We went for my birthday dinner - our first time there. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Our server, Oscar, was attentive, nice and made our evening enjoyable. We would have loved to dine on the patio but unfortunately it was storming and wasn’t possible. We will definitely be back!

Buckeye Lake Winery is a hidden gem off of the I-70. We were on a road trip and wanted to stop for lunch. Little did we know that we’d find a place with good food, excellent service, and tranquil views. What enticed us was the $5 wine flight. However, our server, Oscar, described the food in such an enticing way that we couldn’t leave without trying some. He explained that there was a new chef who proudly only used fresh ingredients. He recommended the handmade cheese curds and Winery Burger. Neither disappointed. Not to mention, the view was so relaxing and complemented by a diverse range of music. People pulled up to the winery on their boats. You can walk out on the dock and see fish swimming about. Oscar graciously described the many offerings of the area, such as the fishing opportunities and nearby Fairfield Beach. He made us feel very welcome! Honestly, he provided the best service I’ve received in a long time. He checked in but not too much, made recommendations but not in a pushy way. I haven’t written a review in a while, but this experience called for it.

I enjoyed my visit here as I passed through Ohio. It is off the beaten path though. If you live close by I know you enjoy it. Service good and they are pet friendly.

We celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary with lunch outside on the patio. The weather was perfect, the food delicious, and our waiter, Oscar, was outstanding.

My friends and I spent an afternoon here for lunch and cocktails. The server couldn't remember who ordered which dish. She came back to our table multiple times to confirm our orders. The food and drinks were mediocre. Once finished we gave the server our credit cards to pay. She screwed up our bills, not once, but three times. The manager came and nonchalantly and unapologetically tried to help. Some credit cards were charged twice, some weren't charged at all. We spent 45 minutes waiting for the confusion to be cleared. The manager offered no apology, no free dessert, no discount, absolutely nothing for putting customers through this train wreck of a lunch.

We absolutely LOVE Buckeye Lake Winery! Great wine, drinks, food, music, service, staff, docks, and owner! Corben waits on us all the time and he’s such an awesome kid, I’d claim him as my own! Thanks Buckeye Lake Winery for always showing us a stellar time with our friends and family!

Google
This review is specifically based off our experiences having a wedding there. The wedding planner, Barb, was really great and so sweet and responsive. She got back to us really quickly and was so nice and helpful for all the questions and requests that we asked for. If I was just rating her services, I would give her 5 stars. However, we apparently had our wedding right in the middle of a management change and there were some major issues with the food on the actual wedding day. We paid for a taste testing and everything and ordered specific food items, and nobody communicated or informed us of a chef change. We were served food that was COMPLETELY different than what we tasted at the food testing. The chicken didn’t taste the same, the mashed potato’s were SO nasty, and there weren’t even the same food items, dressing/sauce, or anything. The chicken served at the tasting was so delicious and then what was served at the wedding was super dry and gross and was served with sides that we had never even seen before. Even the kids chicken tasted gross and stale. When we brought this to the managers attention, she didn’t offer any compensation just apologized and said that there was a chef change. I wasn’t asking for it to be free or anything but at the very least they could have refunded the taste testing or offered us a free meal or SOMETHING. It was honestly kind of upsetting that on my wedding day the dinner that was supposed to be served was completely wrong and gross and nothing was done—especially when spending thousands of dollars on this food. Other than the food issue, however, it was a really beautiful wedding and we had a great time and a great experience with all the workers. The red wine slushies were also really good!!

Was there on a Tuesday afternoon at 4:00. We had brought our dog with us knowing we can sit outside, so when we got there we simply walked along the outside of the building to the back patio and sat at a table. I retrieved a water bowl for my dog and had a nice conversation with the bartender. Once going back outside, we sat for 15 minutes with zero service. Mind you there were four seated tables at the time (including my table). During this 15 minutes the waiter had walked past our table many times to serve the table DIRECTLY behind us. After the waiter had taken their order and collected their menus, I decided it was time to leave when he once again walked past us without saying a word. A simple “I’ll be with you in a moment” would have kept me there.

