During my recent trip to Florida, where I visited Disney and various nearby attractions, I chose to stay at this hotel for the second consecutive year. The location is ideal for accessing Disney and a wide array of family-friendly attractions. It's conveniently situated near a premium outlet mall, with a CVS and a 7-Eleven located just across the street. The rooms are impeccably clean, although the breakfast options could use some improvement. However, the on-site pizza restaurant is truly exceptional. The hotel staff provids excellent accommodations, efficient check-in, and outstanding overall service. Both my son and I thoroughly enjoy our stays here and will undoubtedly choose this hotel again for our next visit to Orlando.

We had a fabulous stay here at Buena Vista. We had two suites. They were impeccably clean in the bathrooms and beds. Great price and value, shuttle bus to Disney attractions are free and a quick ride. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is a typical breakfast offer. Check in and check out are super easy and there is an available bistro and pizza place in the building. Parking was plentiful. Coolers in rooms are not refrigerators but will keep your items cool. Ice available. Ubereats delivers and Ubers easy to find.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel with so many positives! It was centrally located and as we hired a car we were able to get to disney parks in about 10 mins max and Universal in about 20 mins. The parking was complimentary just make sure you get a permit from reception to put into your car when parked. The room was spacious - ours had a separate living room area with its own TV and table with chairs. Then the separate toilet/shower and sink/vanity. Finally the bedroom was large with 2 queen beds and TV..view was out onto the road but noise was minimum. We stayed on 6th floor which was great. ||On first day we realised our safe wasn't working properly (buttons wouldnt press and register) but we spoke to reception on our way out to the parks, and by the time we returned that evening it had been fixed! ||Only small downside is pool area is quite small and doesnt have a bar area. You can use hotel next door for these facilities but obviously would be ideal if this hotel had it too but it isnt a major issue! ||Will definitely plan to stay here again!

Buena Vista resort was absolutely amazing for my family of 4. The Buena Vista staff were so nice upon arrival. The rooms were clean and very spacious! My 5 and 7 year old were able to be in the sitting room (the bed pulled out) and my husband and I had the bedroom. The rooms were separated by the restroom. They also have a complimentary breakfast every morning. Also, I have to give a shot out to Mrs.Tammy (Hopefully, I am spelling it right). She was apart of the breakfast crew and so nice and delightful! My son turned 5 and she and the crew sang happy birthday and brought him out a brownie with a candle! I would recommend this hotel 100%

Google
Overall a great hotel in an excellent location. Very clean and tidy. Great staff. Rooms are spacious and housekeeping came in everyday. Only negatives were the limited selection of breakfast choice, the tiny pool (but you can use next door hotel one) and the excessive security deposit required.

For its price point, Buena Vista Suites is one of the best vacation properties to stay at in the Orlando area. ||From check-in until departure, we enjoyed a great stay in |a standard suite, which was perfect for two people. Spotlessly clean, with queen sized twin beds surrounded by the usual amenities - air con, tv, coffee/tea maker, microwave, fridge, safety deposit box, shower/bath as well as a seperate connecting door lounge/sleeping area with additional tv. Ice machines on every floor. ||Public areas of the hotel are very nice, and always well maintained by hotel staff, who are all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Special mention for Tammy and Robert in the restaurant, and Nelson, Carly, and Victoria from the reception team. ||The restaurant serves a good selection of breakfast items, from cereals, fresh fruit, juices, to eggs, sausage, taters, toast, muffins, pancakes, donuts. Again, very clean, efficient, and well run. There is also an on-site convenience store, and pizzeria. ||Pool area is a little small, but adequate, with loungers, parasols, towels. There is also a bigger pool in the sister hotel next door, together with a good selection of bars, restaurants, etc which guests are able to use. ||Overall, an excellent hotel and guest experience. I would highly recommend it to all travellers seeking an enjoyable base in the Orlando area.

Best place to stay. As soon you make the entrance it smells so clean. The staff are great and helpful. Breakfast is good and enough to start the day. Definitely I would come back and stay.

Google
Paola was a blessing. Very polite and nice for check in. This was the most cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at, EVER. This place is wonderful. The bar is set really high. Customer service, food, attitude was perfect! Room was very clean and phenomenal. They surprised me and my family for my son celebrating his birthday. I love that they were very observant, as I did not tell them. But they came out with a brownie cake with a candle on top and it definitely made my son’s visit! Free shuttle service to Disney is awesome!

