Tracy and the rest of the Bucket List Tours employees were amazing and so considerate! We booked with her company last minute and she accommodated us without hesitation. I really appreciated this because it was the end of the us the season and there was potential for some amazing lights that night, which we saw! I was able to take some amazing pictures because she provided tripods, slippers to wear in the cabin when we needed to warm up our feed, and hot beverages. On top of all that, her fish chowder and bannock were absolutely delicious. She is an amazing host and tour guide.

Tracy is the best!! Highly recommend this experience if you are coming to Yellowknife. Tracy's cabin is beautiful, nice location and away from the city lights so you will see the northern lights for sure if the skies are clear. And inside the cabin is a nice homely experience waiting for you. Tracy is very thoughtful and aware about her guests' needs, she has phone chargers, warm shoes for everyone, some traditional northern clothes and attires for you to take pictures with, she cooks a delicious fish chowder and bannock bread which fits perfectly in that cold temperature. She has accomodations for people who can't eat fish, she will offer other kind of soup. She tells you stories, her own life experiences and share all the knowledge she has with you. It felt like talking with a mother or a friend when being with her. Her staff member Sim is also equally wonderful, does his job so well!! If everyone wants to stay more, she is more than excited to stay back and see more northern lights, unlike some other tours that follow a strict schedule no matter what. We also did a city tour with her the next day and same thing- very thoughtful, she brought us cookies and muffins for us on the bus, again very knowledgeable and did not skip anything in the city. Will definitely come back for this experience!!

I can’t recommend this tour enough. Tracy and her team were truly wonderful hosts, they go above and beyond in making sure you have a fantastic evening. The cabin that is your base for the evening is bright, warm and cozy inside, a welcome reprieve from the cold. There are board games available to pass the time, vintage furs to wear to keep warm (and to take photos in!) and we were fed a delicious evening snack of freshly baked bannock, jam, and chowder. There are tripods available for everyone to use when the lights came out, and we even got to stay a bit later than the tour end time since the Aurora decided to make a late appearance the night we were out.

I truly recommend this tour. Tracy made our nights special. Not only the spectacular Aurora viewing, the cabin was so lovely and comforting. She is an amazing host and a great cook too. My family loved her soup and bread. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 6 yrs), and took the tours 2 nights. My kids enjoyed seeing the aurora outside and staying in the cabin too. They were never bored, and had a great time. The cabin is in a quiet hidden spot with a big yard in the forest, perfect place to look up at the night sky. Tracy and the team are kind and caring. They are experienced, and tell us when and where to see. They were also flexible to adjust plans depending on the sky and guests. We had fabulous nights.

My sisters and I had an amazing time at the cozy cabin with Tracy and Sim. A perfect night accompanied by homemade soup and bannock in a warm and comfy hut. Tracy has done a wonderful job creating a homey atmosphere with a personal touch. This is an excellent spot for photographs with a 360 degree view of the sky and a lot of space for everyone to spread out and get the perfect shot. There is also a teepee that makes for a great photo op. Sim took many amazing pictures of both me and my sisters and shared them with us before the end of the night free of charge. We were lucky enough to see the aurora here, but we would have also been happy and satisfied just spending time in the cabin, which embodies “cozy”. You can tell that Tracy has put a lot of thought and care into this experience, supplying various teas, hot chocolate, snacks and postcards and magnets to take home. There were a variety of fur and Aboriginal coats to wear both inside and out. She was also very insightful and knowledgeable about Yellowknife, and had many stories to share. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Tracy’s cozy cabin. Even if you don’t see the northern lights, it is an experience to remember!

I wish I could give this six stars. Tracy is so warm and welcoming and has gone out of her way to turn her customers into friends. The shuttle was comfortable and took about ten minutes to get to her cabin. The cabin was genuinely so cozy and Tracy kept us entertained with stories and truly delicious soup and bannock and smores! Unfortunately it was a cloudy night, so we didn’t see the aurora, but I was so grateful to have booked this tour because we had so much fun that it didn’t feel like a waste of money or time, which I might have felt on a different tour. I really appreciated the clean outhouse too! We had so much fun we joined Tracy on her city tour the next day!