Yelp
Super cute location. Close your eyes and you're in the Keys. Good wine. Good food. I will return post-bike ride again.

Yelp
The food at BLYC is like having a schizophrenic uncle. Every time we visit, it's a new chef, a different menu, and new weird nuances to the food. Granted, most people come here to drink by the lake, and the view is gorgeous. But OMG, could the owners please taste the food coming out of their kitchen...?!? Last night we dined on the patio lakeside. Beautiful night. Very nice servers. But - yet again - a new chef and new menu. Nothing was bad. But nothing was seasoned sufficiently. We ordered the weekly special of Texas Steak Chili. It was featured prominently on the sign board at the check-in stand. Sounded good. It came out as chicken and gnocchi soup. Mentioned it to the server. Oops, it just says "soup of the day" on the Toast ordering unit, and Texas Steak Chili was last week. Management will take it off the signboard. And we ordered 3 Twice Baked Potatoes. When they came out, they were plain baked potatoes with butter and salt. We mentioned this to both the server and the food runner. This isn't a twice baked potato. "Yes it is, we baked it twice." Where I come from a twice baked potato is baked, then you scoop the middle out, mash with cheese and sour cream and seasoning, and bake it a second time to brown the cheese. Nope, none of that here. These were $8.00 each for a baked potato with butter and a little salt. But hey, apparently they took last night's leftover baked potatoes and baked them again tonight and sold them. Ugh. Could we have a little sour cream? No, I'm sorry, we don't have any sour cream. Are you F'ing kidding me...?!? You're charging $8 bucks for a baked potato and don't even have sour cream? Again, nothing was bad. The server was legitimately embarrassed at the mistakes the kitchen was making. And the view was stunning. But the food absolutely disappointed. That's no problem, though, because I'm sure next time we go they will have a different chef, a new menu, and other weird nuances to the food. Oh, and the listing for last week's "Texas Steak Chili" on the chalk signboard - it was still on there when we were leaving... :-(

Yelp
Used to be much better food. Egg plant was awful! Brussel sprouts not near as good as before. Doubt we'll be back!

Kevin C.

Yelp
This was our third time trying. Service is horrible. If they have a manager overseeing the wait staff he should be fired. I truly was embarrassed for our waitress. Food was very good. The location is incredible. I do wish them luck and a future.

Yelp
First time I've ever wrote a bad review, so sorry in advance. Made a reservation, came 10 min early and were told we can't be sat until our reservation time. That's fine no big deal even though there were plenty of empty seats. It's 10 Min, i can wait. Then we got seated. Sat for 25 min and not one person came over. Went to the hostess, told them no one has been over, still no one came. At that point we just got up and left. Sure seems like it's very unorganized. Food might be good, wouldn't know.

Yelp
Just home from a full day at the lake with friends, which began with a birthday brunch for eleven at Buckeye Lake Winery. We sat outside under the large tent where we could enjoy the beautiful weather and awesome waterside scenery. Our group had a variety of beverages and entrees from the weekend brunch menu and everything was delivered timely and perfectly prepared. Our server, Susie, was magnificent!!! Not only was she attentive, but she was also so personable and fun! She kept us all laughing! Overall, an exceptional experience from start to finish! Thanks BLW and Susie - well done!!