Yelp
Rooms were clean, shower was a little iffy. The water fall nozzle I guess definitely needs to be soaked in vinegar because there was a lot of bactrwria build up. Couldn't miss it. Staff was very friendly, large breakfast s selection but almost nothing was gluten free so make sure to bring your own snacks. Also WiFi was booty so don't expect much. Other than that it was very close to downtown Disney and easy to get to. The hotel next door has a Starbucks just a heads up

Yelp
Not sure why this place only has 3 stars, we stayed here the weekend of May 9th and it was perfect! The rooms were clean and cleaned daily, there's free shuttles to Disney parks, free parking. My favorite part was the tasty breakfast, it was the best hotel breakfast i've had and they changed it daily. I'd definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I am warning you not to book here but only because of some inconveniences we experienced here. Place is clean and looks nice. We stayed only because our team booked this hotel as the team hotel and my daughter wanted to be with her friends. Room 402 may be the problem. We experienced horrible drainage in our bathroom that made a difference in our stay. The tub doesnt drain so your legs take a bath while you shower. It takes about 20 minutes to drain so the next person has to wait or jump in ankle deep dirty water. Half of the water came out of the tub facet rather than the showerhead which made for a very shallow stream. Also the cleaning scheule for our room was last so its after 3:00 when room service cleans and by then we were always back and trying to rest. This also made us have to hunt down staff in the hallway just to get toilet paper and clean towles. They dont allow you to take breakfast from the buffet in the hotel to your room so we ended up having to Uber food just to eat in our room. One elevator was down the entire time which made waiting to go to your room ridiculous. They did allow for a 12 noon late checkout which we took full advantage of since we had a late flight.

Yelp
Very clean property. I was impressed with how clean the rooms and bathroom were. Housekeeping does a great job cleaning. All throughout the hotel, it smelled so good. All staff were great and helpful with all questions. Victoria checked us in and gave us all the info we needed. We were able to use the Carribe Royale's amenities during our stay and our boys had a great time. We also took advantage of the complimentary late check out. Will definitely recommend a stay at this place and will be back for our next trip!

Yelp
Showed up to get our room the system went down and they ran our card and had a 1,600.00 pending transaction that didn't go through on their side and they wanted us to use a different form a payment once the system is back up in the mean time it's Sunday banks aren't open and so we are out of that money until I can call the bank. The manager didn't help at all and we have now been sitting in the lobby (2 hours) until the system is back up and we can give them more money. Absolutely ridiculous. We are here for a soccer trip and can't believe the customer service has been. I will tell everyone not to stay here due to the financial situation it put us and the total lack of compassion in this situation.

Yelp
This place charged me $99.89 with no reason to my credit card. The charge was posted in my statement the same day. At the front desk (V) was not able to provide me a receipt or a reason for the charge.

Yelp
My friend and I visited Orlando for two days specifically to visit Epcot for the food and wine festival. For an excellent overview of this hotel check out (Penny Lane X review) The hotel was clean and had a heavy scented odor. When you first walk in, you're like ooh it smells good then after while you're like okay its a bit strong, take it off. lol Now the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. They were always speaking and smiling, excellent customer service. The rooms were clean and bright. They had refrigerator and microwave which is perfect for families. The location to Walt Disney was very short. We used the complimentary shuttle to get to Epcot and returned with Uber. The beds were comfortable and we were able to see the fireworks each night from our window on the 6th floor. The complimentary breakfast was bland but my azz still ate it for two days, lol. There was no chef preparing the eggs. They have a small pizza shop on site that we didn't use but we always saw people inside. We had free parking on site and was able to get a spot with no issues. They had a small pool and for the size of the hotel, I was shocked how small the pool area was which is adjacent to the cafeteria. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel if I'm going to WDW.

Yelp
If you ever leave behind an expensive item like headphones, expect to never see them again. They have a website called findmyitem.com where you enter your info. They then reply immediately saying they looked for your item and didn't find it. (with the wrong info btw, they got the hotel wrong and the date I left incorrect) I don't know how you can do any type of valid search in less than 5 minutes. Total ripoff artists! I wish I could get my almost $1000 back for my stay at this below average hotel.

Yelp
Front staff in this hotel is makes everything so much harder than what it should. Book somewhere else. Military should definitely not book here!

Yelp
I did not enjoy my stay. The breakfast was NOT what I seen online. It was long lines and wait for a table one hour into breakfast. They had hard pancakes, wedges that are spicy in case you can't eat spicy, sausage patties and NO BACON. I didn't touch the eggs so I can't vouch for it. We were seated by the garbage... we made the best of it but knew we would need to buy breakfast as this was NOT a help to us as I thought. When I checked in the woman was not very personable. No smile, no greeting, no laugh when we made a little joke so that was uncomfortable. She may need to work behind the scenes bc Miss .. you're customer service skills are nonexistent. parking lol beware you may park far away from the entrance with no space between the cars so beware. if you can pay for a resort please go. this place only cares about getting money.

