Buenas Vibras Hostel

The staff and everyone staying there at the time were super friendly and all around good vibes. There was a BBQ one night that the staff threw for everyone. The place was adorable and clean with a big backyard, decent location and safe. The price was a bit expensive for 6 or 8? Bed dorm and no breakfast included.

Lovely hostel with really helpful staff - who have knowledge not just of Montevideo but can help you with tips if youre travelling further around south america. Great kitchen and backyard as well as a v cosy common area. Walking distance to the bus station, laundries, atms, and supermarkets. A really nice place to stay but what makes it excellent is the people you meet here :-)

I've been travelling throughout south America for the past five months and Buenas Vibras is the best hostel I've ever been to. Mati and Andres truly are great hosts and the atmosphere is amazing, with a perfect blend of cultures that come together, creating a "mustlive" environment.

Friendly and very relaxed, small scale with only 18 beds in a beautiful old building. Well located a short walk to la rambla and the bus station at tres cruces. There is also an excellent empanada place nearby (Pancho villa).

The best hostel in Montevideo and one of the best I've ever been. Great location, nice staff and the best asado! Definitely worth it!

Very basic, but staff are nice and the few bathrooms they have are spacious. Would immagine though that it would be a mess in the main season as there would most likely be a que for the bathrooms

Clean, secure, good atmosphere. The owner cooks an awesome meal. The char on the Asado was spot on.

We some place and awesome vibes. Would definitely go back.