Yelp
We used to love this place!! It's a bit of a drive, so it was always a treat to make our way here. We haven't been in a couple of years, so we were excited to head that way last night with friends. First, when we used to go on a Friday night, it would be packed, so we wanted a reservation. We went on their website that morning and got a reservation, no problem. Which in the past would never have happened...we were surprised, but happy to get that table reserved. When we arrived, there were not many cars in the lot. Ok, it was 5:15, we were early. Barely anybody was seated on the patio (maybe 2 other tables?). We looked at the menu and were shocked by the prices. Let's be honest, their wine was never 'good' (at least the red), but you went for the ambiance and the prices were reasonable. Well, now the cheapest bottle of red is $47! For $47, I expect the wine to be decent, however their wine is not. I am happy with a $25 barely drinkable bottle or a $50 decent bottle. But a $50 barely drinkable bottle is not for me. The food is also very overpriced. I got a chicken sandwich, for $24 and an extra $2 for fries in place of chips. If you go, do no upgrade for the fries! They were tiny and hard, reminded me of the little fries you can buy in a can in the grocery store. The chips were pretty good (my hubby and our friends got those). My Nashville hot chicken sandwich was good, but small (very thin chicken!). My friend got the winery burger and she said it was really good. My hubby and other friend got the chicken melt. They both said it tasted weird and was very gristly and tough. Our bill was $110 (before tip) for two chicken sandwiches, one with chips and the other with fries, and one bottle of wine. (Our friends' was about the same). Just extremely overpriced. Service was fine. The girl waiting on us was fine, she kept our waters filled, which I was grateful for because it was a warm night. Oh, and we used to love to finish our wine in the Adirondack chairs that used to be scattered along the water line and looked out at the water. Those are no longer there. We left around 7:20pm and the patio was not even 1/2 full (and there was live music). Now I know why it wasn't busy. Just too expensive for the quality, we won't be back.

Yelp
Love coming here! Such a pretty spot with lovely staff and consistently delicious food! Wine hasn't really been our favorite unfortunately, weird since it is a winery. Maybe we will come back and try just the wine at one sitting and see if we can find something that pleases the palate. We're not big wine snobs but it's just odd that I've heard from others the same thing. Having experienced Sonoma and Napa as well as Paso Robles wine country if you put the word "winery" in your brand then make it as delicious as the food has always been. Ambiance and service is always top shelf! Will be back no doubt

Ice M.

Yelp
It's fairly easy to find expensive wine in Napa Ohio yet quite difficult to find truly rotten wine. Buckeye Lake Winery has the dubious distinction of being both expensive & rotten. So typical & so disappointing. To top it off, these muppets don't waive a tasting fee even if you get conned into purchasing two bottles.

Trish L.

Yelp
This was my first time here. The service was great. The host stand has the most polite girls and the server for my table was so friendly, even after I asked a million questions. We sat outside and I had the tropical slushee. The slushee was exactly what I was looking for.. not too sweet, but definitely refreshing. My friend got a wine flight and she loved it. The view of the lake is great, but the bees were UNREAL! We had at least 10 at our table until we had to move inside.

Lizzy R.

Yelp
After getting on the wait list for dinner, 30 minute later they notified us their kitchen was backed up and it would be another hour before we could be seated. How incredibly disappointing. I don't think we will try to go back again.

Yelp
Max was great . Views are spectacular for Ohio . Wine is better than most Ohio wineries . Food and service was fantastic . I believe people don't know how to use the rating system on Yelp or google .. if the service and food is fantastic .. that's a 5 star .. not 4 .. all of you need to work for a small business and realize how a 4 star affects a business that you said was fantastic .. think about your review before you leave it . Mom and pop places built this nation . Fig and Gorgonzola flat bread was amazing . Highly recommend buckeye lake winery

Yelp
I've been to this winery on multiple times. I remember years ago when it just opened up and I stopped for a wine tasting and purchased a few bottles of wine. We stopped on a day that it was a white out in Ohio. The place was beautiful as it was covered in snow. We arrived and was seated by a kind and very friendly waitress. We ordered something to eat, shared our food and enjoyed a glass of wine. I had a Cab and she had the Riesling. The wines were good. We purchased 3 wines. I like the wine here. They obtain their wine from California and parts of Ohio.

Ken G.

Yelp
Awful service. Sat down and waited 30 minutes to get a glass of ice water!! Waited 1 1/2 HOURS to get our food. When the food came it was not great. Sandwich was dry as dust. Burger was missing the bacon jam. I ordered a beer and it never came. I had to go inside to the bar and get a beer myself and pay separately. I reminded the server that he never brought me my beer and he promptly came back with it shortly before we left. Ambiance is great but the food and service are very poor. There are better places to spend your money.

Terry L.

