Bunca Barista & Caterer

Sat outdoors. Not super cozy, considering the construction work going on & quite dull street. The iced latte was great. Rich flavour. Nice espresso base with low acidity and tones of dark chocolate. The pasteis de nata was soft all through, including the pie crust. Sweet. The texture of the filling was a bit curdly.

Very popular and bustling cafe. Coffee was good. Espresso was a darker traditional Italian-style roast with nutty and dark chocolate notes.

I know no other café in Frankfurt, which makes a cappuccino as great as theirs. They always have the nicest staff, the waiting times are always pretty short, even when it’s busy and the music inside the store fits perfectly to the vibe. There isn’t always a free table, but they got plenty of space to sit or stand (when it’s not one of the busiest hours). The red wine cake and the banana cake are both great, sometimes a bit too dry but the taste is awesome! I can only recommend a visit here for a small coffee break!!

Lovely atmosphere and lovely people. The drinks could use some improvements though, as the filter coffee is a tad too watery.

I took cortado and it was good (also quite popular, barista was making four cortado in a row:)), but the seating situation is not very comfortable.

The coffee tastes just like other coffee shops imo (I’m not an expert 😅), but it’s very fairly priced, especially if you consider the location. The place is tiny and it gets very full during rush hour, don’t expect to get a seat here. Unfortunately their lemon cake is way too dry—it was crumbly. The taste of the cake is excellent, but the frosting was too sweet. Maybe we just got unlucky.

Great coffe :) also the power ball energy was super tasty :)