Yelp
If you don't want to stay on the WDW property, this is a very good alternative. Free parking, free hot breakfast, and free shuttle to WDW (not Universal). Clean rooms. Morning staff were very professional and friendly. The free "shuttle" is actual a motorcoach bus by Mears Transportation. A reservation at the front desk is required. Uber to Universal Studios was about $9, but coming back around park closing was surge pricing of $42. Believe it or not, Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios are about the SAME distance from this hotel. We utilized the free shuttle to the WDW MK park. There are NO Disney buses that run FROM the MK. The rooms are suites with a separate living room area that has a microwave, mini fridge, and sitting areas. This hotel does not accept grocery deliveries, you need to be waiting in the lobby for your delivery...or take an Uber/Lyft to Publix down the street (about $9 each way). There is a CVS across the very busy highway. There is a small pizza bistro on site - open in the evenings. A menu is available to view on their website. The Deluxe Queen (vs Regular Queen) has a fancy walk-in shower and a sink area in the bathroom, plus a separate sink area outside of the bathroom. The Regular Queen has a smaller tub/shower, toilet and the separate sink area. The breakfast buffet was very good. It is one of the better breakfast buffets that I have had offered at a hotel. (Many levels above Hampton Inn quality). You are NOT permitted to take food back to your room, it must be consumed in the dining room. There is a chef available cooking eggs made to order (sunny side up OR over easy). Overall, I would stay here again in the future.

Amy B.

Yelp
Pros - very clean, and I mean super spotless clean - spacious rooms - easy parking - beds were comfortable - Perfect for families with kids because of the separate rooms/suites - wonderful staff and housekeeping Cons -walls are thin - you can hear everything so that's annoying. I had a party next-door to me that was incredibly loud late at night. - I couldn't get the WiFi working on my laptop the entire time I was here. Had to tether it to my phone. - the overbearing smell in the lobby and hallways... Smelled like cleaning solution, very strong smelling. Overall, I would never stay here again because the noise kept me awake and ruined my stay.

Yelp
The woman working their front desk right now (Wednesday, 12:48am) has a serious attitude problem. It shouldn't come up as a surprise to have foreign guests in Orlando inquire about transportation to/from Disney parks. However, it seems like every time someone with an accent or a hard time speaking English asks this woman a question she replies with some sort of distain or unwillingness to help out. If you don't have customer service skills or are not skilled enough to handle some communication barriers you should not work in a hotel in the first place lady.

Yelp
This place is great love it. Quiet safe, great family pool. The price is good and the environment is perfect. We loved the full kitchen and free in room laundry. This is perfect for family.

Yelp
Stayed here for a soccer tournament. Our check-in was easy, we had a nice room on the top floor close to the elevators. Breakfast buffet was really good each day, coffee was pretty horrible but I've noticed that in the Disney areas. The lobby had an overbearing bleachy floral smell, it gave an instant headache if you stayed more than a few minutes. Staff was very nice. This location was easy to get in and out of, there is a back entrance/exit to a side road that runs parallel to the main road. Would stay here again if we needed to. Parking is better behind the building and you can use your key card to get in without walking all the way around.

Yelp
5 stars! Hands down the nicest and attentive staff we have met. The hotel offers free breakfast which was perfect for our group. They offer shuttle service to Disney World and Disney Springs. We used the shuttle service to Disney Springs and it was as so convenient. The restaurant staff were so friendly and welcoming. They offer an excellent breakfast buffet, the staff clean and restock often. Don't forget the mimosas on Sunday. This hotel is at a perfect location, close to all the attractions. Highly recommend.

Javier I.

Yelp
One of my favorite place to stay very clean spotless you always see employees cleaning constantly room smell and looks clean, I have a small complain for my surprise the compliments breakfast they eliminated making egg on request and breakfast warm food did not look good like me I saw people getting away from that area straight to bagel and cereal. I suggest charge a small amount and bring good quality food. I'm pretty sure people will pay it. Me as a Floridian I will. You can keep the concept of free breakfast but for those special request a charge will be applicable. Just saying. I stayed there last weekend and yes will be back by the end of the year and yes I recommend this hotel. I hope they can addressed the breakfast to better quality like I said a small fee for special request will work lime a charm. But who m'i to say.

Yelp
Hotel is nice and new. However, house keeping threw away two of our shoe boxes we store shoes in. Second, the breakfast they offer is DISGUSTING! I wouldn't feed that to anyone!!!!! Literally the lowest quality you could imagine, it's worse than school cafeteria lunch. Pool is embarrassing, very small and unappealing. If you don't eat breakfast there and don't care about the pool than it's an okay stay for somewhere affordable, free parking and no fees!

