Quite interactive and interesting museum with a lot to read and see, I would say that it takes at least an hour to walk through. However, in my opinion the historical explanations along the walls were written quite plain, meaning that they were like reading an encyclopedia, as opposing to the interactive room where the texts were a lot more creative and story-telling. Something less good was the ventilation, as the air stood still inside the bunker where there were a lot of visitors and 39 degrees outside.

Great historical information. There is so much detail in the descriptions of events and timelines. It's all translated into English, which is much appreciated. The spaces are tight, but that adds to the effect of the place. It was very insightful for a foreigner that recently moved to Albania and is interested in learning the history of Albania.

Bunk’Art 2 is a gripping museum located in a real Cold War-era nuclear bunker beneath central Tirana. It’s not just history — it’s an experience. The exhibits on Albania’s secret police and surveillance state are powerful, haunting, and incredibly well-presented. Expect a sobering, emotional journey through a dark chapter of the country’s past. A must-visit if you want to truly understand Albania’s recent history.

This was an amazing place to visit to learn more about the history of Albania. You will ultimately end up spending about 2 hours to go through all of the museum. It's very interesting to learn about the country, communism, and the change over the past century. Definitely come visit!

Bunk'Art 2 was one of the places I definitely wanted to visit while planning our trip to Albania. I had read beforehand that the country has thousands of bunkers built during the communist regime, and I was really curious to understand more about that part of its history—especially since we also experienced communism in Czechoslovakia, although the public reactions and attitudes toward it seem quite different. (When we mentioned the topic to an Albanian man, his very defensive reaction actually made me even more curious.) The bunker itself was fascinating. It’s large, with many rooms, and every space includes historical information, photographs, installations, and even a few interactive elements. It felt immersive and very educational. There weren’t too many people there, so it was easy to move around and take time to read everything. Besides the historical value, it was also a nice escape from the city heat—the cool interior made it much more comfortable to explore. I honestly loved it and learned a lot; it gave me a much better understanding of Albania’s 20th-century history and how deeply the communist era shaped the country.

This place is super cool, though a bit dark, sad. But it’s super nice historic place. It’s definitely worth the price, which is around 10€ per person. It’s not great for claustrophobic people, as it gets crowded inside. Probably you can spend around 1 hour in here.

Nice place to see and understand of recent history of the country. Nice preserved bunker. I definitely recommend to visit this place. It is enriching. Only 1 thing which was not so pleasant - we met there 1 guide with big group of people. He was shouting to everybody that now his group is going and force everybody to stay...

a great insight into Albania's dark past. the bunker itself is both great and terrifying (because of its dark history), a monument to all the people that went in but never came out
