Bucket List Tour

My husband and I went on an Aurora night tour with Bucket List Tours, and Tracy is truly one of the kindest, most hardworking people you’ll ever meet. Even though we didn’t get to see the Aurora, we have absolutely no regrets because the experience itself was so special. We spent the evening around a bonfire, making s’mores, and listening to meaningful stories about Indigenous culture, which made the night unforgettable. Tracy and her wonderful team went above and beyond by preparing freshly baked bannock bread and soup for us, and she even shared the recipe with everyone. We met such amazing people and felt so welcomed throughout the tour. I would highly recommend this touring company to anyone visiting Yellowknife. Because of experiences like this and people like Tracy and her team, I would love to come back. 100 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🙂

Excellent tour and amazing host, Tracy. Her attention to details, kindness and hospitality made the tour the best of all Aurora tours. We stationed in her cozy cabin which was super warm and toasty and only when the Aurora was out we would step out. She and her driver took a lot of pictures of everyone and shared them for no extra charges. While waiting she baked us her family special bannock bread and fish chowder - tea, hot chocolate. There were also tripods, tradition outfits if you want to play dress up, wood fire oven, and slippers to keep your feet warm. We got lucky and saw a great show despite clouds at the beginning - as she said don’t give up. She took the time to chat with everyone and was also a great source of knowledge. I highly recommended her tour. You will feel like visiting a family, there is lots of care she put in and everything you need to stay warm and comfortable to have a great viewing. She accommodated our special request to be picked up, responded quickly and she dropped us off at Airbnb and made sure we got in safe. Thanks, Tracy!

Our time with Bucket List Tours was honestly so special. We did the city tour and the cozy cabin aurora tour and it just felt so personal and real. Tracy is the owner and she is such an amazing person who truly cares about everyone. She is so knowledgeable about the area and you can tell she really loves what she does. We also had Yumi who is an incredible Korean guide and she was so kind and helpful. She knows so much about the aurora and the land and she made the whole night so easy for us. The lights were beautiful but what I loved most was the feeling of being welcomed like family. Tracy made us fresh bannock bread and fish chowder that was so warm and comforting after being out in the cold. It really felt like sitting in a friends home. That soup and the kindness and knowledge of both Tracy and Yumi is something I will never forget. It was such a heartfelt experience and I am so glad we chose them for our trip.

It was an amazing experience. The chowder and bannock were so yummy, and they even allowed us to rent a tripod and fur for free 🤩 Tracy created a great environment for guests to talk with each other. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the cabin. There were many things to do even when we didn’t have aurora activity, but we were lucky enough to see the aurora dancing as well ♥️ Highly recommended! Tracy’s tour of the city and her Cozy Cabin were really great! She was very informative and knowledgeable. The visit to her rustic cozy cabin was like a visit to a kindly aunt’s cabin where she cooks a hot meal for you and has great stories and travel advice!

Not only did we get an incredible chance to see the Aurora, but we were also treated to the best whitefish chowder paired with warm bannock bread—comforting, delicious, and perfect for a cold night. Tracy was very kind and did her best to help us see as many spots as possible. Although we couldn’t spot any bison, we were impressed by her effort to even use a drone to try to find them. Thanks to her, the whole tour was comfortable and enjoyable, and we are truly grateful. It was also fascinating to hear that many Korean celebrities had visited Tracy’s lodge. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful memory!

We had a wonderful experience, our host cooked an amazing chowder with bannock. Very cozy cabin with beautiful tp on site. She taught us alot about yellowknife.
