It’s a must-try! The bun cha, with its smoky grilled pork patties and belly on bamboo skewers, was bursting with flavor, especially with the betel leaf twist. The dipping sauce hit all the right sweet-sour notes, and the nem cua be (crab spring rolls) were crispy perfection. Fresh herbs and vermicelli tied it all together. The lively street-food vibe, with tiny stools and friendly service, made it authentic and fun. Super affordable at ~50,000-75,000 VND. 5 stars for this Hanoi gem!

Running parallel to the train track is this Bún chả shop which serves a decent Bún chả at 70,000đ a bowl. Very generous with their meat portions. Unfortunately they ran out of their fried spring rolls. The Bún was smooth and the meat slices were not dry but the soup was slightly sweeter than other places.

This is an authentic Hanoi-style bun cha restaurant. The grilled pork is fragrant and delicious, and the crab spring rolls (nem cua bể) are excellent. The prices are also very reasonable.

This was the first time I tried Bún Cha in the streets of Hanoi and this local food place really set the bar high. The Bún Cha was definitely the highlight but the spring rolls were also tasty and amazing. For someone who tasted Bún Cha for the first time, their version was like an explosion of flavors in the mouth. It was very satisfying and heart-warming. Their spring rolls were very crispy on the outside yet moist and tasty inside. That was probably one of the best spring rolls I had in Vietnam. There was a mix of locals and foreigners during the time that we visited but we were given a table right away. Service was also quite fast and the owners seem quite happy that we took our chances there as we have the looks of newbies in the area. Overall, it was an authentic and very rewarding experience.

The price is a bit high for a serving of bún chả, and the place is crowded and the staff can be a little grumpy. It's worth trying at least once, though.

Don’t expect amazing service but do expect one of the best meals of your life. This was by far the best food I had in all of Hanoi and it was also the cheapest.

For anyone looking for bun cha or haven’t tried it yet and is curious what it is. It is a bowl of grilled pork patty and bacon with this sweet soup which acts as a dipping sauce. You eat it with noodles and veggies dip together. It is a Hanoi classic. I highly recommend this restaurant after being to multiple stores across Vietnam. The meat is grilled to perfection. They open at 10:30 am.

One of the best bun cha I've had while in Ha Noi. Right amount of sweet and savory, spring rolls were delicious, and you can tell the locals also love it. Highly recommend!
