I took the instructor Caitlin's class and she takes too long to explain things every round. Either my heart rate is dropping in between rounds waiting for us to start or she has us on the stairs for 10 min (for a round that is supposed to be shorter than 10 min) because her demo's take too long because she keeps talking -- gotta be more efficient girly! Also the upper body classes are a bit underwhelming - it would be great if every upper body main move included a weight. The walkout to planks are good for a warm-up but shouldn't be a main move.

Chelsea Broussard

Google
Been going for years. Love the workout! My favorite (and the most challenging class in my opinion) is there full body class! I wish it was offered on Saturdays and Glutecamp was offered on Sundays since no weights are used but just my preference!

Julia Usiak

Google
This location loves a rule for rule’s sake. Makes you pay for bands that are used in class on top of the cost to book the class. Name one other workout class in LA that makes you pay for the bands you need to participate (I’ll wait). It’s like paying for the weights lol. Just price your class accordingly. If you’re 1 minute late they make you wait 10 minutes to enter for “safety” which makes no sense — people are moving around all class, just let people hop on a stair master instead of lecturing them. So, showed up 30 seconds late, heard the start of class but had to miss 5/6 of the class I paid for, and then had to pay for the bands.

Nina Armstrong

Google
The policy of needing to buy their branded bands instead of using your own that you have with you is so extremely wasteful and normalizes the culture of mindless consumption that is destroying our planet and environment. So extremely disappointing for a company serving a city that’s so vulnerable to the effects of climate change (fires, drought). I hope they reconsider and put sustainability and what’s best for their customers ahead of egregiously greedy corporate profits.

Google
The funniest concept I’ve seen all day: make people rent plastic bands that literally should be free and part of the $38 class fee. Nasty floor fans blowing dirty air in your face because they can’t spend a dime to get proper ventilation in the studio. This place started out great. I was one of the first people to go here when they reopened in 2021. On my last class they had a floor fan on the highest setting pointed towards me, I asked to turn it off or away and the front desk girl was chewing her food and told me it’a policy for the fans to stay on… then they moved me to an already taken station and at that point I left. I emailed the management and they literally left me on read. This is when you know a business scaled too fast and it’s going down. From having people rent what should be included to ignoring the fact that they should not be using mechanical fans to ventilate…. Byeeeed

Ellie Suh

Google
The front desk attitude is off putting and condescending. My friend and I were looking forward to trying the place. You are supposed to get there 15 minutes early. We got there 10 minutes early instead, so we were a little late (that was our bad on our part). But goodness, no need with the attitude.Weird policy though - front desk makes it seem like the format is more intricate than it actually is lol. I’ll try other locations but yea fair warning. If you’re looking for a studio with a friendly front desk, you may want to check out elsewhere if that’s more your vibe. Pro - there’s parking on the rooftop of the building.

I’ve been coming to Bunda for a year and a half and finally switched from classpass to a membership earlier this year! I’m so happy with my decision. Their programs are a perfect mix of cardio and strength training. They focus on form over speed and I love that! All of the trainers are super engaging and motivating. I’ve tried different workout classes in LA and this is by far my favorite and it’s the only workout I do. It’s become a part of my little community and I look forward to “me” time at Bunda every day. I sometimes bring my husband as a guest and he loves the program too (yay for Bunda boys)! Bunda has seriously improved my physical health, mental health, and confidence!

I absolutely love Bunda. The coaches are amazing all of the staff are so kind and helpful. Plus your going to get the best work out of your life.

Yelp
If you're a woman and feel comfortable working out in spaces that are more geared towards women, then you might be interested in Bünda. That being said, men are welcome to work out here too I believe but know that this caters to women in the aesthetics and details. They have a cool system where they alternate days when you work out different parts of your body (I.e. Weds are for butt and legs, Thurs is for arms and abs). I like this concept because it helps exercise all parts your body and give each area a proper rest. Butt and thighs days involve alternating between floor work and using the stairmaster. I enjoyed the floor work but the stairmaster portion is a little too much for me when we have to rotate to the left and right. Definitely see the benefits of it, it's not just not something I'm comfortable with yet. But you definitely get an excellent workout coming here. Was sweating profusely midway through the class.

