The culture here is great. Friendly staff and guests during my stay. My favorite of US hostels so far. Their backyard food truck garden is awesome on its own (recommend the pizza), but pairing it with the hostel makes it convenient and fun. This is a social hostel in an old house; you will hear noise and activity. There are events and people stay up late. Quiet hours are enforced about as well as visiting hours in a maternity ward (I.e. they are not). If that doesn’t appeal to you, stay in one of the many other motels or hotels in Bend. This is a good hostel. Some notes: there is only one bathroom on the second floor and a lot of rooms. However, there is a bathroom downstairs and an outbuilding with a bathroom and showers. Room was clean and as advertised. Good location, nice neighborhood.

So disgusting that I reported them to the health department (which I’ve never done before). Trust me, it was—called for. Horrible smell, blood on the bathroom floor, walls and floors *covered* in dust and gunk. Pillow so flat it could have been a pillow case. Can feel the wires through the mattress, which was sunk in. Horrible smell. Overall vibe = dumpy frat house. I have stayed in many hostels in the US & other countries. By FAR the worst. I’m putting it on my “Top 3 Beware US Hostels” blog.

The location was really good for walking downtown. The people were very accommodating and kind. As a solo traveling woman staying in the female only suite, I felt very safe. The beds were clean and tidy. I would definitely stay there again when in the area.

I stayed here with a student & research assistant while doing fieldwork at Newberry Volcano and I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I will absolutely be bringing Wichita State Geology back and using Bunk+Brew as a home base while in Bend from now on. The amenities are top-notch & Bunk+Brew has been the cleanest, friendliest hostel I've ever stayed at! The staff are wonderful people & you can tell they really love working there. Bunk+Brew has the best vibes & is a wonderful pillar of the Bend Community. I hope it is here for years to come, because it's a great home base for a budding volcanologist & a wonderful introduction for my students to how beautiful the people & places on the West Coast are!

Stayed in our camper van and didn't use the house much, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and the location felt secure. All one could ask for! Amazing spot for catching a show at the Domino room.

Google
Ain't what it used to be. Saturday off season- $140 for a tiny poorly decorated, shabby private room...with no bathroom & or television. Overall grungy bed buggy vibe. Sketchy parking situation. This place used to be kind of happening...has a cluttered boarding house vibe these days. Checkin was long and painful. We actually ended up canceling and going to another place after seeing the room.

Google
One of the coolest spots in town. Shout outs to the fantastic staff that make Bunk + Brew so special. Izzy, Jaz, Zack, Nix, Brodie, Violet, Yuri, Mark, Biwa, and I know I’m forgetting a few of the wonderful people who definitely deserve a beer.

Google
Had an awesome stay at Bunk + Brew! Big thanks to those working the front desk, Zach, Chris, Nyx, and Yurri for being super friendly. Trivia with Ian was a blast too! Bend Oregon is such a fun place, grateful I got to explore it!

Chris H.

Yelp
This is truly a special place nestled near the heart of downtown bend. This is an incredible value for the price. $40 gets ya a nice bunk in a co-ed dorm (4 to a room) access to on side 24 hour beer access with venmo pay system, a couple of food carts literally in the back yard!!! lol a commercial fridge and fully stocked kitchen including coffee/drip maker, grinders, and even a copper chemex! Inviting atmosphere and loyal clientele. Don't believe the reviews about it being exorbitantly loud. It had a louder energy of less than 20db till about 1045ish and then it was quiet as a church mouse (thursday night) - this is such a hidden gem and hope it continues to remain a ben's staple!

Amanda L.

Yelp
My friend and I made the mistake of booking a stay here. Based off of the website photos, the house seemed charming, but we were taken aback at the dingy, disheveled house when we arrived. Almost immediately upon walking in, another guest of the house (unintentionally) threw a ball at me that he was juggling, and I got the distinct vibe from there on that this wasn't a place where we would fit in. We were under the impression that we had a three bunk room to ourselves, but late that evening an employee barged into our locked room without knocking and announced a male guest would be staying there. I get that it's a dorm-style room, but as two women, it felt highly intrusive for two men to enter without first checking. What if we had been changing? If you don't value any personal privacy, this place might suit you fine. Not us, though.

Dre S.

