Bungalows Ballena

Our Place is spacious, full size kitchen and supplies included, stove with oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, pots, pans, dinner wear, coffee and coffee maker, rice cooker & a blender to juice all the wonderful fresh fruits here. Full size bathroom. Bedroom with closet and chest of drawers. Air conditioner in bedroom and also living area. Has a safe. Grocery stores, restaurants, beach and the whale's tail are all within easy walking distance. Especially love the swimming pool because it was clean and less chlorine. It has a slide and is fast for kids. Beautifully landscaped. Plus outdoor grill. Especially like using their wonderful laundry service. Staff is kind, caring and helpful.My husband loved the place and we extended our stay. Husband especially liked the place because it was across the street from Costa Rica Dive and Surf. (Great people there, ask for Lucy to dive with).

A really nice haven with large comfortable cabins around a good sized gorgeous pool in an attractive garden. Has two outdoor cooking areas each with a fully equipped gas BBQ. The bungalows have large well equipped kitchen / dining room areas. Very restful - we loved it here. It’s a good place to relax and recharge. The town is nice and, being mainly geared for day visitors, it’s fairly quiet at night. There’s a few birds around but no significant wildlife. There’s not a lot to do around here that’s free. We were very unimpressed by the Whale Tail national park. I don’t know how they can justify the admission charge. It has no facilities, just a long unattractive dark muddy sand beach with little shade. It didn’t help that it’s only accessible at low tide, which was 1 pm during our stay. Hence a really unpleasant long hot walk in the peak of the tropical heat to see some wet rocks! You can get in free after 5pm.

The bungalow was much more than we expected. It was very comfortable and quiet. I captured 20 birds in one hour on my bird app our first morning. It’s also very close to restaurants, shops and the beach. Excellent! Very clean and friendly. Great for multiple fam members.

Great location, close to supermarket, restaurants and ATMs. Some are walking distance. Service/staff are great. Place is wonderful full size kitchen supplies big fridge/freezer, full size bathroom, air conditioner and living area with a couch, grill and whales tail swimming pool (a fast slide). Also very close to Costa Rica Diving and Surf. Great place to learn Diving!

Bungalows are very big, big kitchen, nice beds. Also great outdoor space. |Great laundry service. Near park, beach, shops and restaurants. We saw a lot of birds in the area, that was also very nice. Quiet place to wake up. We will come back here.

We staid 2 nights here and all the bungalows are really beautiful and everything needed. The swimming pool is really nice and you have all the commodities in the bungalow. All the personnel is also really nice and it's really well located at Uvita. We highly recommend.

Beautiful place, very nice service. We spent our stay in the bungalow that were well equipped, large, very comfortable, and with air conditioning. We spent a total of 3 nights on our way from south to north. they also have a swimming pool with slide, that the kids loved
