Bukit Timah Wet Market & Food Centre (Interim)

Nice Environment, well ventilated. Good strong local Coffee and Tea. Best Wanton Noodle with well charred deeply seasoned Char Siew, tender umami Pig Leg Noodle and Chicken Feet Noodle. The braise has a dried seafood taste and thickened with collagen. Noodles are seasoned with that braise sauce from the pig leg taking the noodles to the next level. Wonderful fried Beehoon with Ngo Hiang, the secret is in the sauce which I believe is infused with limau purut. One of the best Lala Prawn White Beehoon at affordable prices, large prawns plenty of Lala and Umami Soup. To be eaten with the complimentary crispy lard. Mixed Vegetable rice is generous and generally freshly cooked. One of the most popular Hainanese Style Mutton Soups in Singapore. Generous portions at affordable prices. Great tasting herbal soup, just the right amount of herbal infusion, not medicinal tasting. Two stalls selling Fried Carrot Cake, Black and White. Both are possibly ranked amongst the top in Singapore. Fish Soup is excellent, generous portions with super fresh fish! Overall, one is spoilt for choice!

Food centre is very crowded, not spacious, very hot, the common area between seating area and stalls are very closed. Only here for the famous satay beehoon, long waiting time but it's worth. It really tastes good. Nyonya chendol is Michelin recommended, not bad. The rest of food like char koay teow, carrot cake and BBQ wings taste so so only.

Love this hawker centre! The Guotie (pan fried dumplings near the cuttlefish beehoon) is outstanding. Chendol - my mum says there is standard. Hainan coffee stall - big shoutout too. Very good. Soya bean- very tasty and generous with the gingko thats cooked well.

Though just across the street from its original site, this interim food centre is miles better as it's right behind the bus stop and also nearer to the MRT. Most importantly, the tables and seatings are well spaced. No longer the narrow aisle like the old site, I found myself enjoying coming here again as many of the OG stalls had moved over here while also exploring other stalls for new food gems.

Always a place for good hawker food. Lots of stalls! spoilt for choice. Mostly close or sold out around 830pm. More parking than their original location. Pretty cozy interim place.

I order Mixed Hor Fun from the Ah Hui Seafood White Bee Hun stall. The Hor Fun taste is ok just a little bit not salty enough for me. 😀 But the portion is super big, so big for only $5.50! Can’t find this elsewhere I think. As the hawkers centre is a temporary one, the environment is not so cozy but generally acceptable. I went there before peak hour so can say not very crowded.

This is a popular hawker centre in the Upper Bukit Timah area - albeit an "Interim" one until its permanent location (just across the road) is ready. This hawker centre retains quite a number of the popular stalls from its previous location - notably the fried carrot cake stall, the satay stall, the thunder tea rice stall to name a few. This hawker centre is sort of divided - that said, unevenly into two, with the smaller section nearer to the Beauty World MRT Station exit. The dining ambience here is better than at the previous location as it is "cleaner" and more spacious.

This is always one of my favourite food centre. Been eating here since young. There are many good food stalls here. For eg, there are satay, chicken wings, satay bee hoon, fried carrot cake, fish soup and white bee hoon. All good. Will keep coming back for more.