Yelp
I had a great experience at Bunda! It was challenging, but I felt greats overall after each session I attended. I got the 3 classes for $10 trial bundle when my friend referred me. It was a great deal so I had to take it up! Walking in each time, the staff was super welcoming and friendly. They gave me a tour, a rundown of how everything works, and were overall engaging and positive which I appreciated. It helped because I'm usually tense in new experiences like this. The facility itself was nice as well! They had nice bathrooms with lots of amenities like face wash and changing rooms. I also liked the active room as well. It was organized in a way to allow for efficient workouts. The lighting and music also created a fun and lively ambiance. All the classes I took were great as a whole. The instructors were very helpful and engaging. I also like the variety of the workouts from the strength training on the floor to the stair masters themselves. I would definitely consider become a regular if I lived closer.

Yelp
i've been a member at bünda for 1 year now, and it's been a total game changer! i originally joined after taking a class with my previous trainer and friend, jules--fell in love instantly. and let me be clear: i hate working out. i've never been the type to enjoy it; the thought alone used to make me cringe. that's exactly why bünda works for me--a structured class that tells me what to do, how to do it, and keeps me accountable. this community has done all that and more. it's made fitness part of my lifestyle. i actually look forward to class now (who am i?!) because i get to be part of a community of bad ass fellow bundis. and the results? unreal. at 30 years old, i'm in the best shape of my life. i've had to buy a whole new wardrobe because i've never been this small, this fit, or felt this confident. and of course, i'm always rocking my bünda merch with pride! thank you, bünda, for the little waist, strong legs, and big but powerful bünda ;) i love my coaches, i love this workout, and i tell everyone i know to try it. trust me--you'll fall in love too!

Yelp
I love coming here! The workout is challenging but you are encouraged to challenge yourself to see change, so it keeps you going. I've been going for 2 weeks now consistently and have tried each class. My favorite is Wednesday's on legs and glutes day and I always leave feeling great. I'm able to come back the next day and do arms & abs to balance my workout. It's a lot of fun, a great workout, and the time goes by fast.

Yelp
This location just kicked me out of a class I paid for because I was 2 minutes late. They gave my spot away within 2 minutes. I drove 25 minutes in traffic to get here, and I have been training at Bunda for almost 2 years now. I've spent so much money with this studio. I am so offended and upset by this. I even signed up to be a founding member of the new Studio City location and this is how they treat their loyal customers. I will not be returning to this location again. You lost a very dedicated Bundi. Sad day.

Yelp
Took a class recently, didn't really feel that much of a burn/sweat. All things you can do at a gym. Going back to my reformer Pilates. Annoying and super loud music.
google avatar

Lexi T.

Yelp
I love Bunda so much! The different classes are all great, but I personally love the GluteCamp on Saturdays! I've noticed a huge difference in my whole body from the diversity of the classes and movements. The music is awesome too, and it feels like a little community!

Yelp
I can not recommend Bunda enough It wasn't till I started going that I started to see results . I go 2-3 times a week. All the trainers are amazing and truly look out for everyone working out to giving them heavier weight to correcting our form. And the New Remodel Love It. Do yourself a favor in 2024 "GO TO BUNDA" your body will love you for it

Yelp
Definitely recommend!! Started just over two months ago and love it! Overall a fit person, but had fallen off a regular routine for the last year. It was a humbling experience to get started again but instructors and fellow class members have been so encouraging and helpful. Getting stronger and more confident with every class. Especially love Alex and Sophie's classes because they make sure my form is right... which I really appreciate as I want to get that down before adding significant weight. Hard work but also fun!!

