BuellsPort Resort & Farm is located in at Road M31, south of Solitaire. The resort offers 12 quality rooms and 4 camping sites at 3km from the lodge. There is a restaurant & shop, lounge & bar. Outfit and layout provide a pleasant atmosphere. Service is friendly and helpful. You can go for hiking one of the 14 trails & horse riding for beginners and advanced riders. We opted for a room and there were few guests. We had a charming twin room, with good bed & bedlinen, coffee & tea facility, coffee-table & 2 club-chairs, 2 desks, air-co & gas-stove, fridge, and a nice bathroom with 2 washbasins, spacious shower & separate toilet. All was super clean. BuellsPort Lodge is a good place, and a fine choice for 2 or 4 nights. Highly recommended.

This place is totally authentic and very comfortable. The hosts couldn't be nicer and provided we three vegetarians with everything we could want. We stayed 2 nights. My kids did a lovely hike for several hours and since I was alone on my hike - and nervous about it - they provided the asst manager (a lovely young woman) to walk with me for 3 hours. The tour by 4x4 with the host of the terrain was fab!

We stayed at the campsite. Be sure to arrive early to enjoy the quite, views and wildlife. Spectacular night sky. Facilities are brilliant, very clean and good water pressure. Two campsites are relatively close one to each other. Bring insects repellent.

Well run guesthouse with great access to the Naukluft mountains. The Quiver Tree Gorge hike was fantastic and David our guide was genuinely outstanding. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was satisfying. As with much of the accommodation in Namibia, it felt overpriced. But we would recommend the lodge as an ideal way to break the journey between Windhoek and Sossussvlei.

We had such an incredible time at BullsPort Lodge and Farm. The hospitality was top notch. We stayed there two nights and were glad we did. We got to hike both days seeing Quiver Trees and Mountain Zebras (in the wild!) along the way. They even offered us a guided hike and took us on an off road tour which was very personal and didn't feel as touristy as it did at some of the other lodges. The food was great and they accommodated our dietary needs with ease. My mom raved about the soup we had one night for days! I would highly recommend staying at this family run establishment for a true and enjoyable Namibian expeirence.

You must see the Quiver trees. The owners and the place are great. The hiking is lovely and the 4x4 tour by the host was fascinating. He really shared his life with us. Our group was myself and my two grown children. We all hiked. Beautiful. It is a place to experience. we went in Sept 2024

Our memories of our stay at Buellsport will last a lifetime. It is a great stopover on a road trip to Sesriem but it offers a unique opportunity to get a brief glimpse of life on a working ranch in Namibia. We stayed 5 nights. The rooms in purpose built lodges are spacious, well designed and comfortable. The food was home-cooked, delicious and some of it sourced from the farm. And, weather permitting, dinner was served on the patio so that you are able to sit out and enjoy the food, a fine selection of wines, the African night skies and chat with other guests. There are extensive marked trails across the ranch for walks, bird and wildlife watching, biking and horse-riding; excursions for canyon walks; and the Naukluft National Park is just 30 minutes drive away offering trails along gorges and up into the mountains. Jo and Ernst are hospitable and engaging hosts with countless stories of life on the ranch and they have support from a great team who provide friendly but professional service. Unforgettable!

BüllsPort Lodge is one of two hotels which we found particularly remarkable during our stay in Namibia.||Located on the road from Walvis Bay to Maltahöhe, this lodge is a perfect location if you would like to spend some time enjoying calm environment, good food, decent hiking trails and ride a horse (and all of this - on the premises of the same lodge). We stayed here for 3 nights, and I would say it would've been better to stay 4 or 5.||First: people - from co-owner (Johanna), who was super welcoming and helpful, to the last employee on the farm - everyone was friendly, polite, forthcoming and did their job impeccably well. I have to admit, the level of organisation at BüllsPort exceeds many hotels with much more prominent names in Europe.||Second: rooms - large and clean. Comfy beds, lots of horizontal storage (you can keep 2 suit cases open without sacrificing walkability of the room), separate area for coffee/tea (courtesy tray was provided and it was refreshed daily), spacious bathroom with high quality shower products, separate loo, good internet (was glitchy for the first hour, but then worked like a charm). Daily housekeeping - and they did their job meticulously well.||Third: cuisine. Breakfast and dinner were included in our rate - and they were both high quality and well prepared. Breakfasts contained many products from the farm, incl. all jams, juice and vegetables. Dinners were changing every night, and each time we did enjoy the quality of the food - the owners do employ a very decent chef.||Last but not least: there are plenty of things one can do: from getting some vitamin D by the swimming pool to reading books from Ernst and Johanna's library and from riding horses to hiking up the mountains while watching wildlife - this lodge has it all. We are happy that we did book a stay here and would definitely stay here again should we be visiting the region.
