A superb private museum built in an old winery, which houses various objects, books, sculptures, and paintings from the Far East. A real opportunity to delve deeper into Buddhism.

Spent over 2 hours here today. A very interesting collection and well worth a visit if you are in Traben Trabach. The information is in German but there is a leaflet in English which was very useful. The lady on the desk was extremely helpful.

There's not much else to see in Traben-Trarbach and what on earth is a Buddha museum doing here? The history of how it came about is interesting and although there are 1000s Buddhas, it does get a bit samey.

You need more than one day to discover all details. There are so many Buddha statues from different countries and times made of all kinds of materials and all kinds sizes. I can highly recommend a visit. Unfortunately, no English information and generally limited information on the statues and symbolism—otherwise, a lovely made museum.

This extremely interesting Budda collection museum seems a little out of place in the Mosel Valley of Germany and most people think...huh! I wonder? ...We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here where the staff was very nice, served some great coffee and allows you to pray and meditate as you walk through the museum.
Buddas from all over the world, some very ancient and others symbolic of people in Asian lands from Thailand to China it was fascinating to learn and see all the different Buddas - it may not be on your tour but if you have a bit of time it is unforgettable.
