I stopped to get block ice for a trip into Canyonlands and they had 10 lb blocks at a reasonable price. The clerk was very helpful and the store was well laid out. It was also clean and there was plenty of parking too!

I went shopping here earlier this week for a few things my friend and I forgot when we were out of town. The prices were not too high as I was a bit afraid of. I returned Saturday with my friend with me to try the pizza since she works near by. It was great. Decent price, fresh, hot, and tasty!

Google
Local shop. You can find basic items here. 3/5 because pricing is what it is… there is no price tags and like bagel bag costs 8dollars. Same bagel bag from walmart 1dollar. Still better than no shop at all.

Google
Great all-purpose grocery store close to the entrance to Capital Reef NP. They had a good variety of groceries. We were able to find everything on our stock up list before heading into the park.

Bull Mountain Market is a gem! Curtis, the owner, is an incredibly kind and helpful person. I found a lost cat while passing through, and as I waited for the owners, he generously helped me out with supplies to keep the cat comfortable. The store itself is fantastic—well-stocked with a great selection, and everything looks clean and organized. It’s more than just a market; it’s a place with heart. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Google
After seeing grocery prices in Blanding I was a bit nervous, especially since many of the items don't have tags. (Perhaps you're supposed to scan a code with an app, since there are codes on everything.) I'd say reasonable for a small grocery store, 7.99 for the 24 pack of Bar S sausage and 4.29 for a cannister of oatmeal (it was 8 for oatmeal in Blanding). The checkout person was friendly.

Google
Best market in Hanksville! And more than just a market. Art gallery, hardware store, a place for a quick bite... Completely reasonable prices, too! Friendly staff completely finishes it off! Check them out. Way better than the gas station options!

Google
You better stock up on provisions. Because there's not much in Hank belt or the surrounding towns

Yelp
Small town market, decent selection, super high prices. Pretty much the only option for fresh fruit and vegetables between Moab and Torrey. Plenty of parking. Right on the highway.

Yelp
We camped at Goblin Valley State Park and wanted to grab some groceries for the campground. Bull Mountain Market is a small store with limited options. They also had a section for tools and a mini thrift store. They have a random assortment of things here, and as Yelp Elite Sam S. said in his review of this market "If you're lucky, they may have what you're looking for, however, it's also possible they won't." We forgot towels and lucky for us, they had a couple towels for us to purchase. There's was a more limited amount of groceries here than we were expecting, and a lot of the shelves were empty or half filled. The produce section was a small corner with some garlic, tomatoes, onions, and potatoes, and one panel of the fridge. The salad mix in the fridge was expired, and some of the strawberries had mold. I wouldn't plan on purchasing produce here, as the options are very limited and the options that they do have aren't the best quality. It was very pricey for the quality of products, which is to be expected. We spent the same amount for a weekend of groceries for two that I spend on a week of groceries for myself. I would recommend bringing groceries down with you, especially produce if you're visiting the area or camping. Yelp Elite Jason N. mentioned that Green River and Loa are near by with bigger stores/options as well.

Yelp
We stopped here to see what they might have to eat for a late lunch. Not much, lol. We didn't need any groceries at the time, if we did this would have been the place. Not much here but Hanksville is a tiny town to begin with. It's all good. Thank you.

Yelp
Very limited selection of groceries. As is to be expected for the location. A 10 lb bag of ice was $2.50. It looked like the pizza was one of the main attractions. Hopefully you are stopping here for ice or a forgotten item. Green River and Loa both have grocery stores with a much larger selection and better prices.

Mark B.

Yelp
Disgusting! Horrible service. The owner's tiny dog was sitting in the middle of the busy road in front of the store and after I got it out of the road the owner says "he'll learn his lesson." I guess that's how they treat their animals here!

Yelp
Bull Mountain Market is a small town market in Hanksville with groceries, hardware, souvenirs, and other necessities. If you're lucky, they may have what you're looking for, however, it's also possible they won't.

