A very beautiful place with a meaningful message - that people of different faiths can all come together harmoniously and share a place of worship. We ended up staying much longer than expected. The architecture and design of the place was mesmerising - especially on the interior. There was so much to see and explore, and so many beautiful and meaningful messages to absorb. I do not consider myself a religious person, but when I was in the building, the vibes felt very serene, peaceful, and spiritual. The people working there, including the people at the cafe (something else I did not expect and wish I had included in my plans - a meal there) were all very friendly and contributed towards the positive energy felt all around. As a bonus, views from the top were breathtaking! I wish we were able to spend at least another couple of hours there, and included a meal there as part of the itinerary for the day.

Ticket is 25k per person includes fried cassava you can exchange at the cafe. It also includes a quick tour of the building, in which you can learn of the history and use of the building. Mostly debunking the more popular name of the building, Gereja Ayam. It is neither a church or a chicken, it is a house of prayer for all religions. The cafe has a nice view, the weather is nice in the morning, and the watercolor paintings at the second floor are so beautiful.

Very interesting and great to experience. Love the idea of a place to worship for every one of any religion. The history on the tour was fascinating and the view from the top is incredible. Definitely worth a stop when in the area.

This building was actually built as a prayer house for all religions. Pretty much exciting interiors. However, the main attraction is the panorama all around the peak (head crown) of the pigeon. If you cane here during the holiday season, be prepared for a long queue. There is a restaurant inside the building so you can enjoy snacking and a coffee or two.

Good for exercise. The tour guide explained very clearly and the story was very interesting. The art I love so much...however I couldn't take the pics. It was prohibited ..

Amazing view from the top deck, where we can see Puthuk Setumbu and Borobudur from afar. Well maintained facilities. They have guides for those who wants to know more about Bukit Rhema.

Gereja Ayam is a stunning Christian place of worship, nestled just a stone's throw away from the iconic Borobudur Temple. Despite its name, "Gereja Ayam" (Chicken Church), the building actually takes the shape of a majestic dove, not a chicken! Even today, it remains a vibrant space for prayer, with multiple prayer rooms tucked away downstairs. But the adventure doesn’t stop there! Head up to the church's rooftop, where you’ll discover a charming mini restaurant serving up delicious fried cassava, crispy fritters, and aromatic coffee. And for a touch of magic, don’t forget to visit the wishing board—leave a note with your deepest desires and watch them take flight!

This is one of my favourite places in Indonesia. Top 3 for sure! The most beautiful mistake that brings everyone together. Brilliant. A place of worship that accommodates all religions and faiths. rp25000 entry which includes a cassava snack. Great photo opp and a really nice place to chill. There's a small restaurant with local food and local prices, nice soft music and a great view. So glad I made the trip, and obviously I highly recommend visiting this unique place.