Yelp
I'm writing this review while currently staying at this property from September 29 - Oct 1st 2023. I just wanted to getaway from Jville FL to relax. Upon arriving at the property the view was nice. The front desk reception was also good. It was until checking in the room 1st floor close to lobby that things quickly shifted. The AC unit wasn't properly working and wouldn't move past 48'. Then a constant banging coming from upstairs that just completely ruined my stay. Multiple calls to the front desk and they claimed no construction was going on. They finally sent representation to my room and immediately he said oh there's flooring install happening above me. He said the front desk should have advised. I'm like are you serious when I've been seeking an understanding. It's now 2:52 p.m. Saturday and my check out is tomorrow morning. No I don't desire at this stage of my stay to move all my things. I won't be staying at this property moving forward and sadly my weekend of peace was ruined! Dwayne Disabled Marine Veteran

Yelp
I needed a hotel in a crunch and needed it close to an event being held down the street at the Marriot World Center. This location popped up and we tried it. We had 4 of us staying in the room. We opted for the double Queen suite. This had 2 queen beds and another room with a pull out couch. 2 tvs in each room, a small fridge, microwave, small table for 2, coffee pot and long counter space near fridge to store all our snack/drinks. The bathroom sink was outside the toilet/shower, not a ton of counter space there, but there are shelves below for more storage. Food: The perk of the pizza joint on location was nice when were returned after 9pm and it was still open, took no more than 10m to have a few pizzas ready to take up to our room. The breakfast bar had many options and filled everyone for the day. The breakfast dining was very clean and bussers were constantly going around tidying up the spaces. The staff was very friendly and helpful; we had to bug them for various little things (we needed extra towels and blankets) but again, they were at our door in 10-15m with whatever we needed. The hotel halls were clean and smelled fresh, not musty or anything. The room and hotel itself was very clean, I'd stay again! Negative: The overwhelming smell of artificial air freshener was my only negative here, it slaps you in the face when you walk in the lobby.

Tom T.

Yelp
The hotel, location, breakfast, and amenities were good overall. Breakfast can be busy, so you'll need some patience. The only bad thing about this place, during our visit (3 nights), was the lack of Internet at night. It was either super slow or no connection at all. Had to do all our Internet tasks in the morning or day. That's not acceptable in this day and age

Yelp
This is our 4th consecutive year here in Orlando for the National High School Cheerleading Championships and every year we've stayed at a different place. Located less than 10 minutes away from Disney World, BVS is prominently found at the corner of World Center Dr and Hwy 535. Directly next door on World Center Dr is their more upscale sister property, the Caribe Royale. BVS is about a 7 story building. I don't know exactly how many rooms, but I do know that if you arrive back around midnight, there will be no parking spaces remaining. So let's try to get more parking spaces BVS. Check-in was a breeze. The receptionist on duty was friendly and got us a room on the second floor. The 2 elevators in the main lobby were fast. I'm sure they have different designs and the room we got had a small "living room" when you first enter, then a short hallway which led to the bedroom with a large king. The living room had a love seat with a pull out bed, a chair, small table, small tv, small fridge and microwave. The bedroom in addition to the king sized bed had a flat screen tv and double door closet. On the far end of the room was a large window that gave us a view of the parking lot. One interesting that was new to me were the 2 built in flexible "reading light" right above each bedside table. I don't know the exact date this hotel began operation, but some places you can tell there have been renovations. One such place is the bathroom. Polished metal, fancy sink, our renovated shower was immaculate and modern. I was even impressed with the sliding door and tile. It made me want to renovate my bathroom at home. Housekeeping did a good job tiding up the room each day. We never tried the pool or the gym, but we certainly tried the included breakfast for 3 mornings. Their breakfast dining room is large and accommodating. There are two hot breakfast lines with scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, waffles, pancakes, grits and even oatmeal. They rotate it so you don't get all of that every morning. One thing you can get every morning is the made to order eggs. Wait, don't get too excited. No omeletes or cheese. Only sunny side up or over easy. So nothing exceptional about breakfast, but still a decent hot breakfast with juices, tea and of course coffee. Another interesting thing is that off the main lobby is a little pizzeria that stays open very late. We tried their pizza and wings one night and it was pretty good. It's a very nice option for guests who want a late night snack without having to drive anywhere. The one last thing I want to address that everyone will remember about this hotel is the "smell". When you first walk into the hotel, it will hit you like a ton of bricks. Don't worry, despite what one reviewer wrote, it's not a "bad" smell, but it is quite strong and noticeable. The closest I can describe it is that it's the original scent of tide laundry detergent. It didn't bother me, but I can see how it could for people with very sensitive noses. Despite that one reviewer's report, the scent was only localized in the lobby area. I did not smell it in the breakfast dining room or our bedroom. I do want to mention that there is a small shopping center directly across the street with a CVS, pizza joint, souvenir shop, indian restaurant and a 7 Eleven with a gas station. We didn't have any problems during our 3 night stay and I wouldn't have any reservations about staying there again. There are nicer places and even worse places, but for the price of about $120 a night that close to Disney, it's not a bad deal. Maybe next time I'll get to try the pool.

