This is our go-to never fail bbq place in Maine. Burnt ends with a loaded tater for the wife, and she was very happy. I had the brisket sandwich with slaw and fries. Hands down, it was the best brisket that I have had anywhere in the last 30 years. Seasoning was perfect along with the smoke and bark, and it was pull-apart tender. There was no need for any sauce. Yes, it was that good, and my compliments to the pitmaster! Service from Lisa was outstanding, and we will be back.

Erica was awesome, you can tell she has been this awhile. Food was outstanding. Big portions, ribs and brisket were very tender, pulled pork was a standout . Very reasonable prices

I'm from the South, food blogger, BBQ LOVER. Often times BBQ joint up North try and copycat Texas or Tennessee and they screw up. This place has not tried to copy anyone and has a taste of its own. I order Brisket burnt ends. In the south we cut them up in small cubes pour them in a pan with sauce and back in the smoker. This was different, two large burnt ends. OMG, they were the bomb diggity.. The baked beans were so yummy full of sweetness. The coleslaw wasn't my cup of tea. The cornbread was really good. By Longshot best BBQ in North East... Staff was amazing and super nice. Felt like I was down home in the South. Very hospitable. Kelly was absolutely amazing.. You can clearly see she loves what's she is doing. Kudos Kelly.

Had to pull off the highway due to a snow storm and found this gem! This BBQ joint is excellent, their dry rub was delicious as well as their homemade BBQ sauces. Be sure to try the blueberry BBQ sauce!

This place is amazing! The food is perfect, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is great. Highly recommend!

Just wanted to get a little food and a drink. Sat at the bar, service was right away. Drinks were outstanding and the food was really good. I got a dreamsicle vodka based drink. Taste just like a dreamsicle ice cream. I also got the brisket burnt ends appetizer. The meat was so tender it was falling apart with a light touch of the knife. Super juicy and moist. Had a nice bbq flavor, not over powering. Came with a dipping sauce, not sure what it was made with, it was good. But I liked the brisket without it.

I have been a regular at Bucks for years, about a year ago new owners took over and sad to say, things have gone down quickly. The food quality is very poor, the smoked meet is dry and over cooked. Service is still good. But this place is no longer a go to for me. Very sad. Ps the catfish does not taste or look like catfish any more. Maybe is farmed, but it’s not good.

In my opinion this is the best BBQ you will find in the state. Serve was great. Food was terrific along with portions. I recommend i this place. Try it and I don't believe you'll be disappointed!
