Bungalows papalus

Stayed at bungalows papalus for 10nights and really enjoyed it. It’s located on the out skirts of Lloret de Mar but still very close to all the beaches and shops. The bungalow was very clean and tidy with nice view. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. The bungalow it’s self was a two bedroom number with two single beds in each room. The beds are nice and comfortable. The kitchen is very basic but clean( but it is a self catering) so wasn’t expecting a five star room. It’s comes with pot and pans etc. The site it’s self is clean and the pool is connected to papalus restaurant which you can use from 10am till 6pm. The shops are just a 5-10 minute walk and the restaurants are a extra 5 minutes away as is fennel’s beach. Lloret beach is about a 20 min walk but very easy to get to. All in all me and the wife really enjoyed our stay there and have booked up again for next year. If you are wanting a nice relaxing holiday I would recommend bungalows papalus.

We booked a 2 bed bungalow based on the photos with own pool and well equipped living space . Asked for a double bed , not a chance , asked for an iron( was offered a burnt out one ) ,kettle , we don’t supply them . The chap in the office called this camping so very basic . Total understatement. |The pool was dirty and full of non residence as it seamed to be reserved for parties.|The restaurant staff in the main were good and food was ok but there are 2 people who do need to changed their attitudes to clients . |The bungalow was advertised with WiFi for 5€ per day and when we arrived it was €5 per device per day . Totally not what we bought as I have 2 devices ,the wife has 2 and sister in law has 2 so even with their special weekly rate of €15 would have meant €90 for WiFi ( massive rip off).|Whilst there the toilet flush didn’t work after a couple of days and had 3days of sorting it ourselves with buckets etc .|I suggest some off thes web sites doing business with these people need to visit them to really understand how bad they are .

Enjoyable 2 weeks. Site was clean and tidy. Pool was pleasant. Bungalow was clean and adequate and had a security alarm. Good to remember you get what you pay for - don't feel like we paid too much for what we got. Would consider staying again if returning to the area.

Bungalow very clean and reception staff nice friendly and helpful. Was very quiet when we went so restaurant not open nor was the pool bar (avoid end Sept/beg Oct). 10/15 min walk to local shop but a 30 minute walk to the town centre. Bungalows set right back off road and street lighting not working so very dark on complex had to use torch on phone. Had a nice quiet (we were only ones round pool) but would not go again.

Stayed here for a week because we got a cheap deal. Apartment nice and clean and staff were lovely and friendly but the apartments were in desperate need of refurbishment and decorating.||There was a pool bar that was closed and restaurant only opened twice in the week whilst we were there but these were for a private party. Most of the sun loungers cracked and need replacing.||I would stay here if you want a cheap deal in a quiet location with basic surroundings. 30 minutes from town centre which is nice for a walk if you are able bodied not good if you are not.

You do get what you pay for and for the money really can't complain. ||Site was clean and tidy.||Pool was nice. ||Bungalow was more than adequate. Lack of change of bedding and towels was a little disappointing however were available if asked for. Bungalows all have alarms.||Would consider going back if returning to the area.||Staff were helpful.

We stayed in the family bungalow with its own pool, although the polis small it's enough to cool down & there is the full sized pool available. It had own parking & is quite private with well established hedges.||Facilities are good with plenty of inside & outside seating but could do with better cooking utensils and maybe a small oven.||A few minuets walk for a couple of supermarkets and a really nice bar across the road that's very clean with good food.||For walking , running & Mtb the hills behind are perfect or the beach is 15 mins walk, lots of birds to see, we had a Hoopho visit every day , I did see grass snakes in the hills at the back but nothing dangerus.||All the staff are friendly & helpful, the Manager especially is helpful if you have any problems he is aprochable & will will solve any problems if he can.||The track to the bungalows is not good so low cars need to be careful, three years ago I did break the sump on my Audi A3 but I is better now.

So we booked via love holidays who stated that the bungalows come with there own pool, they don't! ||The pictures show all double beds, there is none!! ||||We saw huge rats running around||The pool is dirty and full of broken tiles||The pool bar is for decoration and never opened||Don't bother emailing with requests as we did for a cot as they don't reply||Reception is only open 9-6, which is not good when you arrive at 3am like us we were stranded with a 2 year old and no one answering the phone for over 45 minutes to be then told your key Is in the door of the room||No kettle||No iron ||No cooker||No toaster ||All sun loungers were broken||Outside our pool less patio was a 10-12ft drop with no railings to save my 2 year old son||Kids park was best part yet very shabby and again 12ft drop next to it with no railings and flight of flagstone steps straight off from it||Miles away from transfer pick up||Miles away from any bars or restaurants accept the one on site which only serves dinner from 8.30pm ||||If you bother coming bring trainers as very step and dirty ||Bring paddling pool as no usualbe or clean pool ||Bring a kitchen!!! ||Don't book her or with loveholidays they are useless