Yelp
I live in New York, and everytime I come visit LA I always make sure to visit Bunda! I love these workouts because it's booty focused! I especially enjoy the weight training portion of the class. Before you go, good to know: - There is a water station for you to always keep hydrated. - Some classes require an ankle strap and elastic band. If it's your first time they will let you use it for free or you can rent it for a few bucks. - Free parking on the roof! - Come early!! If you are late you might not be able to join the first round of the workout. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
I really enjoy these workouts at Bunda. They are targeted and quick and perfect for a busy mom like myself. The instructors are knowledgeable and super friendly and play the best music. The space is clean and organized and stacked with weights and all the equipment you need. The front desk ladies are so professional and available for any inquiries I may have. Free parking is also major draw along with the convenience of many classes offered throughout the day. I am not super young anymore but there are all ages and all types working out along side me ! Will be in my workout repertoire for the foreseeable future. A must :)

Dean M.

Yelp
The trainers are fantastic! And Katelyn is absolutely amazing. Katelyn made sure to take me through the rundown of my first class and did so in a way that made me feel really comfortable and excited to take the class (and come back three times). I was only in town for a week so I thanked Katelyn on my way out of my 4th class and thought that'd be it. But Katelyn followed up and thanked me and let me know if I have any questions during future visits to not hesitate to reach out. It was the kindest thing ever. Katelyn is the real deal and made my experience at Bunda the best it could be!

Yelp
Bunda is definitely a vibe. I found a Bunda on ClassPass and took a glute class. It's dark and pink inside, a dark girly ambiance. The instructor was really nice and explained to me how class would work. It's a mix of glute exercises with bands and light equipment and then the stair master. The class is split between floor and stairs and the instructor gives exercises to both groups at the same time. I love that they don't allow phones on the workout floor. It's great to really get into your sweat without worrying about being caught on someone's camera. My only con is that the training is quite simple and I felt like these were basic movements I could do at home and my community gym. Overall, it's a good class with good vibes and great for beginners.

Yelp
Do I have a better booty after almost a year of hard work at Bünda? Abso-freaking-glutely. But my perky peach is just the icing on the "cake cake cake cake" because honestly, I'm stronger overall. I think the core of Bünda is actually strength training fundamentals and that has completely changed the way I work out. I've always been into fitness and "in shape" but never cared for - or understood - strength training/weights. With Bünda, I'm building muscle and knowledge and completely addicted to it all. I go 6-7x a week (extreme, I know) but I am constantly learning and the weekly schedule allows for enough variation (upper body, lower body, total). And as much as we may collectively hate the stairmaster, it's such a great low-impact way to mix-in cardio while simultaneously engaging that precious booty. If you show up willing to challenge yourself in each class, the results will follow. Like I said, my Bünda has never looked better (and I'm in my 40's). Shoutout to the awesome & supportive instructors... and team AKA!

Yelp
Before I got pregnant, i used to love cardio and HIIT exercises but after I gave birth and gained a lot from pregnancy, it was so hard for me to go back to fitness lifestyle but Bunda helped me a lot. Trainers are very knowledgeable and efficient here. Besides from it is backed up by science, trainers make sure form is correct to get better / best results. I like this studio better than woodland cause of its staff and they have changing rooms.

Yelp
Bunda is quickly becoming my favorite spot to workout! When you step into the space you can tell it's one of those spots where a lot of people put in a lot of work there day by day. Idk how to explain it, you can just feel it. I especially love that they do set programs on each day of the week, it helps me feel consistent knowing I could go at any time of the day and it will be the same workout - i.e. I'm not going to miss Glutecamp if I can't hit my normal 9am class. I also like that you can control your own level of intensity by adjusting Stairmaster levels and weights so I can adjust to my fluctuating hormonal cycles. Lastly, the instructors have all been very knowledgeable and upfront with providing adjustments. It really feels like they're keeping an eye out for you! Thank you Bunda

Yelp
I had incredible experience at Bunda in West Hollywood! The desk staff was so genuinely friendly and helpful, and the coach wanted to make sure I felt as comfortable as possible during the class. It's a great mix between cardio and strain training, and switching back-and-forth keeps it interesting! No one felt like they were judging, and it truly Seemed like we were all in it together! Even if you're hesitant or nervous to try, just take the first step by booking a class and going in! Not only will you not regret it, you will feel amazing and unstoppable!

Molly C.

