I know I know .Everyone loves this place for their huge array of snack items and clean restrooms . Really? Should it take 30 min to get in and out for gas and bathroom break and the 15 min to wait to leave the parking area .

Buc-ee's. As if that's not enough!! Candy, walls and aisles and aisles of candy!!! And if you can't find the Beaver, you can always find one of the Beaver employees that are smiling and willing to help you!

Buc-ee's refuses exchange even though policy is followed exactly because they deleted the item out of the system in 18 days since purchase . She knows I'm following policy but still refuses. The other manager told me when I came in to go find something to exchange it for. What a complete sham no changing rooms to try things on and refusal to exchange in a very reasonable amount of time. What a scam! Same brand, size, location, new with tags! Bastrop Buc-ee's you are ripping people off who are purchasing items in support of your business... DO BETTER!

A frequent shopper when in the area of a Buckee's. Purchased multiple items on Sunday, among them two cinnamon rolls. They were dry and very little flavor. Unfortunately didn't know until back home- 1 hour away. Returned them on Thursday when next back in the area. Spoke to night manager Marianne (1st 2 couldn't make a decision). She saw the date, knew I didn't live nearby for quicker return and refused to compensate in anyway. We are only talking $6.00- I tried to email/call corporate however they is no contact information on corporate or store websites. Tried to call store say of purchase to explain back out Thursday and could return then. So for a piddly purchase, I no longer have desire to shop here, a bummer because I like their gifts. Way to go Mary Ann, had you at least been friendly-I wouldn't have a second bad taste

You can never go wrong with a stop at bucees! You name it they got it ! They're super clean always. And they're so fast when making the food or checking out at the cash register. Any bucees will not disappoint!

This is the 2nd location I've ever been to. It is smaller compared to Luling. Bastrop was a great experience. Service was excellent priced were cheaper than Luling.
