Buda Castle Fashion Hotel

We had an excellent experience staying at the Buda Castle Hotel. It’s situated in the lovely castle district. There’s a handy bus 16 which saves you climbing up the hill. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was big and comfortable. The en-suite was clean and perfectl.|The area was quiet although in a popular area with the Fishermen’s Bastion . |Breakfast was great.cold meats and cheeses. Yogurt and cereal plus cooked eggs and sausages. |Thanks for a lovely stay in lovely Budapest

Imagine staying in a upscale, recently updated manor of a 15th century merchant complete with gracious and attentive waitstaff. The rooms were simple yet ample, well supplied (although the towels could've been thicker). The bathroom is equipped with a bidet which was nice. The shower had one of those half glass walls that make you a little afraid of getting water everywhere but that didn't happen. The walls are thick and provided a quite repast after a day's journey in Buda and neighboring Pest city. The bed was very firm and like many hotels in the area, simply covered by a duvee. The LG Smart TV was easy to use and provided access to many streaming platforms if you wanted. Breakfast was delicious. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. Buda is hilly so there are quite a lot of steps to keep your legs toned.

We had a great time here, the rooms are spacious, quiet and clean. The breakfast is nothing super special but good. The staff is also friendly and helpful. You find yourself in one of the best locations in Budapest here. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend it.

The staff at this hotel were amazing, so helpful in so many ways, arrived early before the check in time, but within 30 mins had prepared our room for us. The beds were clean and comfortable, the shower was quite strong and held a good heat. The only issue was with the fridge which was tiny and the seal was going. The hotel is in the heart of the castle district.It will definitely be my go to hotel in Budapest.

We stayed at this hotel in early August and would happily recommend a stay here.||Friendly helpful staff, lovely room with a generous en-suite in a quiet part of the Buda area.|Breakfast was plentiful and available for most of the morning. |Even though our room was at the front of the hotel, there were no noise issues. ||The hotel is perfectly located for all the attractions in the Castle Hill area and a short walk to a bus stop.

We had a wonderful stay – the staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly. I needed to extend my stay since my flight was at night, and they kindly arranged another room for me, which I truly appreciated. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety to start the day off right. The location is ideal, especially for couples. It’s close to Fisherman’s Bastion and Buda Castle, making it perfect for scenic walks. If you enjoy exploring on foot, you’ll love walking through the nearby hills and soaking in the beautiful views of the Buda side – a great way to spend a romantic date night!

Clean rooms, a quiet place to sleep, can’t fault breakfast. Staff were lovely and we had everything we needed. Marked down because the shower hose wasn’t long enough to use above our heads which was a ridiculous shower in the morning. I also really hate it when the only English language news channel is an American choice - cnn is truly appalling compared to bbc news but I appreciate that’s a personal choice.

This hotel was absolutely terrific. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and with wonderful decor. The breakfast buffet was very good, with plenty of variety. The location of the hotel is great if like me you want it in a quiet area near the main sights of Buda Castle, such as the Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion. Highly recommend!