Yelp
Went there today for lunch and asked twice if we could get a table in the shade but was told no because the way they divided the tables for their servicer however there was only 5 tables been used at the time we was there. Tried to get chicken salad with our salad and was told they couldn't do that either. Also no wine slushy today? Probably won't take friends back. Spent 150.00 to sit in the sun. No Thank You.

Angie T.

Yelp
Service....horrible. 25 minutes to get a fruit plate. No refills on alcoholic drinks. Almost 45 minutes for our entrees which were cold when we got them. If you come here bring a snack to tide you over during all the waiting

Victoria W.

Yelp
Worst Wine Tasting experience..ever! The lady serving was nasty and unpleasant. She made the wine tasting experience a horrible one. I was hoping to leave with a couple of bottles, but the wine was sour/spoild and tasted like alcohol mixed with sweetener. Typically, the atmosphere makes up for the wine, but even that wasn't worth the stop. The building was cold, the fake fireplace and why was the fireplace on in July?. Couldn't finish the wine served, just left. Never again
google avatar

Yelp
On point tonight! Everything we had was delicious. Highlights would be the Chips app and the Fig flatbread. Fish and chips, green beans and cocktails, excellent as well. Wait time was as expected and our server was perfect, attentive, punctual and kind!! Our #1 spot going forward.
google avatar

Yelp
We got a Groupon deal for a wine tasting. Barb walked us through an hour and a half tasting of nine wines. We had such a wonderful time!! We were in a personal secluded room, just our crew, with generous pours and good conversation! We have been here many times for wonderful visits, but this tasting was so personalized and fun. Barb is very educated on the wines and history of Buckeye Lake Winery and the owners. Highly recommend! Thank you Barb!

Yelp
Came here for dinner recently and it was my first time at Buckeye Lake Winery. The place is very cute and sits right on the lake. We had outdoor seating with a great view! Our server was very friendly and got everything out in a timely manner even though they were busy. I split a charcuterie board and had the blackened chicken Mac and cheese. Both were very yummy. The menu says the Mac is white cheddar but it was not. Oh well, still good. Knocked a star off because they don't have any sweet wines that I like such as moscato. Everything seemed to be dry wines which I do not enjoy. Luckily they had white claws and tequila!

Yelp
We visited Buckeye Lake Winery on 8/18/19 to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. I'd known about this place for a while, but never made it out here until now because it's an hour drive one-way from my house in Upper Arlington. I'd also incorrectly assumed that they serve wine made from Ohio grapes. I love Ohio but we're not really known for making good grapes for wine... so I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival to learn that they source most of their grapes from California. So this isn't really a winery serving Ohio-grown wine. (although they did have 1 white wine that's sourced from Ohio) It's a Napa Valley style winery experience located in Central Ohio. The venue is located right on the edge of the water at Buckeye Lake with a nice view and boat access. Great place to hang out, enjoy some food and drinks, and relax. We brought our own kayaks and got to go on the water for a bit after our meal. The wines are pretty solid, and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed their cabernet sauvignon and red zinfandel. Although we didn't get to take advantage of it, they sometimes offer Groupons for wine flights that will make the experience an even better value. Our server and the bartenders that I later interacted with were all very nice, and their service were all on point. The only thing that's preventing me from giving a 5-star review is that the quality of their food is inconsistent. I ordered the winery burger, which was good. Everyone else in our party seemed to enjoy their foods as well. But my wife ordered the sausage risotto, which was easily the worst risotto I've ever had at a restaurant. Gordon Ramsey would call it "ghastly." The rice wasn't seasoned well and it was completely mushy. It basically tasted like overcooked plain Minute Rice with sauteed sausage & peppers on top. So in conclusion, I'll most likely be back again... but definitely would not order the risotto!

Yelp
My partner and I visited on a whim this past weekend when the weather was gorgeous. We drove to Buckeye Lake and found ourselves at this winery. From what I saw, Buckeye Lake Winery is the nicest place near Buckeye Lake. Beautiful interior, good view of the lake, and nice ambiance. I ordered the Lake Water, and my partner got a glass of Zinfandel. Despite having an unappealing name, Lake Water was a light, crisp, and refreshing white wine. The Zinfandel was sweet and sippable. We also ordered a fig and Gorgonzola flatbread that was quite tasty! I felt a bit rushed by the waitress and hostess who wanted to box up our food while we still had wine in our glasses, but otherwise the service was prompt and good.
google avatar

Debbi W.