Yelp
Booked a weekend for my boyfriends birthday and had to check in at the caribe royale next door. Nobody had communicated to me that we'd be staying in the disgusting caribe royale which is HIGHLY inappropriate considering how old and outdated it is and what I paid for my stay. I am LIVID that these people think they can get away with this scam. I even went home the very next day because I didn't want to stay there anymore. My weekend was ruined and this hotel needs to acknowledge their wrongdoing

Yelp
Great location. Close to Disney World, restaurants, and shopping. Staff was pleasant and parking was plentiful. Room was spacious and breakfast was really good. All you can eat too! If I'm back in Orlando, i won't hesitate to stay here again.

Mike D.

Yelp
Arrived at 12:00 noon with a 4pm check-in time. Fine if the room isn't ready...I'll wait. But when a room IS ready and empty, how DARE you charge me an extra $60 for an "early check-in." Every other hotel I've ever stayed in extends that as a courtesy. Not this place. Also, no on-site restaurants open for lunch. Huh? You've got 3 - how could they all be closed. Don't stay here.

Yelp
The Bad: I came to Orlando for a convention at the Caribe next door and opted for Buena Vista since it was next door and offered free breakfast for the same rate. Insulation was awful. Despite letting them know in advance that I was flying in late and would arrive in the wee morning hours, they placed me in a room right next to a room under construction. And the construction started PROMPTLY at 8am, so sleep was impossible. WHY would you place me right next to a room with loud construction when you know I'll be sleeping during that time? They moved my room, but I noticed the water was also shut off without notice. Communication was terrible when it came to confirming my room. Wrong number on booking site and no one responds to emails. The room I was placed in was outdated, but thankfully they moved me to an updated room...for $600 spent on 4 nights, I expected better. A lot of the hotel is still old and outdated, elevators were very slow moving, especially on the top floors. The breakfast was meh despite the options. Frozen waffles were served and a lot of the things like eggs and bacon seemed to be bought pre-cooked. It served its purpose though. They also only seem to have 1 or 2 people running the front desk at a time...I mean, really? For a hotel this size? I was constantly waiting behind someone. The hallways were always freezing at no more than 60 degrees. On my final night stay, I woke up to the construction again on Monday morning...so I guess it's M-F. I could also hear the people behind me with their kid running around and screaming at 1am. In the morning, I could still hear the loud hammering even though I wasn't next to a room under construction. IF you plan to sleep in past 8am on a weekday, do not stay here! There are better places for the rates they're charging here and you can get a complimentary breakfast with fresher food at a Days Inn or La Quinta. But yeah, I should have just stayed at the Caribe for the prices they charged here. There were no pools or saunas...so why was there a resort fee? It was far from being a resort. There was also an extra charge for the bottled water in the rooms...I mean for the price paid for the room, seriously?! The Good: Buffet breakfast on site that was complimentary. Convenient location to a convention at the Caribe next door and Disney theme parks. They switched my room upon request. Complimentary Wifi and large rooms. Italian bistro on site for lunch or dinner. ATM also on site. Large rooms.

Yelp
So I stayed here for 4 nights for a work conference this past week. It was interesting to say the least. Check in was a breeze! The room was great as far as size and accommodations for the most part. The room smelled like someone had smoked a pack before I came in which actually prompted me to tell the front desk because I didn't want to be charged for smoking in the room. The front desk said they would send someone up with air freshener. I waited for a while about (20 minutes)but no one ever showed. This is when I sat on the bed which was hard as nails. Honestly, I could have laid on the floor. This was my only complaint about the actual room. The bathroom was amazing and you could tell the place was set up for long family stays. I eventually got hungry and decided to walk across the street to CVS (there is no crosswalk anywhere nearby so you have to play frogger). After getting back I got stuck in the elevator for a little over half an hour. The first 10 minutes I think I was in denial that it was actually stuck. After getting out of the elevator I was given $20 gift certificate to the restaurant and a "free pizza" coupon. The breakfast was free and I appreciated it but it wasn't great. A very kid friendly breakfast but I'm sure that's their target market. Other than the hard bed, cigarette smell, and getting stuck in the elevator my stay was great. Dexter (I believe this was the Chefs name), was very helpful and friendly.

Yelp
Loved everything about this hotel. Very clean and great location. Free parking and free shuttle bus to Disney theme parks.

