This was by far the best place we stayed in all of Namibia! My only regret is not staying longer. The accommodation is clean, to a very high standard, a home away from home. It has everything you could possibly need. The meals we had at this lodge were just amazing - our evening meal was a 4 course affair of fresh and local produce. There are beautiful walks right on your doorstep as well as other activities such as horse riding and game drives. The star gazing is unreal! The hosts are incredible, no request is too much, and were so welcoming. We will be booking here again!

BuellsPort Resort & Farm is located in at Road M31, south of Solitaire. The resort offers 12 quality rooms and 4 camping sites at 3km from the lodge. There is a restaurant & shop, lounge & bar. Outfit and layout provide a pleasant atmosphere. Service is friendly and helpful. You can go for hiking one of the 14 trails & horse riding for beginners and advanced riders. We opted for a room and there were few guests. We had a charming twin room, with good bed & bedlinen, coffee & tea facility, coffee-table & 2 club-chairs, 2 desks, air-co & gas-stove, fridge, and a nice bathroom with 2 washbasins, spacious shower & separate toilet. All was super clean. BuellsPort Lodge is a good place, and a fine choice for 2 or 4 nights. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the campsite. Be sure to arrive early to enjoy the quite, views and wildlife. Spectacular night sky. Facilities are brilliant, very clean and good water pressure. Two campsites are relatively close one to each other. Bring insects repellent.

Our stay at Buellsport Guest Farm was truly disappointing. Nestled in the popular and scenic Hartdam region, we had high hopes for our accommodation, but it fell far short of representing the hospitality and standards of Namibia. After a long six-hour drive, we pulled into what appeared to be the wrong place. The sight that greeted us was a collection of rundown yellow buildings that seemed neglected and forlorn.||The reception and dining area exuded a sense of despondency, with faded decor that left a bleak impression. Unfortunately, the staff's lackluster welcome did little to lift our spirits. With it being too late to find alternative lodging, we reluctantly decided to stay for one night of three booked.||The room was a slight improvement over the surroundings but still a dark, cold and uninviting space. The Buellsport motto of SAVE was clearly visible everywhere with little labels on the light switches as well as the empty gas bottle in the heater and one rasher of bacon with breakfast.|It felt as though our comfort was an afterthought.||Out of the four places we stayed during our ten-day holiday in Namibia, Buellsport was the most expensive yet totally disappointing. |Charm and appeal don’t need to come with a hefty price tag; all they require is a touch of imagination and effort—qualities that Buellsport sadly lacks. We left feeling let down and after one night were relieved to leave Buellsport behind.

Brilliant place to stay in a very relaxing and beautiful environment. Great trails for walking and interesting guided tour and walk to Quiver Tree Canyon. Excellent food and good at catering for vegetarians.

This place is totally authentic and very comfortable. The hosts couldn't be nicer and provided we three vegetarians with everything we could want. We stayed 2 nights. My kids did a lovely hike for several hours and since I was alone on my hike - and nervous about it - they provided the asst manager (a lovely young woman) to walk with me for 3 hours. The tour by 4x4 with the host of the terrain was fab!

Well run guesthouse with great access to the Naukluft mountains. The Quiver Tree Gorge hike was fantastic and David our guide was genuinely outstanding. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was satisfying. As with much of the accommodation in Namibia, it felt overpriced. But we would recommend the lodge as an ideal way to break the journey between Windhoek and Sossussvlei.

You must see the Quiver trees. The owners and the place are great. The hiking is lovely and the 4x4 tour by the host was fascinating. He really shared his life with us. Our group was myself and my two grown children. We all hiked. Beautiful. It is a place to experience. we went in Sept 2024