Yelp
This winery is in a beautiful location on the lake...the ambiance was wonderful. My cousin and I both ordered wine flights. My cousin really enjoyed the flavors, me, not as much. Their wines are all on the dry side, which really isn't my favorite. We ordered a side of Brussel Sprouts, which turned out to be the best I've ever tasted. They are fried and coated with a wine reduction. Mmmmm. The people there are really nice. If you like dry wines, you will love it here.

Rachel B.

Yelp
I rarely write reviews, but I hope to save someone some money and disappointment with this place. Pros: nice ambiance at the lake Cons: Mediocre food (at best) and terrible service overall. Service at the bar and from the wait staff was pretty bad. The whole place seemed very hectic and poorly managed all evening. After grabbing a couple of seats at the bar while we waited for our table, and after waiting for a good 20 minutes to put in a drink order, the bartender finally looked at us and then instructed us to go to the outside bar if we wanted service anytime soon "because we're swamped in here". She then just turned away and proceeded to serve a group at the bar that arrived after us. I have no idea what that was all about, as we'd had no exchange with the bar staff up to that point. Once outside, we were told they were out of the wine slushy that we had planned to order at the inside bar (which, of course, they had had plenty of during the 20 minutes we sat there waiting to place our order to no avail). Once we got seated at our table, the gnats were truley flying all over the place under the umbrella, and it was so loud that we couldn't even talk to each other. The whole meal was this way. The waitress was nice enough, but you could tell she was overwhelmed. Not her fault -- just poor management. When the food finally came, it was delivered in stages to each of the four people seated at our table about 5-10 minutes apart from one another, so we were unable to eat at the same time (awkward). The food quality really was pretty poor, especially considering the high prices we paid. My lobster ravioli was okay, but it just seemed like frozen ravioli heated up with an odd yellow cheese sauce on it -- pretty basic. It was edible, but definitely not worth $32 price tag. My friends's meal was by far the worst. She ordered dill chicken with sweet potato fries and broccoli. The chicken was so tough she could barely cut into it (no exaggeration), the "fries" were literally just chunks of undercooked sweet potatoes -- hard in the middle and in no way resembling fries (frozen would've been better), and the broccoli was cold. It was also pricey, around $30. The only meal that was decent was the flat bread. So if you go here, I'd recommend sticking to something pretty basic like that. $100 later per couple, we all wished we'd just gone to Bojangles! It's sad because the place has potential given the location, but I definitely don't plan on dining here again.

Thomas H.

Yelp
Went to website. It said they were open. Called the number and told the woman who answered we would be in this evening. She said we didn't need a reservation. Arrived to find it closed.

Megan B.

Yelp
Food is poor quality and over priced. Don't waste your time and go to another establishment around the lake.
google avatar

Lori T.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere with a beautiful view of the lake. They have a nice menu with unique selections, everything we ordered was delicious. They have a friendly, fantastic staff. Their wines are delicious but they also have a nice bar.

Yelp
First off I made a reservation over 2 weeks ago and was given the option of indoor seating, I chose this specifically because we were spending time with family that we hardly see and wanted to be able to converse without a loud band playing. When we arrived we were sat outside right in front of the stage. When I looked later I saw no indoor seating option. Things seemed to be fine until it was time to order. Service was very slow and once the band started playing we were unable to talk to each other pretty much all together. The food was decent but again not being able to talk to one another was frustrating. My biggest issue was with the bill, my husband paid in cash and instead of asking if he needed change the waitress took it and never came back, she got 20 percent plus an extra $20. It was shocking she just assumed she got it all. We waited a while and decided to just leave because we were just over it. This has been our third time to the winery and it's never a good experience so we will most likely never go back.
google avatar

Wayne G.