Yelp
I am a San Diego gal who frequents Los Angeles. Bunda on 3rd is always on the to-do list when I visit. The environment is welcoming and the instructors are helpful in providing guidance on form. Bunda is an enjoyable fast paced workout that builds a better body all while listening to good jams. Highly recommend!

Jeraldine A.

Yelp
Bunda is one of my favorite workouts in LA! I suggest to always arrive 10-15 minutes before your class starts so you can get set up. Once you walk in, you'll check in to the front desk. If it's your first time you'll need to sign a waiver to ensure safety! Inside there are cubbies to put your stuff in prior to class start. You will have a number where you're stationed for the entire class, starting on the stair master or the floor with weights. Then every 7 minutes or so you switch to the other station, making in total 3 sets on stair master and 3 sets on the floor with weights. Music is always great. Mix of different genres to get your heart bumping (hip hop, pop, edm, all of the above)! The instructions are so fun with energy and will help fix form if needed. Each time on the floor the instructor will demonstrate the moves and count you down with a time or let you know how many reps. Overall highly recommend if you're looking to learn strength training and have a mix of cardio! I always come out of the class feeling like I really worked out, motivated, and excited to take on the rest of the day!

Yelp
The stair master is my least favorite machine at the gym but Bunda made it fun. Between being able to rotate between that and weights, the great music and energetic instructor this class was challenging yet a breeze. I would definitely go bacon
google avatar

Alejandra P.

Yelp
Bunda is not only a studio/gym, but also a community. Instructors and staff make the effort to remember people's names, and really seem to care about you and your progress. They try to get to know you if you let them! I've tried most of the instructors by now, and all of them have something unique/special they bring to each class. The playlists are so fun- especially important on those Stairmaster pushes- music makes me feel like I am on my very own catwalk. I've been coming here regularly for about 6 months- started just once or twice a week (I saw it as my "fun" weekly workout), complementing with my own training the remaining days. However, a couple of months later I had a very busy schedule and saw myself skipping more and more of my workouts, so I decided to sign up for their monthly "Journey" membership, which I completed for 2 months. Did daily 6/7AM classes Mon-Sat (25/30), and this helped me stay on track and feel strong! Now that I'm back on track, I'm coming to 2-3 classes per week just because I love it so much: the music, the people, and the instructors. The Stairmaster is the best cardio workout out there, and training your lower body will get you the most results! As someone who has always felt more comfortable with Lower Body training, I've appreciated the Total Body "Ruftop" classes to practice form on upper body/ core exercises as well. I appreciate how instructors are on the lookout to correct form and are always open to questions!!! Bunda feels like family and I always felt welcome from day one. I always rave about it to my friends and have brought a few with me, even my husband attended a Ruftop class with me recently and enjoyed it.

Yelp
I walked place this place multiple times while pregnant dieing to try it out once I had the baby and was able to get back in a routine! Sure enough it was worth the wait and got me back into amazing shape!! The classes are so fun! Music is so good and all the instructors are very motivating and thorough! I had a girls trip coming up when my baby was 5 months and it had me feeling confident for my first weekend away !! Especially with all non mommys !! My daughter is now a year and a half and it's my favorite me time activity!! It's such a great workout !! U won't regret it

Ariana E.

Yelp
Music isn't great in my opinion. it's hard to feel motivated because of the pop music. feels a lot corny. Also the customer service is not that great. they are friendly but not sincere sounding. Even if you call to cancel for being sick if it's last minute they still charge 15 dollars on an unlimited membership. They find ways to keep charging on a membership that's extremely expensive and for that should have more amenities. Tried to cancel my membership 3 weeks in advance and they still wanted to charge for another month because it wasn't the full 30 days... just feels very commercial but again it's LA

Priscilla Q.

