Budget Hotel Pension Stoi

I really liked it here, the staff are very nice and helpful. The location is a tiny bit out of the main tourist center, but this means it’s nice and quiet (while still walkable), and also quite close to the train station. I had one of the rooms with the shared bathroom, I never ran into any issues with this arrangement, everything was kept very clean. My one negative is that it is a few flights of stairs to walk up, which is very difficult with a large bag. If they offered maybe a luggage area on the ground floor as an alternative I think that could be useful to people. Overall, I would happily stay here again.

This is a very basic hotel. The rooms aren’t pretty! But they are decent if you are just looking for a cost effective and safe place to rest your head for the night. Don’t stay here if you like fine things. Do stay here if you need a budget friendly place that is safe.

Excellent location just a few meters from the station. The reception staff are helpful and friendly. Family room for four worked well. Shared bathroom and shower were both clean. Can recommend this place.

I'd happily return! A comfy room in a great location. Five minutes walk to the train platforms, five minutes walk the other way to the Triumphpforte, the gateway to the old town area. I stayed on the ground floor with a newly renovated separate shower room and toilet shared with one other room. Owners/staff are on site all day.

Handy location. 4 minutes from Central Station. 5 minutes from busy center walking area. Beds were too old and worn out. Hotel was clean.

A good place to stay. Warning: No lifts available. So if you are carrying heavy luggage bags, be ready to carry it to 2-3 floors. A couple of car parkings are available. There is an electric charging point very next to the guest house.

Advertised as a budget stay, but far exceeded our expectations. Room was clean and warm. Excellent mattress. Mini balcony which we used to keep our drinks cold. Really well placed for access into town. Staff welcoming and friendly. Only small negatives; no fridge, not a problem in winter and the walls are thin so you can hear noises. Having said that it did everything we needed it too and had two really good nights sleep.

Perfect location, near city centre. Friendly staff. 4 parking spots. Bit noisy rooms bit still great!