Yelp
Bull Mountain Market is the only market in this out of no where town of Hanksville, Utah. Thank goodness they were open when we came by here around 6:25 pm on a Monday night. My husband and I were greeted by an employee right before coming in (since he was smoking a cigarette outside). Was not expecting much because I figured this was a small store but was surprised to find a very clean toilet and a fair selection of food items. We ended up purchasing a bag of apples that turned out to be fresh, naturally sweet and juicy. We also purchased a few canned foods. To be honest, a lot of food items in the store are a bit pricey but there are some items in this store are reasonably priced. This store also has a soda fountain and also sells ready to eat pizza and I believe hot dogs to (something that would remind me of what you may find in an AM PM or other gas station shop). Overall, had a good experience and found this market to be a godsent since we were running low on fruits during our road trip, which was nice to fill up since we were going to drive another 45 minutes away to our hotel and figured it was getting late to purchase items (you never know what you may find out in these small towns and a lot of businesses close early too).

Yelp
It was great to find a market in the middle of nowhere to get some needed items ( cream for coffee, yes). The prices here were very high, but that's to be expected.

Yelp
Karrie helped us find a few items we needed for our camping trip. She was very kind and helpful. They have basic necessities. Some fruit, veggie, bread, drinks and frozen items along with a desert selection of snacks. I may be mistaken but it looked like they had a small hardware store in the back. They had fresh pizza as well. A nice market to replenish snacks while passing through or camping.

Yelp
This was a nice surprise. We were in a fairly remote area and needed some staple items on our way to a National Park. I found everything we needed at non-gouger prices, had cheerful customer service, and used the very clean restroom. We even received some paper plates for our lunch. Good stuff.

Yelp
Small market with basics. Would be a positive review except for one thing - pay close attention to the marked prices. A 1# propane cylinder is $12 (versus $2 at most stores). There is no excuse for this type of price gouging.

Yelp
This place is super neat and clean. Not one speck of dust. Did not have milk by the quart when I was there. Good place to stop on an otherwise empty road.

Yelp
This is a modest market in the middle of nowhere, but easily one of the best customer service experiences I had on a month long trip of National Parks. Wow! My friend and I stopped in there to get some camping supplies - it was adequate and beyond my expectations for the location. We exist on boiled eggs and coffee in the morning. They only had raw eggs, but the woman in the market proactively offered to boil them for us! Not only that, she volunteered the wifi password while we waited. Truly one of the nicest people I have met in a long time. Thank you so much!

Yelp
Oasis in the middle of nowhere. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of groceries offered, including fresh veggies and fruit, as well as a pizzeria in store. Camping supplies/firewood also available. We were very relieved to find something with so many things we needed during our beautiful but desolate drive.

Yelp
After an exhausting day in 2012 doing Little Wild Horse and Bell Canyons, as well as Goblin State Park in 110+ degree weather, the ice cream we had at the Bull Mountain market will always be treasured and remembered. The people who worked there took the time to chat with us, presenting the town history and suggesting other places to visit. But we were on a tight schedule and did not have the time. But we're coming back - look for us on July 2, 2016 as we not only visit these places again, but take up their suggestion and spend 5 days in the region. Thanks, guys.

Yelp
If you remember the scene in Butch Cassidy where they get off the train in Boliva then you can guess how this "market" is. Empty shelves, except for chips, soda and beer. They have a few pitiful veggies and did have 1/2 &1/2 and eggs which had a decent expiration date. Get your supplies before coming here. Just a warning for fellow travelers.

Yelp
Some groceries but not much of a selection. What do you expect for little hanksville? This is actually the place where the locals do their grocery shopping unless they make the "big trip to the big town". Service has always been friendly. I disagree with previous reviewer and I DO NOT think this is a "sorry place". You can get what you need to get by.

Mark S.

Yelp
What a sorry place! If you absolutely need some groceries in Hanksville, go to one of the gas stations!

Lara A.

Yelp
This is an amazing little market in the middle of nowhere!! Six years ago it was dingy, dark and depressing. Now it has a great selection including a hardware section and a hairdressing salon and pizza ovens. Word of warning - it is closed on Sundays. If you need yogurt, or Starbucks ground coffee - this is the place. Hours are late in summer, until 9:00 pm, 8:00 pm in shoulder season and 7:00 pm in the off season. They have fresh produce, but the selection is limited - unless you're used to shopping in the Pamirs.

Margaret M.

Yelp
Thank heavens, under new ownership and looks like a real store now. Even carries some veggie burgers etc - unfortunately down here not too many vegetarians so the price is pretty high. But at least it is there!

Rick V.

Yelp
This is supposed to be a grocery store, but they did not even have sliced bread. This would be not be a problem at home where we have a bread knife, but we do not take such things on camping trips. About the only reason I can see to be Hanksville is camping or boating.
