Stopped for a glass of wine and quick bite to eat. Very warm welcome from staff, good information and knowledge about the wine, and generally a lovely place to sit with the hustle and bustle of people coming and going, trying and buying different wines, etc. Glad I happened upon it and hope to revisit in the future. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy wine and learning more about it!

Wonderful place for hard to find Italian wines (for bottle purchase) or to have a glass or two there, along with some lovely food.

5 Stars/5 Stars Buccone is an absolute gem in the heart of Rome! The drinks were incredible, and the food was amazing, but the service truly made this place stand out. Ask for Silvia—she took such great care of us that we ended up coming back two nights in a row. Silvia handpicked perfect glasses of wine for us, and every single one was a hit! We tried 3 whites and 3 reds, paired with an incredible meat and cheese platter. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the location couldn’t be better—right next to the Spanish Steps and all the major shops. If you’re looking for an unforgettable wine bar experience in Rome, Buccone is it. 10/10, highly recommend! This captures the essence of your experience while keeping it engaging for others considering a visit!

We visited this wine bar 3 times. There is selected of the most high quality Italian wines by glass which is not common thing. The owner is a walking encyclopedia of Italian wines with endless knowledge on grapes and wine regions. I very enjoyed his explanations. This place is a must for every advanced wine lovers.

Authentic Roman good. Small and delicious menu. The vast choice of wine is overwhelming and you can ask a friendly staff for the best wine to pair with your food. Atmosphere very pleasant and welcoming. I will go back every time I m in Rome.

A fantastic place for wine lovers! We were looking for a nice place with some nibbles and great wines and this definitely was IT! We received a fantastic recommendation from the seniore in charge for a delicious Brunello di Montalcino and got some food on the side (so delicious that I forgot to take pictures!). All very reasonably priced for the quality, service and location. The waiter was super nice (even suggesting to go off-menu if we were going to get a bottle anyway) and taking fantastic care of us. If you are a wine lover in Rome you simply cannot miss this place!!

A super delightful wine bar. A huge selection of wines and drinks. A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, with knowledgeable and passionate staff. An excellent way to finish a day or to start an evening. We have visited on a number of occasions, and continue to have it as a must-go address.
