Bumbu Bali Restaurant & Cooking School

Thoroughly enjoyed all three visits to Bumbu; What a feast! It was awesome to watch the culinary students cooking in an open air setting and to have all the aromas wafting your way, drool worthy. On the first visit we tried a variety of dishes and then on subsequent visits we went pretty hard with the sate. I highly recommend the pork, duck and chicken sates. Beautifully flavoured and the portions are very generous. Rolled ourselves back to the hotel ha ha satisfied. If you find room for dessert there are some delightful offerings as well. We also bought a cookbook and are hoping to bring some of the cooking magic back home to our kitchen.

The best food we had on our holiday on Bali! Went there 3 days in a row. Food is amazing delicious, service polite and pays a lot of attention on their guests! Prices are absolutely moderate!

We went to this restaurant about 10 years ago and was great to see it's still going strong. The staff were attentive and professional and the food was great for most part. I couldn't bring this up to them at the time but Mi Goreng and Nasi Goreng was horrible. Nothing like the authentic dishes. Noodles and rice were under cooked and the flavours were not there at all. This was very disappointing. If someone who never had those dishes tried them here, they would not be trying them again. I remember 10 years ago I was so impressed with these dishes. I give them 4 stars given that it was a freak accident.

The moment you enter the wonderful restaurant you are greeted with great staff who are super welcoming and friendly, the food was delicious, best meal we had during our time here, wouldn’t recommend it enough. Family of 5 all fed and loved it. Definitely returning

Easily our favourite spot in Tanjung Benoa and Nusa Dua. Traditional Balinese cooked and presented with class. Every dish was delicious and we found ourselves going back multiple times. The staff is so friendly and welcoming--you feel it the moment you walk in and the entire staff in unison welcomes you with their greeting. Make sure you make the effort to try this place at least once if you're anywhere nearby--I'm certain you will love it.

Their foods were tasty but if they also serve bbq sauce for the pork ribs it would be great. Since you can only sit outside, the noise from the cars is loud, and their kitchen is open, so smoke spreads everywhere. Lastly, excellent service.

This place is a must if you are in Nusa Dua. The staff are attentive, friendly and very welcoming. The venue is clean and spacious with a chilled atmosphere. The food is incredible - taste, presentation, quality and serving size is very generous. I loved the vegetarian/vegan food. So yum and lots of variety. It was my birthday and they surprised me with complimentary deserts and fruits, as well as singing happy birthday. This was an incredible experience.

Perfect place to entertain foreigner guests and to indulge yourself with indigenous delicacy. There are vast variety of menu is available and you can taste most of it if you choose the "package menu". My favorite is of course the fish sate lilit. I actually came here two days in a row and still wanted to come here for more. The service is splendid as the waiters are very friendly. The ambience is also relaxing and very clean. Payment can be made by hard cash, Qris, debit and credit card.