Yelp
Arrived at 2:00pm and hostess said a 30 minute wait for a table. Brunch ends at 2:30 and found out only half the menu is available until 3:15pm. We should have been told about the menu when we arrived, otherwise, it's nearly 2-hours after arrival before any food you want arrives. This is our 2nd time here and there probably won't be a 3rd visit.
google avatar

Dean W.

Yelp
Cool venue, with nice docking and plenty of outside seating. The winery itself is modern and nicely done. Having one barmaid on a holiday weekend, and no cocktail servers tending to the guests outside, was not good management. The female bartender on duty did a great job, but way too busy for just her. The charcuterie platter was nicely done, didn't try any other foods. The chardonnay was OK, all other drinks we had were cocktails.

Angela A.

Yelp
Great lakes view with dockage, wine selection is nice, but if dining stick to the flat breads. Salad was basic romaine and chef special was dry unseasoned salmon and disrespectfully over-priced. Service is pretty good.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Nisha was awesome for wine tasting. Waited an hour for dinner with only appetizer only was served. Manager was just combative when the issues were brought to her attention. Do NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! they are so poorly run they should not be in business.
google avatar

Suzy F.

Yelp
This is truly the perfect location for social drinks and music on the water. The sunset views can take your breath away. I have been here many, many times and there has never been a tainted experience. We decided to stop in last weekend as a group, on kayaks, and was taken back from the raw and captivating talent of the local artist performing (shout out to Rese Jhordan!). We were then greeted with some of the best hospitality I've had from a general manager, and not to mention, was literally given the shirt off his back. (My sincerest gratitude to Ted Atwell!!) If you haven't been - please go - you will not be disappointed. Great atmosphere for a night of relaxing into the beauty of Buckeye Lake, with fantastic staff.

Julie V.

Yelp
Love this place, they keep investing and expanding the seating options and menu. Like that you can have a meal and then move around to other outdoor seating options and enjoy some more drinks and make an evening out of it.
google avatar

Steve W.

Yelp
Stopped by to grab a salad for lunch and I was super impressed with the location and staff as well as pricing.

Angie G.

Yelp
Let me say I read all the previous posts and I have never been to Buckeye Lake. Living in Reynoldsburg and previously living in a small town I cannot stress how nice it is to get out of the city and get back to roots. Nothing like being on the water in the middle of Ohio. This place is worth the over priced food and wine just for what it is. Stop and look at the peaceful place that you can't get in the city. It's worth every cent, and people like Sky make this world a better place. Sky makes this place. So friendly. Felt like home. The food is great and the wine is amazing for Ohio and people like Sky are one in a million. If you can't love this place, you can't love what's great about the heart of Ohio! God bless Ohio!

J M.

Yelp
The food was better than i expected. Salads were good and pizza was pretty good too. Nothing great but definitely good enough to bring me back. Our server, Melissa, was fantastic. Very polite, attentive and professional. Outside seating was nice and sunny. Boats and boaters were cool.

Yelp
Wagyu Burger : Topped with carmelaized onions, brown ale beer cheese sauce , cherrywood smoked bacon, lettuce on brioche bun. Delicious Burger

Yelp
My wife and I came out for the Thursday night prime rib. We started with drinks and the fried green beans, which were great. Of course the cab sav was excellent as always. I had the prime rib, which was on point. My wife got the coq au vin, which she hadn't tried at the Winery before, and it was frankly disappointing. It was essentially a very ordinary breaded chicken breast topped with a little sauce, which is not at all the rich and hearty chicken stew that a coq au vin should be. I checked the menu to perhaps see if we had misunderstood some twist on this classic dish. With all the other great dishes on the menu, the owners really should consider doing this dish justice or dropping it.

Yelp
We loved the location and the wines! The best part was our wonderful waitress Abby. She was very helpful, attentive and welcoming. I didnt mind the prices at all because the food was worth it. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy the view. The staff works very hard and I was pleased with our service.

Yelp
Awesome place for family gatherings. Great food and WINE ...:) and live music .. Outdoor seating and Great Lake view.

