Budapest Jazz Club

My favorite place to go when I am in Budapest. There's a concert every night and free jam sessions after the concert which sometimes is better than the concert itself. Great atmosphere, used to be a movie theater when I was a kid.

We had bought tickets on line for a jazz piano event. We were waiting in a table outside the concert hall with a beer. When we went in the hall, we could take with us our drinks. The bad think was for me that plates of food were coming in the hall even during the performance. Otherwise the pianist was ... jazzy mad. Good experience

Fantastic jazz club which is incredibly easy to get to by public transport. Vast drinks menu! Sound is amazing in there as is the atmosphere. A must visit!

The best cozy late-night haunt in the whole city! The live jams each evening make it so so special, the old standards remind me of home.

We had dinner and the food was just ok (we had a cheese burger and chicken wings). The listening room was a nice size, it felt cozy but could still fit quite a few people. The musicians were fantastic! We went for the music so that's the most important part. The venue itself is a bit retro and cool. Nice, helpful staff. Recommend :)

Discovered this unique jazz club while out Geocaching in Budapest today. Unfortunately, we arrived at the club just after it opened, and it was too early in the afternoon for any band to play. However, we did get a chance to speak for a moment with one of the bartenders named Zsolt, who was an absolute pleasure to meet and converse with about the jazz club. We did enjoy our visit and wished we had the time to come back that night. We loved how they decorated the interior of the club, which consists of several sitting areas, one in front and the other towards the back of the club. They even have a shuffleboard table in the front near the bar and a grand piano bar in the back. So, if you like jazz and are in town for a visit, this might be the right place for you. Thanks again, Zsolt, for making our short visit so enjoyable.

Best jazz experience i have had in a while. Atmosphere was amazing gave an oldschool vibe which i enjoyed. The band looked not too unpromising( on stage in plain t shirts) but they were absolutely INCREDIBLE. All solos were very impressive and the way they worked together just seemed to flow.(like good jazz does) My highlight was the drummers solo.