Yelp
Loved my stay here. Great location and friendly folks. So cool that there are food trucks and you get a free beer token when you check in. The sauna could have been hotter, but I didn't even know there would be a sauna so I really can't complain.

Tony V.

Yelp
Safe, mostly quiet when it's times for bed, good Mexican food and pizza in the courtyard, fun activities, what's not to love? Yes, I recommend this hostel, if you're the communal type, and maybe even if you're the introvert that might just want to be left alone, the environment and space there allows for that too.

Robin S.

Yelp
I have no idea about the 'Bunk' part of the operation, but the 'Brew' part offers a chill spot to grab a beer and sit a bit. Maybe listen to live music (not sure of the hours and schedule for that though). Lots of varied seating arrangements - including comfy couches - around several fire pits. Limited tap selection according to the Bend standard but there's enough to offer something for most folks. Couple of food trucks on site (Sublime, Alebrije Oaxaca) and the Lucas House web page says Wonderland Chicken is coming soon.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Seemed charming, met cool people, had a nice sauna but over all was dingy, dirty, inadequate number of restrooms. I walked away thinking it was a kind of fun experience but then... BED BUGS! I know for a fact it was from here as the only other thing I did for the two weeks leading up to and week after was go here and go on bike rides. I made the mistake of wearing my pajamas I wore when I was here in my own bed at home without washing them... BIGEST MISTAKE OF MY ADULT LIFE. My house quickly became infested with bedbugs and had a quite expensive exterminator fee, not to mention the mental stress of having bed bugs at home.

Brian O.

Yelp
Awesome gem in downtown Bend. It's just outside of downtown and in a somewhat hidden area. You can stay here or just come hang out and have a beer outside. There is also currently 2 awesome food trucks and a small tap truck. This is one Bend's best kept secrets.

Chloe M.

Yelp
Cute, clean, and fun experience. There is some construction going on around them, but did not impact the experience. We were just in town for one night and loved staying here. Room was clean and comfortable (and surprisingly cool during a heat wave), as were bathrooms. Staff and other guests were nice and respectful. We spent Wednesday night and got to watch open mic night, with a few bands and local musicians jamming out. It was super fun to meet people and hang out. Would stay again.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Dirty and overcrowded I was looking forward to staying at Bunk and Brew in Bend but was disappointed with how dirty the facilities were. There were not enough bathrooms to accommodate the number of guests, the showers in the main house were covered in pink and black slime, the kitchen was dirty, the women's dorm was too small for the size of the bunk beds and the carpet in the room was disgusting. The facility was at times overrun with locals. Based on a posting on the sauna house door, the locals share the door codes and don't pay the day use fees. On the good side, I had a pleasant experience with the staff and I met some cool people. The sauna house was cleaner than the main house, and the outside seating made for a nice place to hang out. I sent an email to the management regarding my experience but to date have not heard back.

Yelp
From the moment I called and spoke with Matt I was so reassured we were in for an awesome experience. Matt was amazing and professional. When I asked for a private room with a private bathroom.. Matt explained that since they were a Historic Hotel the rooms did not contain private baths but were outside our rooms.. he went on to say that they offer a free beer and food truck in a sweet community gathering area and this amazing hotel more than made up for the bathroom with these and other fine features! Can't wait.. thank you MATT We are so excited & looking forward to our stay!

Barb C.

Yelp
Front desk was polite. Guard your belongings....I put a bracelet in my shoe while I was having a shower...when I came out it was gone@

Alan F.

Yelp
There's some great features about this Hostel. For example there are in-house food trucks on site. You also get a free beer when you arrive. Additionally, they offer three eggs and pancakes/waffle mix, which we definitely took advantage of the morning of our stay. However, the facilities were pretty rundown which made it not feel fresh/clean (though it certain was clean). As long as you don't mind noise, as the walls are pretty thin and we heard karaoke singers until midnight, this place is worth the price point

Hunter M.

Yelp
The experience here is incomparable. With great food, fire pits, a sauna and live music right in the backyard there is quite literally nothing else you would need here. BUT-- you also get an incredible sense of community with the employees and your bunkmates! After my experience here I will definitely be returning and bringing friends along with me. If you need a place to crash in Bend, here's an affordable and authentic experience waiting for you with open arms.