Yelp
This class kicks my a** in the best way EVERY TIME. I always leave feeling tired but STRONG. My fav teacher is Casey Johnson, love her music :)

Yelp
4.5*** Where to begin with Bunda. Bunda helped me during quarantine while everyone was gaining weight I was losing it. I received so many compliments from friends on my appearance. I felt super good and challenged. i think if you're a beginner or gym shy this place is awesome. I had a membership for 3 months and while it was amazing the reason I can't do 5 stars and lost some motivation to come is the music for me just doesn't do it. i'm not a huge cardio person so when i'm on the stair master, I need pump, i need bass, I need some good hip hop or intense house/edm or even some pump from the new instructors and it's not giving that. I sometimes wish i could wear my own headphones. the music is too pop-y and man eater by nelly furtado is not cutting it. Kourtnie & Ray have a really good playlist and I wish she had more morning classes. it's beginner friendly because sometimes they make the whole class do moves together and sometimes without weight or pause the class to show you how to do the move when it would be more beneficial if they just helped the individuals who are new or struggling. if you're considering Bunda and new I would do Katie's class, she's instructing the class the entire time and while I think that's amazing I find myself losing motivation because once again I can't hear music or I'm losing the pump. they do encourage you to lift and to lift heavy. They have good range of weights the only thing is if you level up with the sand bags you have to put a ton of them on + weights and I honestly don't know how some are holding onto it all while having support for their neck. They started off charging for cuffs & knee pads if you're paying $250+ a month that's a lot if you're not getting the amenities. There's no showers etc so that's a bummer. I believe knee pads are at the stations but instead of having two towels like before it's cut down to one so now you're wiping sweat and disinfect on the same towel. There's free parking in the parking garage I think the top level is for bunda as the middle level is always cut off with cones. There's a water station so that's nice. The girls at the front are welcoming. All in all, bunda is great. If you put in the work like they say you'll see amazing results.

Nicole E.

Yelp
I really like this place, the workout I get from it and the result.... obsessed actually....BUT i got charged for a "no show" on an unlimited class package. It doesnt make sense. If this keeps on going I wont be coming back even though I love Bunda workouts sooo much! :/ Disappointing.

Janiya S.

Yelp
The best most challenging workout class ever. I fell in love with it immediately. Most of the times it's all women which is also so empowering and everyone is always so welcoming and they always have great playlists!

Noah M.

Yelp
I've been coming here for the past 5 years and I've seen the craziest transformation in my body. Not only are the instructors great but the staff is so warm as well.

Erica K.

Yelp
BEST WORKOUT EVER AND BEST TEACHERS !!! Overall 100/10 I've been doing bunda since they opened and I'm still in love with this workout.

Yelp
I just tried Bünda's rooftop workout for the first time and had a pretty good experience. They had stations set up spaced apart, with a knee pad, towel and a small bottle of water, which was much appreciated. The workout focused on the heavy drop lunge and glute bridges on the day I went. The instructor was pretty good and energetic and showed and explained each exercise well. We went through the same four exercises over and over - I do like a little more variety but I can see that others may like the repetition. As for cleaning, a saw someone with a large tank and sprayer give a quick cursory spray on top of all the used dumbbells... I would prefer a more thorough cleaning myself, around the whole handle. It might be preferable to use a wet wipe to wipe your own dumbbells.

Kylie R.

Yelp
I've been working out at Bunda for over a year and it's by far my favorite workout class in LA. I drive 25-35 minutes 3x a weeek for it so you know it's good. I've never seen such a drastic change in my body till I came here. 10/10.

Yelp
Bunda I absolutely love you and actually addicted to you , but some of my bunda mates please use your deodorant, there has been few times I almost fainted from the terrible BO or felt nauseous and it absolutely ruined my workout experience there is two bathrooms with provided FREEEEEEEE amazing body sprays please FGS use it

Stephanie G.

Yelp
I LOVE BUNDA!! I have gone to Bunda for several years and the studio is always so welcoming! The workouts are the best and I love that they focus on form first! 5 stars :)

Shana R.

Yelp
The instructors and classes at Bunda are great. The instructors are very motivated in helping you and getting the best possible work out. I recommend the arms and abs class! They also provide theraguns before and after classes which is a plus! Parking is also convenient on the roof top

Kayla R.

Yelp
I come to Bunda at least three times a week. I've seen amazing results in my body. All of the classes are great but I recommend the 4:30 with Ariana. And the new renovations make the studio really enjoyable to go to. 10/10!