Yelp
Stopped here for appetizers and dessert. We ordered three bottles of wine and we all enjoyed Lake Water. We took a couple of those with us. The fried green been appetizer was great and so was the tiramisu. Beautiful place, and it's probably a great stop in the summer.

Yelp
We live on the lake and have tried the winery twice this year. Terrible both times. They claim to have coq au vin the menu. All I got was a fried chicken breast (that would normally go on a sandwich) with some sauce over it. Service also wasn't great. We had about 3 servers coming to our table and no one seemed to know who officially had our table. The winery has the best sunset view of the lake but the worst food on the lake. It's so sad. I wish Hereinafter, Horvath's, buckeye lake margaritas, or brewery/chef shack had the winery's location. Such a waste.

Yelp
Alright, Buckeye Lake Winery, three strikes, and you're out! My wife and I have been there three times since you opened, and you have failed every time. Your latest failure comes at the hands of your kitchen staff serving me arancini made with old undercooked risotto, the breading was so overcooked it was a crunchy, chewy texture, and to top it all off, the ricotta it was served with had turned sour. Although the putrid abomination masquerading as arancini was removed from our bill, the unappetizing pallor exuded such an offensive flavor of rancid oils and fermented ingredients it left my pallet with an acrid and lingering aftertaste that only time will tell if it will ever cease tormenting me.

Yelp
The winery is easily the best restaurant on Buckeye Lake. With 6 (if I'm counting right) waterfront options to choose from, the winery takes the cake. In the past, I came to the winery for a valentines dinner. It was when they had just opened and it was super underwhelming. However, over the past few years, they have really stepped their game up. The menu offers everything from cheese plates to full course meals. The entrees will run you upwards of $20+. However, the sandwiches and flatbreads are competitive priced when compared to the other restaurants around. On top of that, the winery features very fresh ingredients and dishes that won't leave you feeling all greasy inside. Outside, BLW has a stage for live music and plenty of rock space for boaters. On a nice weekend, it is one of the prettiest places on the lake. My only beef with this restaurant is their lack of beer choices... they only have 3 beers. I realize they are a winery... but I feel that they could grow this list a good bit. Overall, I will definitely be back! P.S. - their burger is phenomenal! Just give it a try... you won't regret it.

Yelp
We had a great 4th of July brunch here today, 7-4-2023. The food (we had Pepperoni Flatbread and French Dip) was delicious!, and the wines were pretty good (we had an "8 tasting"... 4 whites and 4 reds); I also had a very yummy spicy Bloody Mary, and my wife also had a slushy, which was both tasty and helped to cool her down. Service was outstanding; our server was Kierra. Even though they were pretty busy, she kept up very well with the demand. We'll be back here for sure.

Yelp
Great place to have wine and food. Beautiful view. Music on the weekend. A lot of boats on the water taking advantage of the last of nice weather, one of. my favorite places to go , alittle bit of a drive from Powell

Yelp
Buckeye Lake Winery is good for a small town location. It's not the best wine but it's still better than many. The scenery could be the best part. It's right up next to the lake. There's also a series of food trucks. I like coming here when it's summer because that's when you get the best. It has many other businesses collaborations. There's usually food trucks every week. If you want a good view of the lake sit on the patio. The winery is right there. As for the wines there's something for everyone. The reds are my favorite. It's about $18 or so for a bottle. There's a small wine list. It's sad they get most wines from California. The only wine produced on site is the sweet wine. Consider sticking with something to drink. When it comes to the food they make in the restaurant, it's underwhelming and overpriced. Most of the options have some kind of Italian meat. There's very few options for a vegetarian. Among the few is the vegetable sandwich. It's $12 which is crazy for bread with some vegetables. At least they have food trucks with better choices. These are there mostly in the summer. If you're going to the area go to Buckeye Winery. It's a good way to relax. You get a great view of the lake and get something from the food trucks.

Yelp
Lovely place with good food. Service was a little slow. But very nice view of the lake and relaxing. Lake water was the wine we enjoyed. I like sweeter wine and they only have dry but that wine worked out just fine.
