"The Bungalows Key Largo is an all-inclusive, adults-only resort where you can take part in a variety of activities or just relax in a poolside cabana." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"But low-key, world class resorts abound throughout the Florida Keys, and include two noteworthy adults-only havens: Bungalows Key Largo."
"Offering private bungalows that come with your own veranda and an outdoor shower or soaking tub. Rates at Bungalows Key Largo include access to several pools and Jacuzzis, poolside cabanas, daily yoga classes, cruiser bikes, a courtesy car to take into town (based on availability), a fitness center featuring Peloton bikes, and most on-property dining (reservations at Bogie & Bacall's, its fine dining restaurant, require an extra fee)." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"Why did this hotel catch your attention? What’s the vibe? There are times in life when it’s great to be an adult, and Bungalows Key Largo is one of those reasons. Its 12 waterfront acres are a veritable surf and sand playground, but this adults-only resort means your mid-afternoon nap won’t be interrupted by mini meltdowns. What’s the backstory? Bungalows Key Largo was the hottest thing to hit the Keys in 2019, only to be devastated by a fire three months after opening. Like a phoenix, this resort rose from the ashes and is humming along. Tell us all about the accommodations. Any tips on what to book? As the name suggests, all of the accommodations here are bungalows, so there’s plenty of room for you and yours to stretch out and unwind. Waterfront bungalows have the better views, naturally, but all come with private verandas, soaking tubs, and outdoor showers. Inside, a soft gray palette keeps things especially soothing. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi? It’s included in the all-inclusive rate. Drinking and dining—what are we looking at? There are six bars and restaurants. Given the location, it’s no surprise that seafood dominates, but Sea Señor delivers the flavors of Mexico. The bars are especially intriguing—The Hemingway Bar channels his Key West home’s tropical flair. What type of travelers will you find here? It’s an all-inclusive but that doesn't mean you’ll get the rowdy bunch here. This is for couples who like to play as much as they like to party, and with plentiful water sports, yoga sessions, and a spa, there’s always something to do. What about the neighborhood? Does the hotel fit in, make itself part of the scene? From its serene guest bungalows to its Zen garden spa, this resort is a soothing departure from the kitsch of Key Largo. Any other hotel features worth noting? If you like piña coladas (who doesn’t?), then don’t miss the floating tiki boats. They’re more bar than boat, and look like mini tiki bars on floating platforms. Bottom line: Worth it? Why? Couples who play together, stay together." - Nancy DePalma
"With its toes-in-the-sand dining, palm-tree-lined beaches, and all-inclusive rate, you might think Bungalows Key Largo belongs on a Caribbean island. But you don’t need a passport to visit the only true adults-only, all-inclusive resort in the Florida Keys. Opened in 2019, the resort has 135 individual bungalows — each with its own outdoor rain shower and soaking tub — two pools, and seemingly endless places to sit back and soak up the sun, fruity cocktail in hand, of course." - Travel + Leisure Editors
