Buda Castle Fashion Hotel

We had a great time here, the rooms are spacious, quiet and clean. The breakfast is nothing super special but good. The staff is also friendly and helpful. You find yourself in one of the best locations in Budapest here. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay – the staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly. I needed to extend my stay since my flight was at night, and they kindly arranged another room for me, which I truly appreciated. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety to start the day off right. The location is ideal, especially for couples. It’s close to Fisherman’s Bastion and Buda Castle, making it perfect for scenic walks. If you enjoy exploring on foot, you’ll love walking through the nearby hills and soaking in the beautiful views of the Buda side – a great way to spend a romantic date night!

This hotel was absolutely terrific. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and with wonderful decor. The breakfast buffet was very good, with plenty of variety. The location of the hotel is great if like me you want it in a quiet area near the main sights of Buda Castle, such as the Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion. Highly recommend!

We have recently returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at Buda Castle Hotel. The hotel is ideally located in the Castle Hill area, a short walk from the nearest bus stop, restaurants and the Fisherman's Bastion. We had a good sized room and bathroom with quality toiletries and drinks. Despite having a room directly over reception at the front, noise wasn't a problem. We enjoyed a better than average breakfast, based on other European hotels we have stayed at, with a different fruit offering each day. The only minor niggle being that the hot offering was only warm. Service was excellent, with special thanks to the friendly helpful gentleman on reception who let us check in early and immediately provided a replacement hairdryer when the one in the bathroom broke. We definitely reccomend this hotel.

My rating is mainly for the whole of Budapest, the hotel is more of a b&b than a hotel, no bar facilities, no evening meal. Just breakfast. Nothing to moan about though. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning. Not a far walk to town and the bridge. Probably the most beautiful city I've visited. Lovely food, friendly people. Would definitely recommend

A lovely hotel in the beautiful castle district, our room was large with bedroom being on a mezzanine level, would have preferred 1 level but that’s personal preference. Bathroom clean and luckily for us had a bath, again personal preference. The young lady on reception desk was lovely and very helpful, a joy to speak to, the breakfast room staff were not so friendly in fact they never spoke, the coffee machine just needed some more milk but no help given and no response. The breakfast had a superb choice of food but let down by the hot food options being barely warm.|The hotel is a good base to explore the castle area.

This was my fifth time staying at the Buda Castle Hotel over the years and it was a pleasure as always. It was nice to see some upkeep from my last visit, it was nicely maintained. Rooms are very spacious for a boutique hotel in the heart of the castle district, within walking distance of some of the top tourist attractions, and with the bus right there it’s very easy to explore all that Budapest has to offer. Breakfast was always fresh every day; staff were great at making sure the food preparation was perfect. My one slight disappointment was the coffee, I do like a good morning coffee and the automatic machine wasn’t my favorite. House cleaning staff were fantastic, room was always perfect. Now the stars of the hotel, Agi and Szabi! I had the chance to witness them go above and beyond with assisting hotel guests, from recommendations for dinner to sights and just having friendly conversations. These two made everyone's stay better at the hotel, wonderful hosts they were! I will always make the Buda Castle Hotel my home away from home when visiting Budapest

A decent hotel in the buda castle district with a short walk to Fisherman Bastion, Matthias church, restaurants and buses. Breakfast was adequate. Our room was on the first floor and facing the garden so it was quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
