Bunk Brisbane

I’ve traveled all around Australia and this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in! Great price, air conditioning, unlimited hot water with good pressure. The cleaning staff do an excellent job. The menu prices for guests are amazing (only $13). I’ve never eaten so cheap, so tasty and well served in Australia, and they even give you complimentary wine/beer with your meal!!! The receptionist from Colombia was very kind, with great customer service skills and excellent English and Spanish. I will definitely stay here again!

We really liked staying in that hostel. The room and the kitchen is very clean and everybody was super nice! Especially Kasey, Rich and Harvey gave us some really good tips for exploring the city and finding some jobs!

Kitchen and dorm is getting cleaned daily Kasey has done in the past funny trivia nights and she’s a helpful staff at the reception. —————— The hostel itself it feels cold and impersonal —————— This accommodation is missing one big thing, a place where you have a vibe of social live and liveability to get quick in connection with other peoples. In the lobby it doesn’t feels like this and the dining area is just for dining nothing for hang around.

Bunk is a great Hostel and I enjoyed staying here. The area around it is perfect if you’re looking for the nightlife but boards walk and cbd are also very close. Especially Rich, Harvey and Kasey are super nice and helpful with everything you have questions about! :)

Employees working the front desk are so kind and helpful!! Specifically a female worker who made sure my medications were safe. The rooms were kept clean overall. The public areas could use some updating not great for just hanging out Also no elevator to the entry which is not very accessible for all populations

It's a hostel with loads of overseas travelers in the Valley, which is open 24 hrs a day so... Can't say it was quiet. We had a private room with shower and ensuite so it was a little more quiet than shared dorms. |We were staying for a conference so we were only using room to sleep and prep for the day| All reception staff were lovely

Bunk is a really nice hostel and we enjoyed staying there. The rooms and kitchen are clean. Rich, Harvey and Kasey were really helpful at the reception and told us a lot about Brisbane. We would definitely recommend staying here!

I stayed here twice and my opinions are mixed. The mixed 6 bed dorm was completely filthy, smelly and very tight. Luckily the nice gal at reception allowed me to changed and said she would follow through with the people staying there who probably haven’t showered . I ended up staying in a spacious 4 mixed bedroom and had the best sleep. However now I stayed in a 4 person female and the noise is unbearable. There is no sound proof on floor 3, you hear the people in the hallway as if they are in the room and the worst is the noise if the doors opening and closing, every other minute when someone goes in or out of their room. The lock should be changed to a smoother one. Beds comfy, clean sheets. again the person at the reception was super nice so staff def great. I won’t be coming back because of the slamming locks until 1am on a Wednesday