Erin C.

Yelp
I can't say enough positive things about Bunda and the facility on 3rd. The facility is always clean, those working are always friendly, the instructors are outstanding, and the workout is effective. Since consistently going to Bunda, I've seen amazing results. I'd highly recommend to all.

Zoe H.

Yelp
I LOVE BÜNDA! Definitely my favorite workout class in Los Angeles. The instructors take the time to make sure you have every move down correctly but at the same time the format of the class makes it fly by. Definitely recommend for all levels.
google avatar

Sareena K.

Yelp
This is one of the best workout studios I have ever been to. The strength training philosophy really works to improve physique (build muscle and lose fat), the studio is spotless, the staff are friendly and flexible, the instructors are amazing, and I walk away feeling like a million bucks every time!

Kristina R.

Yelp
Classes go by fast with the switches between stairs and floor. The workout feels incredible. It's hard, but you walk out feeling stronger right away.
google avatar

Violy M.

Yelp
So you're looking to spice things up in your workout routine, ya needs to check out Bünda! I've only attended their rooftop classes and have a great time every session. The setup is spacious for everyone, plenty of weights for everyone. Just bring your yoga mat and a resistance band & you're good to go. The instructors are great, they explain the moves as you're going along. They play great music which makes the time go fast. It's a fun time getting your workout in. So book a class, arrive early to get a good spot, maybe I'll see you there one of these mornings. Your homegirl, Violy

Yelp
Bunda is the first gym I've ever been too that has given me actual results. I always have taken HIIT classes in the past and never saw changes in my body. They really focus on form here which helps prevent injuries. I've lost fat and gained muscle by lifting heavy. The instructors are fun, friendly and extremely knowledgable. Also met two of my good friends at this gym so absolutely recommend this place!!

Yelp
I've been going to Bunda since august 2022, and my body has completely transformed. The classes are challenging yet tolerable and enjoyable all in one. I highly recommend!

Sophia M.

Yelp
I am so glad I found BUNDA. They have incredible teachers that make working out a fun experience. I recommend BUNDA to anyone and everyone who is looking for a new workout spot.

Danielle H.

Yelp
best workout in LA!!! Love the Santa Monica location, teachers are all great and it's a very clean studio

Natalie L.

Yelp
Best workout class! I noticed so many results so quickly. The trainers always make sure your form is perfect they take the time to explain every move and make sure no one gets hurt! I 10/10 recommend it's amazing!!

Lizeth L.

Yelp
I stumbled upon Bunda randomly and have continued coming here for a year. Staff is friendly while checking in and it's nice that they get to know our names! Trainers are knowledgeable and kind! The new remodel of the studio is lovely. I try to come here at least three times a week!

Yelp
Stayed a night in LA for work, which means two things: 1. A night away from the kiddos 2. Trying a local workout class I found Bunda through a quick Yelp search and bought a first time special (2 classed for $30). It was reminiscent of Barry's with floor and cardio elements going on simultaneously. But rather than a tread mill it was a stair master, and rather than full body mat work it was all squats and glutes. I've done a fair bit of training in my fitness career and would consider myself well versed on proper technique on weight training. I think if you didn't know what you were doing this could be a tad precarious, and there isn't much hands on instruction. That said, it was an enjoyable workout class overall. Gets the heart rate pumping, gets you using important core, glute and lower body muscles and I enjoyed it. Wasn't really a fan of all the before/after pics everywhere, felt a little diet-culture-lame to me. Next time I stay nearby I will probably use my second class, but if I lived locally I probably wouldn't be a diehard regular. Thanks for a solid workout Bünda team!
google avatar

Kayla M.

Yelp
Absolutely love Bunda! I've never seen and felt so much of a difference from any single workout program before. I've definitely had growth in my glutes but my body is also more toned overall. Not only that, I feel so much stronger when I do other activities like tennis and Pilates. Highly recommend!

Valeria L.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible experience The front desk lady has zero Costemer service experience. Please find another studio where would welcome you with smile not with their attitude
