Great food and atmosphere here. Fresh food and family or friends makes for a good meal. Guitarists here play well and provide music straight from the soul (the band Thoreau’d in the Road) Kind employees and waiters help get your food. Overall 10/10 recommend to any barbecue lovers.

I am completely in love with this place! The food is amazing, prices reasonable, and everyone I have encountered has been honestly friendly. Anyone can fake a smile and be courteous, but when you're doing something you love, a warm and happy demeanor shines through. They're doing everything right here!

As someone who does not live nearby, I am jealous of the locals who can come here frequently. We had a great lunch with everyone very happy with their choices. Going on the weekend to get ribs was a great call. Sides were tasty. Service was fast. Would love to get a chance to come back soon.

My family and I love Buerky's! Hands down the best BBQ we've ever eaten! Very friendly staff, and awesome family style environment. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone whose ready to experience about as good a selection of quality and custom smoked meats as one could find throughout all of Missouri! Owned by a truly genuine and loving family...The Buerky's! They are the real McCoy; this fact being one that you can take to the bank! The loaded pulled pork nachos are my personal favorite and their fried fish is excellent as well. Large portion sizes and the food always tastes great. Their staff has always been friendly and attentive, and the dining area is kept clean. You definitely need to stop here and eat!

We walked in with a group of 20 people, (including kids of all ages!) and Buerky's was so flexible and accommodating. They allowed us to rearrange a few tables and essentially have an entire area to ourselves for eat in. Brisket was great! Tender, flavorful, delicious. French fries very flavorful. Mac didn't look great, but tasted like good ole comfort food Mac. Turkey was very good. Fried fish nuggets saved the day for some kiddos. Note that they did run out of a lot of menu items, and there was a note the window which states '$3 surcharge for brisket'.....but brisket was the only thing on the menu. Not sure if that surcharge was built in to the price or not, but we paid $40 for a sandwich and some brisket. 😳 Suggestion: when menu begins to sell out, do away with the surcharge. It's not really fair if that's the only thing you are selling at the time. Otherwise just increase the price on the menu.

My wife and I had the pleasure of finally trying Buerky's BBQ after waiting nearly 2 years to do so. After leaving the restaurant we were absolutely convinced we made a great choice! Even before we found the restaurant we knew we were getting close because the aroma of smoked bbq filled the air nearly 3 blocks away. Upon entering the restaurant we saw they were doing great business with the number of diners present. The store was clean, the staff were friendly, infomative, and attentive. For our meals that day I ordered a platter with brisket and pulled pork and my wife ordered burnt ends. We both found our meals to be very pleasing. The brisket was wonderful and pulled pork was as good as any I've ever had. My wife was equally satisfied with her burnt-ends meal. We both had the baked beans and after returning home we wished we had ordered more to take home with us, they were so good, so smoky and tangy! We joyed our meal so much that day we decided to take an order of ribs and wings home to Kansas City (yes, Kansas City) with us to have for lunch the next day. Every menu item we had was perfectly smoked and cooked not one minute to little or one minute too long. I honestly believe all we had from Buerky's BBQ, including the ribs and wings rival what we can find in our local KC BBQ joints. We will for sure stop by Buerky's BBQ the next time we head East from KC on I-70! When you stop in, say hello to owner, Matt and his father, Glen!

Best pulled pork ever. Sides are all to die for as well! Keep it up!

I got the Turkey sliders with green beans. Very tasty. My husband got the wings and hash brown casserole he liked it as well. I works come here again.

We were a group of 6 from California riding the KATY and one of our group recommended buerkys. We had a variety of things on the menu from sliders to a plate of burnt ends meat. Everyone was very happy with the main but we loved the sides as much. BBQ Beans, coleslaw , and fries. All yummy. Very family oriented. We were warmly greeted at the door by a friendly employee who inquired where we were from and hoped we lenjoyed the food and our ride. We did

It's my understanding that the business changes hands last year. I ate here recently and the pulled pork and sides were awesome. Great flavor, huge portions, very down-to-earth. Would definitely eat here again.

