Bulli & Balene - Spritz e Cicchetti

Visited at 6:30 PM. While they do not offer a traditional aperitivo, I confirmed with the gentleman at the front that they serve €4.50 economico drinks and 1.50€ crostini. The crostini come in a wide variety of bite-sized options—perfect if you want to create your own DIY-style aperitif experience. Ordering is simple: place your order at the front counter, grab your crostini, and a waiter will bring your drinks to the table. There’s additional seating in the back, where the open doors to the street allow for a lovely breeze and relaxed atmosphere.

We stumbled across this spot one day, and the display of cicchetti immediately caught our attention. The place was lively, with patrons either seated inside or, our favorite, standing outside on the street or in the square enjoying spritzes. There are vegan options available—thankfully!—and they were delicious, perfect for fueling us after a day of exploring. We ended up coming here a couple of times during our three-day stay. The spritzes are excellent, the food incredible, and the overall vibe is outstanding. A must-visit if you’re in Florence!

Lovely spot for Apetitivo! All the drinks were great and you can choose from a wide variety of little bruschettas and sandwiches too.

Excellent cocktails and wine and great Ciccheti! The staff was so welcoming and earn inspite of it being packed. If I lived in Florence this would be my go-to place to hang out with friends after a day at work. The music is peppy & feels like Friday - would totally recommend! We paid 11 euros for a glass of Chianti & Aperok Spritz and 1.5 euros each for the ciccheti

Absolutely loved this little bar. It was right down the street from our airbnb and we went there almost every night of our trip for Aperitivo. I had the Hugo Spritz every time and my brother the Campari. The small bites were to-die-for. One evening we weren’t super hungry so we just went here for dinner. In you’re staying in Santo Spirito you must go here!

September 1,2025 .My partner and I went there to kill some time before dinner and get an aperitivo. We both ordered Aperol spritz. This was the worse Aperol I have ever had ( I am italian)!!!!!! It was literally made of a bit of Aperol and just water and ice. Tasteless! . As you can see from the picture and the colour of the drink, it looks very watery. Very bad experience with Aperol spritz here! I told the bartender ( the tall guy with dark beard/hair) and he did not do anything . I had to CLEARLY ask him to add more Aperol in my drink and he also gave me attitude!! Please do not go there ! Not sure how this place got 4,7 review!!!

Good value for money. Spritz strong but nice. Try all flavours lol. Cicchetti were yummy, interesting but good combinations. Who knew fish and kiwi would work so well. Yum yum. For 4 cocktails and 6 bites, came to 27 euro.