Yelp
This was a fantastic hotel! A few amazing things about the hotel: 1. LOCATION! There's a 7-11 & CVS right across the street. The neighborhood was filled with great restaurants, and it was less than 15 min from the disney Parks. 2. Amazing restaurant in the hotel! (We ordered room service. The chicken Parmesan and lobster ravioli was delicious!) 3. Free Breakfast. Every day there were new things and we loved it. It was a huge variety too, we had zero complaints! 4. Free Parking. 5. Nice pool + Jacuzzi 6. AMAZING bed! It was sooo soft and had extra pillows. Extra sheets were in the closet. Now the reasons i didn't rate it 5 stars... 1. The shower drains are a bit outdated. It takes a while for the water to go down the drain so it creates a puddle. 2. They offer you a 10% discount at their restaurant, but don't tell you it cant be for room service. Charged me an extra $8 for that. 3. They took an extra $40 deposit than they told me they would. Gave it back right after I checked out but still, it's an unforeseen charge. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel for the price I got it at. Definitely coming back. Check out the photos

Yelp
Beautiful setting -accommodations were very nice and comfortable, receptionist at checkin was very helpful and friendly. Vista bistro had wonderfully delicious mussels in marinara sauce! Hot breakfast provided every morning with quite an array to choose from of breakfast items and drink included. Only glitch was boutique--I returned 1 item that was soiled and neither cashier Nor shop manager knew how to do a return and ended up charging me twice for same items and am having to dispute through my bank

Yelp
One star for the decent room, but zero for the service, had to ask 3 times to get my room serviced (even though that should be a standard in every hotel) and end up by the end of the day with still dirty not clean room. Good thing that the front desk guy was able to send me some towels up, lucky me

Yelp
Four nights on a recent stay thanks to a great deal from Hotwire was more than enough. Complaints from the wife and kids immediately upon check-in. Whether it was the lack of parking, the smell of the lobby or the functionality of our suite, I never heard the end of it. Especially at shower time, when it took forever for hot water to make it to room 604. Hotel is a bit outdated. The online photos must be several years old as they do not represent the current condition of Buena Vista Suites. I didn't notice any overall dirt, but the place does have a musty smell to it. Friendly staff and "complementary" breakfast that wasn't anything to write home about. Don't take a piece of fruit to go as staff will stop you and tell advise that food cannot leave the dining hall. Hotel does have an omelette station, along with a tip jar. Scheduled transportation to Walt Disney World, heated swimming pool, whirlpool, exercise room, lighted basketball and tennis courts, along with an in-suite coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave oven and wireless Internet included with the stay. There was a small resort or hotel fee (with prior knowledge from Hotwire) of $11.19 per day. I didn't have a problem with this as I was advised before booking. Self parking was a bit of a hassle, but eventually we found a space upon our various return trips from Disney World or around Orlando. Not a big deal - at least we didn't have to pay a high valet fee. For me, it's a 3 - 3.5 star stay at Buena Vista Suites. A decent experience, but with a bit of polish, it could be so much more. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr. Vero Beach, Florida

Yelp
The beds are horribly uncomfortable and the "air freshener" that is blasted through the vents smells like you've been trapped in a perfumery of dueling grandmas. It's awful, gives me a headache, and you can't escape the smell. I've never experienced such an overpowering smell in my life. It's horrible and can't be healthy.

Yelp
Hotel room was okay for price. In room safe did not work. Nor did the door lock. I had to jigger around with it to make sure the door was actually locked when I left the room. Remote controls for neither TV worked to change channels or volume. I had to use the controls on the TV to operate it. Also, the shower valve seemed to need a washer. I practically needed a wrench to turn it on and shut it all the way off. I was afraid I was going to break the handle off the shower valve trying to turn it on and all the way off. The room was clean, and well made up every day we were their. Housekeeping did a good job.

Yelp
Good hotel for its class. Clean, good hospitality, good free breakfast, free parking, good rate in comparison to similar options.

Yelp
My Family and I went to both Orlando Theme Parks and Disney's Parks also we stay for one week here. The closes spots is a CVS and 7 Eleven. But would have to be very careful crossing to the spots. We love our room and very nice Service. The only down for me I would say was there Breakfast hard Bagels with no cream cheese. This Suites is 15-25 minutes in car from Disney's Magic Kingdom and Orlando Studios.

Yelp
We stayed here for 3 nights recently while staying in Orlando. This is one of my all time favorite hotels. Mark, at the front desk, is the best. I mean, seriously, the best. He is funny and kind and helpful. My kids looked forward to seeing him every time we walked through the lobby. When we left, they said they were going to miss him. The rooms are big and comfortable. They are so big that my hubby needed to work during the day while we were staying there and because the rooms are so spacious, we were able to stay in the back half of the room and he could work without distraction. The pool is great although the area does get a little messy by late afternoon. The breakfast is one of the best complementary hotel breakfasts' I've ever had. Every day the choices change and the food was always warm and plentiful. We will be back!!

