Before deciding to stay here, please take the time to read reviews from other guests. Room: The room was not well cleaned; it was dirty, and the bathroom had a broken shower. Food: The food was quite dull, and there were limited choices available. Signal: There was no internet connection, and they did not offer Wi-Fi. Electricity: My experience with electricity was unfortunate. There was a blackout at night, and to my surprise, they didn't have a generator. What made it even worse was that the staff just left the hotel at night starting from 7 pm, and only one staff member was left who couldn't be reached. Other: I had a concerning incident during my stay, so if you are traveling alone, please exercise caution. I hope they can improve their service, particularly in terms of responding to guest calls.

We arrived on Monday evening at around 8.30pm looking for a bungalow to sleep. The gates were closed and it looked like closed. We had to find local people who after some time trying to call many people , managed to find a manager. We found it weird experience, even if we know they go sleep early but you run a business of guesthouse. They phone number doesn't work. When we came we found it empty ,no guests but many employees. We spend enjoyable night as it was quiet and decided to stay more nights. This place is relaxing, beautiful, on the beach. The hut is basic as expected, with salty water in tap. However, few things were disturbing and ruined our syst there ans need improvement. First, the noise. We were hoping to find leave but one day were awoken at 6am by loud music from restaurant , by employees.i asked to turn down. But day was ruined! 6am!!! Secondly, they burn the garbage in the garden right in front of the room, the bad toxic smell comes to the room in the morning! Again, this is horrible experience. We have experience travelling in asia and they often do it. They forget they rub the business and people come here ,pay money to find peace. Not the mountain of burni g rubbish. Third, on the weekend there is a lot of noise from Indonesian families in the morning who wake up at 5am and start screaming and shouting. Unbearable and impossible to sleep ,childreb screaming next door. We love this place and would be lovely to return , hopefully the service will improve one day

We had a wonderful 5 day stay here! Rahma is a great host, speaks English really well and welcomed us like family. The staff were all super helpful, friendly, but non-intrusive. The cooks were fantastic, especially Mila, who made us the best banana pancake we have had in Indonesia. They set me up with a boat shuttle every morning to take me out to the surf break just outside the bay, as well as surf board rental. We took a cooking class with Mila (highly recommend, she is a kitchen master!) and we loved kayaking around the bay. We were here in late March and literally had the resort to ourselves! Very QUIET, no mosques close by to hear the prayers and we slept like babies. We loved the comfy cabanas on the beach and had some awesome bonfires with beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend if you want a break from the chaos of town and want to relax with good food and friendly locals. Excellent spot for surf tourists (near Gerupuk inside and outside breaks) and lovely for couples looking for a quiet bungalow. NO WIFI, which seemed bad at first but we came to love the isolation - a pleasant break from society on what felt like our private little island. Only 30mins drive to Kuta and there is wifi at the restaurant next door. Can't wait to come back!

Nice place for company/ group activities. Located right by the beach with a very soft white (beige) sands. In the area there are lot of plantation, especially pine trees, so there are many shades if you feel it's too hot in the afternoon. You can see prawn farms around because it is located in a at bay. Small cliff on the side is a good spot for photos and from there, Tunak Ecological Tourism Center is visible.

A cut hidden resort. You can reach it by scooter or by boat from Gerupuk (very romantic trip). The place is a little bit like undiscovered Paradise for real. Hordes of tourist will not ruin your fun for sure. The staff is very friendly and nice. They offer plenty of programs (fishing, coconut collecting, massage, games etc) so you will not get bored for a couple of days for sure. We didn't book in advance, just dropped in, and the prices were reasonable. You can choose between bungalows or brick rooms with air-co. I advice to take the bungalows, because it suits more to the place. ||But make sure that you have some protection against bugs and insects, there are not too many, but they can ruin your night. The beach in front is beautiful, but the water is less paradise like (it is not dirty though)

Everything was perfect, right from when the hotel taxi wed arranged fetched us from the airport. 'The Twins' -a jolly man and his brother proceeded to chatter to us all the way to the hotel, telling us stories about the island and asking lots of questions. At the hotel we were met by the driver's wife who worked on reception. She and the other staff were so warm and welcoming -and immediately took to our 10 month old daughter. ||||We opted to stay in the bamboo bungalow -no aircon but the fan kept us plenty cool. We put the net around the bed and didn't suffer any bites. It was a perfect, fun way to start the holiday. The loo at the back is really basic, with no flush, but again, we were prepared for this, so it wasn't a problem. The beach out the front is gorgeous, with little floating fishing rafts and lovely sand. We were sad to leave.

This is a secret little spot. We came here for some drinks and to relax on the beach. The mixed juice and iced coffee were yummy and well priced. The beach was pretty and empty - we were the only people enjoying it. The staff were also friendly here.

We enjoyed two nights of Wet Season heat at Bumbangku. We took a bamboo cottage with fan. It was cool at night. The staff were excellent. Food was great. We enjoyed canoeing in the bay where we found fossils (at the end of the bay. It's all fossil bearing sediment) and looking at the lobsters in their pens.