Really gross! Staff and customers not wearing masks, no social distancing, no hand sanitizer, all the utensils out in cups where everybody can put their dirty hands on it.

Listen, it doesn't take much to make me happy in a BBQ joint, but this place is FANTASTIC. The burnt ends sandwich was unreal, the place is adjoined to a liquor store where you can buy whatever you want by the bottle and take it over to the restaurant, and the fact that it's on Main Street gives it a wonderful ambiance. I heartily recommend it, this is a must if you're in Boonville.

Came through Boonville on a trip from California on the way to see my Dad in Missouri. Had the Kitty sandwich...OMG, the sandwich was huge and the bread was amazing I can't thank Buerky's BBQfor filling my belly to help me along my journey. I definitely will be stopping in in them every visit with my dad!

Food is good but the customer service is severely lacking. Wish we had more options for bbq in Boonville.

If you leave here hungry it's your own damn fault. I look forward to the weekends just to get some awesome local BBQ. Haven't had a bad thing from Buerky's ever! Their catfish is also so good it's the first place I've ever gone back to order more.

A refreshing addition to the dining choices in Boonville. Several months ago I took my niece and her daughter there for lunch and even the usually very picky eater cleaned her plate. We had the pulled pork, brisket and chicken, with beans, cole slaw and macaroni as sides. The pulled pork was tender, and juicy; the brisket was lean, flavorful and fork tender; and the ribs were well seasoned and fall off the bone good. Recently I dropped in for lunch and they brought out some catfish pieces for those of us waiting in line to try. They were thinking of adding a fish dinner to the Friday menu. After tasting the melt in your mouth fish, I ask if they would be selling the fish by the pound as they do the BBQ'd meats. He said yes. Now I have another tasty reason to go eat at Buerky's BBQ on Friday!

Brisket sandwich was excellent! Great flavor, not too greasy at all. Tasty pickles, excellent tea, good sauce. Catfish was also great. Definitely recommend!

When I walk into a BBQ joint, two things tell me everything I need to know about the place: the mouthwatering smells, and the menu contents. I find the best places have the simplest menus -- better to let the meat do the talking! And at Buerky's BBQ, it does not disappoint. The ribs were FANTASTIC, perfectly smoky in flavor and fall off the bone. I will definitely be returning here again!

My wife and I move to the area in July. Our neighbors recommended this place. Though is is a 30 minute drive for us, we decided to check it out. We were sure glad we did. In my life, I have had a lot of pulled pork, but my wife and I agree that this is the best pulled pork we have ever had. Unbelievably moist and tender. If you like a little spice, their habanero BBQ sauce option is fantastic and not overly spicy. Their sides are quite good too, the potato salad seems to have a nice bacon crunch and the mac and cheese is excellent (I recommend you toss in a little of the pulled pork for extra flavor). The prices are reasonable and the people are very warm and friendly.

I ordered an order of fries with a side of queso. Small amount if fries. Charged me $4.00! For limp fries! We are going elsewhere from now on

The burnt ends are some of the best we!ve had. Sides of macaroni and cheese, potato salad, coleslaw were all excellent. Not sure about the rest of the menu, which is the standard BBQ fare, but what we had was perfect . If we'd back in the area, we will return.

We ordered the three meat combo platter with two sides for carrier out last Saturday evening. Our selections were pulled pork, brisket, and ribs along beans, and coleslaw. I enjoyed that we were asked if we wanted the brisket lean or a little fatty. The brisket was lean, tasty, and wonderfully moist. The ribs and pulled pork were fantastically seasoned and also prepared to perfection. The slaw was fresh and the beans were not overly sweet as you find at some locations in the midwest. The beans had a subtle smoky taste. The three meat choice was a shared plate between my wife and I. The amount was perfect for the two of us. Currently, the three meat choices are only one dollar more than the two meat selection. Looking forward to trying the chicken and turkey. We will return again and tell everyone we know.