Pablo M.

Yelp
I traveled alone to Bend and needed a place to stay for four days near Downtown Bend. This was a solid option. I was so glad that I chose to stay here. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Frankie, and he gave me a tour of the place and free drink (everyone gets a free drink if they want). Downtown Bend is just walking distance from the hostel. I was able to explore the coffee shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, landmarks in four days. Everyone at the hostel, that was staying, was very friendly. Frankie made me try a corn dog for the first time at M & J Tavern (only $1.50)! He was very helpful throughout the four days, always gave me solid tips, and a great guy to hang out outside of the hostel too. Sydney was also pretty awesome. She is very hard working and very friendly. She also gave me tips as well, and I hanged out with both Frankie and Sydney on my last night in town. Andy was also great. He was the first person I hanged out with in Bend (aside from my friend whom I visited). Without Andy, I probably would have missed out on how to experience Bend properly. This hostel is a solid choice, stay here, you will not regret it. I made like 15 new friends in this hostel in just four days. Looking forward to the next time I visit Bend. PS: I have friends who are girls and travel alone and sometimes are a bit afraid of doing hostels. This is a perfect hostel for you! Both men and women stay, and everyone is very friendly.

Yelp
I have stayed in many hostels around the world, so I know what to expect from a hostel experience. I didn't expect privacy or silence. This hostel still fell short of my expectations, especially for the high price. There were a few good things about this hostel. It was in a good location and it was easy to walk to downtown. The facilities were clean enough and the temperature in the rooms was comfortable. It was nice to get a free beer upon our arrival, and the food trucks were conveniently located outside. However, the bad outweighed the good at this hostel. Here are some of the issues my friend and I had: 1) There are not enough bathrooms for the number of guests. There was almost always a line for the bathroom. I haven't encountered so few bathrooms at any hostel before. 2) It was loud at all hours of the night, despite "quiet hours" supposedly starting at 11pm. Obviously I expected to hear people coming home from bars or going in and out of their rooms-- but the staff blasting Taylor Swift downstairs or people starting a sing-a-long at 1am? It seemed like the staff was encouraging and participating in this rather than telling people to quiet down. 3) There were constantly people everywhere who were not guests of the hostel. This feels unsafe and awkward, and puts further strain on the limited facilities (e.g. bathrooms and kitchen). 4) Staff was rude and unfriendly towards everyone except their friends, who seemed to always be hanging around. I can appreciate a laid-back atmosphere, but this crossed the line into unprofessionalism. 5) The beds were uncomfortable and squeaky, and the rooms were small. I stayed in a 4 person dorm and I could not grab something under the bed without bumping into the sleeping person in the next bed. This hostel crammed 4 beds into a room that clearly wasn't big enough for them. 6) This hostel was incredibly expensive for what we got. At comparably priced hostels (in equally expensive cities), there has been breakfast/coffee offered (yes, here you can make it yourself but that isn't really helpful when the kitchen is constantly mobbed), more comfortable beds, relative quiet, and more spacious rooms. If you are friends with the staff at this hostel or staying in town long enough to become friends, I can see how this would be a fun place to stay. However, if you are just looking for a place to stay while visiting Bend, I would not recommend it.

Mulska R.

Yelp
It seems that the staff here needs some sensitivity training. As a hostel *serving alcohol there should be more awareness for the stories that travelers are sharing with one another. Seems that the staff is typically more bothered than the travelers...over topics of PTSD or being in town for the funeral of a friend. It's important to create a report with your patrons. Seems that there are some socially retarded people running this show who would rather kick you to the curb than ask you the context of your conversation with someone else....while listening from the corner of the room. A hostel hosts all kinds of people from all kinds of places. The appeal is cheaper digs & conversation with other travelers. If "brews" is part of the deal, don't be surprised when people have real things to say. Staff needs to not conversation Nazi their guests. ‍‍

David G.

Yelp
First stay this trip. Perfect setup for BND OR. There used to be a hostel on the west side of town, on Century Drive, McMenamins used to have a room with bunks, but no longer. So Bunk and Brew fills that need for a nice clean affordable room. Plus the euro style vibe of the place contributes to making many new friends. Last night I ran into an art show in the dining room, the chatted w a chap from the UK along w one of the owners in the front room. There was a 6-7 person group of guys from France shredding the backcountry w their skis as well. Close to all the hot spots in downtown Bend too.

