Stepping into Bunaphile is like entering a cozy haven. The decor is impeccable, with soft lighting, plush seating, and carefully curated artwork. It's the kind of place where you can imagine spending hours lost in a good book. Unfortunately, the experience doesn't quite live up to the ambiance.
While the atmosphere is enchanting, the food falls short. The dishes are visually appealing but lack depth and flavor. The textures are often inconsistent, and the overall quality feels underwhelming. It's a disappointing contrast to the stylish surroundings.
The mutton in our platter was undercooked, the prawns were stale to put it politely, the coffee’s were okay nothing to wow about.
To make matters worse, the service is painfully slow. Even on a relatively quiet day, it took an eternity for our orders to arrive. The waitstaff was polite but seemed overwhelmed, and there was a noticeable lack of attention to detail.
Overall, Bunaphile offers a beautiful setting that is hard to resist. However, the subpar food and slow service ultimately detract from the experience. While it might be worth a visit for a drink or a casual chat, don't expect a memorable culinary experience.
