Bummz Beach Cafe

You could easily pass right by this little place and not even see it. The food is a step up pub style meets sports bar menu with everything from Salads to steak to shrimp tacos. Really impressed with friendly service and relaxed and friendly staff. Definitely a great place for a quick meal that won’t break the bank and quite tasty eats

Beautiful beachfront bar and restaurant with plenty of outdoor (and indoor) seating and live singers. Try the Buffalo shrimp! In the summer, it's a real joy to come here because they often have local singers performing or karaoke and you can sit outside and enjoy the ocean, the people and the food all at once. It's good in the colder months too. Great food, great place.

I gotta give them 5 stars on everything. Looking from the outside of the place I will say don’t judge a book by its cover! You walk inside you can eat inside, outside, or in between (inside patio). They also have a chill spot where you can sit/swing after eating and look at the beach! Everyone was super friendly! The food was great. Services was great. Prices were great! I’m very blunt, so rarely do I give a place 5 stars on everything but they hit every mark. Also you get a free picture! It was super cute. Great place to eat and make memories.

Very thoughtful for people with kids, the swings are a nice touch. The food I thought would be better tbh,my husband got the philly cheese steak & I got the chicken cheese philly,.with corn on the cob, it's half of an ear of corn & it's not very sweet, it's a little dry, you have to ask for butter. Pretty broad menu, I would only go if you want to get a quick beer to get the night started.

Cool Beach Bar right next to the sand. This was my first visit to Bummz and I will certainly return. On the spur of the moment we decided to go out for a casual burger. We ended up at Bummz and had an enjoyable time. The bar is in a pretty cool location. There are large resorts all around it so I felt like I found a little island oasis. There were a lot of empty parking spots. I parked in a city metered spot right across the street. However, this was an off season time of the year. There are parking spots and parking garages all around so parking shouldn’t be an issue as long as you follow the signs. Just don’t park in a private lot unless you paid to park in it. When entering the building it is a nice open bar/restaurant area with a bunch of seating. Then a glass wall and on the other side of the wall is another large area and another but smaller bar. These rooms have a removable wall so when the weather is nice it’s like sitting outside. Beyond that is a pretty big patio area with palm trees, hanging lights, and a lot of seating. This then leads directly onto the beach. So basically the entire place looks out over the ocean. We grabbed a table and within a few minutes had drinks in our hands. It’s a simple burger menu with some chicken and seafood choices. They also have a kids menu. We both had burgers with Bummz home made potato chips. Everything was good, the custom chips were a nice change from fries. The burgers were pretty big, definitely plenty to eat. However, they were a little over cooked which seems to be a common occurrence with meat around Myrtle Beach. I guess they like their meat done in the south. I also had a side of coleslaw that was plenty enough for two people, it also tasted better than the average coleslaw that I’ve come across in MB. We were able to hang out, talk, eat, and drink right on the ocean for as long as we desired, it was a good time. To top it all off the meal was very reasonably priced. I truly enjoyed my time at Bummz. It’s good sometimes to just hang out at the ocean without the problems of the world.

Our waiter was super helpful and nice but the food is mediocre. I had a burger and the hubby had the meatloaf sandwich. Maybe because it was late at night why the food was not so great but sitting outside was cool. The ambience is gorgeous.

Good food, good service and reasonable prices on the beach! My boyfriend enjoyed the clam chowder and hot boiled shrimp dusted with Old Bay seasoning. I liked the fish tacos which had a simple dressing but it was good. The menu had a variety of beach Cocktails including a mule with ginger beer.

We stopped by Bummz in Myrtle Beach after a round of golf and really enjoyed the experience. The waterfront setting is beautiful, and the live music added a fun, laid-back vibe that made the evening even better. While the food was tasty and the atmosphere was fantastic, I was a bit disappointed with the limited vegetarian options, especially since I’m currently avoiding fried food and meat (there were no options for veggie patty sandwiches). So I was excited to see corn on the cob on the menu, but was surprised when it came out as just 1/3 of a cob for $5. I asked the waiter about it, and to their credit, they brought me another 1/3, which I appreciated. Still, it would have been nice if the menu clarified the portion size upfront. That said, the service was kind, the place has great energy, and I’d return—just maybe with slightly adjusted expectations on the sides!
