Buchan Guest House

Great stay for 2 nights. Good location close to town and off road parking. Lovely welcoming hosts, George and Elena. Great provision for gluten free in room and at breakfast. Lots of breakfast choices and serve yourself cereals/juice. They understand Coeliac condition and the need for no cross contamination - they had a toaster specifically for gluten free, separate toast racks, butter and jam in individual packs. Lovely comfortable super king bed. Will definitely stay again. Also good GF choices for evening meals at Claudio's Italian and The Famous Star Inn (Ally's Restaurant upstairs).

We had such a lovely stay over the weekend! The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even surprising us with a thoughtful little birthday gift — such a kind gesture!|The breakfast was delicious, and our room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. Stayed in room 5 and this place is immaculate. Fantastic bed, room and hosts. Unfortunately had to leave before breakfast but George was such a superstar with the help he offered and the takeaway breakfast he provided which was delicious. The lounge is outstanding with the use of albums, huge tv, games and lots of extra tea, coffee etc which was so useful and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Short walk into town and very useful information booklet. We will be back for a longer visit next time.

Dropped lucky fining this place, I had a double room with en-suite. On arrival the host's were fantastic and welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic quality and served to out personal preferences, there is a great guest lounge which worked well for our group to meet in before heading out. The bed in my room was super comfy as were the pillows, I had all the usual tea and coffee making things and appreciated the larger towels (not standard in a lot of places). George offered us secure parking for the bikes but mine was fine on the street, the accommodation was just a short walk to the center of Moffat. We had a great visit and will be back!

Stopped here for two nights in room 1. It is a ground floor room with en-suite shower which is well appointed and has all that is needed. ||There is a spacious dining room for breakfasts which are hearty and well done. On the first floor is a spacious lounge with TV, music and various games. ||The hosts George and Elena are friendly, welcoming and make you welcome.

The most welcoming B&B I have stayed at. On arrival I was greeted by the owners who kindly let me stow my bike away, The breakfast was top notch and the owners were lovely. The rooms were spotless. |The local area has plenty to offer the passer by or anyone wishing to stay a bit longer

Beautiful Victorian Guesthouse that has been tastefully decorated. Central location, very convenient for motorway. ||Luxurious, well stocked bedroom with a large lounge area with TV, boardgames etc||Hearty breakfast and very friendly, helpful proprietors.||Strongly recommend

An absolutely stunning house. Clean and warm. Perfect hosts, thank you George and Elena for going over the top to make sure we had all we needed and give us information on the local area and walks.|The room was spot on!! Warm and very comfortable and clean, all we needed. And the breakfast was just the job!! Especially the porridge 😋..
