The very good mango smoothie was essentially mango puree but I wasn't complaining. It was pricey at 9.90 but then everything is in Carnarvon. We visited 22/7/24. There is a big selection of preserves, jams, pickles and some frozen icecreams. You can sit on the side veranda and study the various photos on the memorabilia wall. There are some tables and chairs outside closer to the river so you could bring a picnic lunch topped up with a smoothie or ice cream. By the way bring cash which I fully support. I think there is a card option but not encouraged.

Bumbak's has a large selection of different jams, jars and preserves. They also have lots of frozen treats to try. We tried the chocolate coated bananas after they were recommended by a friend.

Abundant Mango trees fruiting when we visited. Fresh mangoes quite pricey (each), but worth it. Bought their locally made Bumbak's Banana ice cream (frozen banana wrapped in chocolate, with decorations)- a great way to use-up ripe bananas! Printed receipt: "Terra Temptations".

Great place to get jams, chutneys, sauces, and preserves all made at the property from local supplies. We bought a jar of Fig jam and a Garlic and Chilly Steak rub, which are awesome. We also had one of their famous smoothies, which were to die for. The lady in the shop was very friendly and helpful. As the foods are made on premises, dogs are not allowed.

Drove in here to get some of their smoothies and some small gifts, smoothies were ok, mango one could’ve used crushed ice to make it more refreshing. Bring cash or get an earful from the lady behind the till about how using card is such a inconvenience to her and she is “working for nothing” What could’ve been quite a pleasant experience was ruined by their poor, and dated customer service.

A popular lovely local shop with diverse and abundant local products, like the famous smoothies, ice creams, jams, sauces, pickled fruits and veggies... Tried the smoothie and it was great, so thick and mangoie. The yard is cute and comfortable to sit in too. Worth a visit 😋

A hidden gem in Carnarvon! You can tell they've invested decades of hard work into this place, and they’re open year-round, except for the occasional closure for family commitments—it’s a true family-run business. We dropped by for a mango ice pop, and it tasted like pure mango—absolutely delicious! The dried mango was just as delightful, bringing back memories of sitting under a mango tree in the NT, eating mangoes until I was completely satisfied. There’s plenty of grassy space for kids to run around and burn off some energy, and you might spot some sheep or even catch a glimpse of banana bunches on the walk to the shop. Make sure to bring cash, as it’s preferred and totally understandable. Don’t arrive too early—they’re busy picking fruits or chillies for their chutneys, so bring your patience and good manners! I’m also not sure what the other reviews are talking about because the owner here was nothing but friendly and knowledgeable. Yes, they were super busy making relish and chutneys while also serving customers, but that just shows how hardworking they are. It’s clear they’re dedicated to their craft, and it made the experience even more authentic and enjoyable.

Great selection of jams and chutneys. However the interaction with the staff wasn’t great. The staff at the till spent several minutes having a friendly chat with an older white couple from Melbourne. We waited until they were done with their conversation at the till. After which the staff checked us out quickly and when I said “Thank you - the smoothie was yummy” there was no response from her. It was kinda weird.