Yelp
If your looking for a luxury hotel this is not the place, however if you have a large number of kids then this is more than suitable for the price. The breakfast buffet is great and will save you money. The beds are comfy and spacious, but the bathroom definitely needs renovations. We thought we saw a bedbug the first night on the pull out sofa and asked for room changes but night staff was very unassisting. After further examination we assumed it must have been a pepper flake from the pizza place downstairs, but regardless I was not assisted the way I needed to in a possible room change. The other rooms that they tried to transfer us to were very unkept and nasty compared the room that we had initially had. The initial room was very clean other than the pullout sofa issue so we ended up staying there. Nevertheless, if housekeeping cleaned the rooms the way they should, then we wouldn't have even seen a pepper flake or anything in the pull out sofa. The hotel ended up giving us a VIP cleaning of the room after we complained in the morning and the rest of this stay was ok. Some of the people that stay in the hotel are rude to kids and even staff in the buffet area and seemingly feel privileged compared to others. I had to check/correct several people many times for their rude gestures or remarks toward my well behaved children ex. Pushing or shooing kids out of their way in the buffet line even though they waited their turn or being rude to the cleaning ladies in the dining area and treating them as if they were less. We are a Latino family also but some of the behavior from some of the Hispanic families visiting from other countries disgusted me. At the end of the day we are all human and should be treated with respected regardless of social class, job title, or where you are from. I wish the hotel would have done more to compensate us for that bad initial experience but nevertheless for the price that we paid it I was OK especially if you're only using the hotel to sleep at night.

Yelp
My stay was great. The hotel staff were pleasant and the location is perfect. 20 minute drive from SeaWorld and Universal Studios. Maybe 10 minutes from Disney. They have a gym on the second floor of the hotel and two laundry rooms. The outside pool is convieniently located next to their in-house restaurant, so guest can order at the window and eat poolside. There is also a pizza parlor on the 1st floor and a 7/11 across the street. I couldn't have been happier with the location. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was their breakfast. Guest eat breakfast for free between the hours of 7:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. Sounds great, except the food isn't good and there is a very limited selection. My daughter and I pretty much went out every morning after the first day. I would recommend that Management consider serving more than one meat in the morning. When my daughter and I peeked in each morning they always had pork. Not everybody eats pork. Management should consider serving turkey or chicken options.

Yelp
The place is nice but the manager is horrible. we asked for help because the battery died in our car. The staff behind the desk immediately jumped to help and the manager said no we can't help. We just did that yesterday. So you could help one person yesterday but not us today. She was there when we walked up. She didn't tell us assistance wasn't available. The other helped and she said no I assure you they won't help... my question was why were you able to help someone yesterday and you can't nor won't help us today, or why tell us you helped someone and won't help us.. spend your money where staff appreciate you as a guest equally..

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here from 11/10-11/14/21. I was worried after reading some of the negative reviews, but I'm glad we decided to go with it. We had a great experience. Our check in was quick and smooth. The front desk staff was really nice and professional. This was our first time staying off Disney property, and we definitely would stay here again. The price was great and it came with an awesome breakfast each morning that offered a great variety of food eggs, potatoes/hashbrowns, variety of muffins, pastries, bagels, cereal, and yogurt with fresh fruit was offered each morning. They also offered either bacon, sausage or ham and grits or oatmeal. We were full as we started each day off and it helped us to eat less in the parks, which also saved us money. The staff in the breakfast buffet area was also very friendly and top notch-the manager checked on us each morning and staff cleaned the tables each day quickly. When we went to breakfast our first morning, someone was sanitizing each of the credit card stations and front desk area. Compared to all of the Disney hotels we have stayed in (moderate and value), our room here offered a lot more space and, in my opinion, was just as nice, if not nicer. It was very clean (I'm a clean freak and bring my own Clorox wipes to clean, and the wipes were clean as I washed each area). It had a separate sitting/ living area away from beds that could be closed off with a sofa bed--we did not use this, but thought it was nice for larger families. I liked that sink was separate from shower area. Beds--are VERY FIRM. My husband LOVED it. I wished it was a little softer, but after a long day in the parks, I was able to sleep. The one downside (aside from me wishing the bed was a tad softer) would be the hot water seemed to take forever in the shower; however, once it got to be warm, it was fine. I wished the shower head was also a little more powerful, but that alone would not deter me from staying here again. Due to COVID, there was no daily cleaning, but we were fine with that and most hotels have the same policy. We had plenty of towels etc. The housekeeping staff, we came across in the halls were very friendly as well. Since our trip was short, we did not use the pool etc...nor did we use the shuttle service. We normally use Disney transportation when we stay on Disney property so we were curious to see the difference with us driving ourselves. We actually like being able to go straight to our car and leave instead of waiting forever for a bus at the end of the day and then being smooshed in like sardines. And, the drive back to the hotel was 15 minutes or less (usually closer to 10 minutes) All in all, we loved our stay at Buena Vista Suites and would definitely stay again.

