This place is definitely one of "the" Whistler hot spots on a Friday night. Friday night is ladies night which means free admission for ladies before 10pm; if you arrive after 10, as we did (mistakenly thinking the cut off time was 11), cover is $18. In many ways, it's a typical club. Over-crowded dance floor, under-dressed servers, and tables and booths in the slightly less-crowded peripheral areas to get some much needed air after a few songs on the jam-packed dance floor. Trust me, you will be thankful for the less-crowded outer areas once the club gets full of dancing bodies.
On the other hand, the club is slightly atypical in that it also features pool tables and arcade games you would more likely find in a "pub" atmosphere, and you will find a very eclectic mix of people and music. There were medleys of almost every type of music from house to Michael Jackson to country. So don't expect to hear top 40 hits all night. Also I found the age range varied widely, especially considering the venue. Overall, it was a fun experience, no better or worse than a typical dance club, although at times I didn't think the music selection was very amenable to dancing. Nevertheless, as I said, definitely a hot spot if you're looking to party where the action is at Whistler.