Yelp
DANGER DANGER WARNING your life may be at stake! Recently stayed at this bed bug filled hotel only to find dozens of vehicles behind the hotel and the front completely vandalized and destroyed. My car was completely wrecked and the hotel would not do anything! Not even a free soda! They charge you a resort fee which includes a parking fee, a whopping $25 per night therefore they are legally responsible for my vehicle to ensure it's safety and they did not. I spoke with this very rude front end manager name Patrick he wouldn't even apologize and when I told him what happened he said well this is what happens even if you park in a supermarket so why would we do anything for you. That's no good unprofessional lowlife who has no business of being in any kind of management position he would not do anything for anybody. I called the general managers office and they wouldn't even call me back! My wife and 2 kids were coming out of the Disney park and came to this hotel at midnight and they were robbed at gunpoint and Patrick said they would not do anything for her nor did they ensure her safety in anyway. This Is obviously a regular problem this low level hotel and they will do nothing to make it right. I had a $500 glass deductible so I had to pay $500 out of pocket all my belongings and ID was stolen out of the car including luggage not to mention I lost a whole day of vacation. Everybody else was screaming the hotel wouldn't do anything for any of us. If you value your personal belongings and do not want your car destroyed and possibly having a gun pointed to you being robbed as my wife and kids were do not come here. This is a dangerous hotel not to mention it was filled with lowlife clientele. I will never come here again after I was treated so horribly embarrassed humiliated and my family almost killed and that little creep manager Patrick has the nerve to blame me for parking there when I'm staying at his hotel! By the way the breakfast buffet was really low quality. Not worth paying extra to stay here you would do much better anywhere else especially not to be abused by Patrick.

Yelp
After having the worst experience from the previous hotel we were staying to, I immediately looked for a 4 and up star rating for hotels and came across this hotel. I read reviews and can't find of 1 bad comment about this hotel. Upon pulling off the parking lot, i knewwww that this is the kind of place we want. Front desk receptionist mark is remarkable!! The room is awesome. Fridge, microwave, pull out sofabed, office desk, and 2 42" tv is just great. Clean everywhere, and smells brand new!!!! And the bedddddddddddd one of the most comfortable bed i have ever laid on. Did i mentioned free breakfast and parking too

Yelp
If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. I am so disappointed with our stay. We chose this hotel because we were going on vacation to Disneyworld and all of their properties were booked up. We found this hotel and it had positive reviews and so we took a chance on it. The rooms are very outdated and SO dirty. Our walls had scrapes and dirt all over, and our shower had mold in it. The second night of our trip we came home to find industrial sized staples all over the floor and IN OUR BED. The hotel let us change rooms but didn't offer us anything for our trouble. The staff was rude and their "free shuttle" is a joke. It runs only a few times a day and only once at night. What a waste of money I would never stay at this property ever again and will tell everyone traveling to Disneyworld to stay clear of it.

Yelp
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!! pics are deceiving. ZERO STARS!! This hotel needs a total facelift. Rooms are old and dated. Curtains in my room had holes in them. Bathroom was gross. Beds weren't comfortable and my face broke out from pillows. Breakfast was mediocre. Only thing good about this place was location and the staff was exceptional. Too many cons though. There are better hotels on strip and in area. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I rather pay a little more for something cleaner and nicer.

Yelp
This is so bizarre, I remember this place being pretty good for the price. It is not, you're better off paying the same price to stay at the Caribe Royale Hotel. First off, I was getting ready to take a shower for the first time after driving such a long day and found a dirty wash rag on the shower curtain rod. Disgusting. My party and I asked several times for some sugar packets for our coffee in the room for the morning (was like pulling teeth and they gave our party of 4 only 8 packets of sugar (they didn't give us the sugar until we went downstairs again to ask.) Also asked for extra linens and they were also never brought to us (along with the sugar). The breakfast was horrible! I actually spit out my food. I don't even know what they are serving that they consider "bacon." It was some kind of spongy mystery meat mess. I actually got an upset stomach after that. Thank god I didn't eat all the food. They really need to re-evaluate. Was very dissatisfied with this visit.

Yelp
Dear Buena Vista Suites, Thank you for providing my family and I an amazing stay at your hotel. Our time spent there was exceptional. The gym was clean, the pool was clean, the cafe was clean, the jacuzzi was clean, the hallways were clean, the breakfast was delicious. The staff was kind, patient, and caring. Spending time in Florida was extremely peaceful. Good luck on your renovations and all other endeavors. Sincerely, A satisfied guest.

Yelp
The room itself is great. Newly remodeled. Amenities though were subpar. The in-room Wi-Fi was atrocious. It would only work in the living room portion of my suite. Any time I tried to use my phone or go online in the bedroom portion, I would get no signal or reception. Also, they were hammering, shuffling around, power drilling and painting all early morning (6-10 am) in the room above mine, which awoke me. I was hoping to sleep in after my conference ended, so that was a let down. Don't waste your time with the free breakfast unless you stick with the basic made to order eggs and toast.