Jacib P.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Highly suggest staying here if you want to have a good time. The staff is very helpful and nice. Especially Caro and Laura!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're the best. They deserve a raise.

Sally D.

Yelp
I don't know what kind of shenanigans negative reviewers like Rosy and Jeff caused but all I know is that this was one of the best hostels I've ever been too. I was looking for a safe experience in my travels and this was a pleasant surprise. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating... J and Lily were especially amazing for me. Every guest I had the privilege to have conversation with had their own stories of why they were there and the comraderie is undeniable. I plan to be back and bring friends as long as they don't mind a couple of old broads scarfing up the great food and colorful selection of beers & ciders. Well done...all the way around.

Jamie S.

Yelp
This place is absolutely fantastic. Not a regular hotel (so if you are expecting that stay at the Double Tree a block away). This is a cross between a ski lodge and a hostel- but with a really relaxed, cozy feel. Their are nice communal areas with a homely feel, a kitchen you can use and the staff are laid back but professional and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and the location is excellent- a five minute walk down town. If you are hiking, biking, skiing or just ok with a hostel vibe, this place is for you.

Brandon G.

Yelp
I want to start by saying that my stay here was AMAZING! I had a 3 day layover while I was in Bend during the holidays and managed to reserve a spot here. I had never been to a hostel before so I was unsure of what my experience would be like. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The owners, J and Frankie, were awesome! They showed me around town and were very accommodating. The hostel had everything you could possibly need and everyone was super friendly. I'll be planning my next trip back up to Bend soon and this is definitely where I'll be staying!

Stephanie J.

Yelp
This is a great place if you're heading up to the mountain for a weekend and want to spend less money and meet great people. It's also very possible to keep to yourself if that's desired. The house is clean and centrally located so walking to downtown is very brief. The hosts were awesome and knowledgeable about thing to do in bend and events. I almost don't want to recommend this place because I want it to be available when i return; however, I'm not that selfish.

Angela Y.

Yelp
Historic Lucas House is in close proximity to an inviting downtown Bend with a variety of restaurants & breweries. Felt safe in the house with others, as masks were mandatory when you were inside the house (COVID times). Hands down the best amenity was the sauna!! Nice surprise to get to choose a local can of beer upon check-in. Heads up it does have a hostel vibe, so if you are a light sleeper don't expect to get much sleep as sound travels.

Frank J.

Yelp
This was everything I hoped for, instantly finding a community. I had a great time meeting and socializing with my fellow guests -- it looks like they're in the process of adding even more outdoor chill space for hanging out at the house. The house is pretty well set up, with a very functional kitchen and labels everywhere to help you out. It's a historic house and obviously not a museum showpiece, but it was clean and practical. It definitely felt more like a community than a business. I only stayed one night while passing through, but I'll be back, perhaps soon. The keypad lock on my room worked when I first tried it, but not when I went to bed, so I grabbed a blanket and pillow and fell asleep on the couch. I feel silly giving a 5 star review for a hostel when I didn't actually get to sleep in the bed, but my overall experience was that good.

Emily S.

Yelp
I stayed here for the first time last summer for about 4 days with three of my friends. Our experience was so incredible that a few months later we came back with 3 more friends and stayed for a full month! The staff and management here will become not only your friends, but also like a second family. Not only is the customer service incomparable, the facility is clean, organized, well maintained, and full of activities! The staff aren't just there to make sure your stay at the hostel goes smoothly, they also offer TONS of ideas on activities to do, places to visit, and will happily join in on any game of Settlers of Catan. I love this place so much that I'm going back for yet another visit... my third time in less than a year. I guess my warning is, only visit if you're ready to absolutely fall in love with this place. If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable, fun, and clean home away from home, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Rose Y.

Yelp
Bunk & Brew has now replied to my review that I violated policies. This is the first I heard of it - I wrote them several times asking what had actually happened and heard no reply. Stay in your room, or be guilty. But you won't get to know what you are charged with. B&B could you please tell me what policy you are now saying I violated? (several details below are incorrect. I stayed two nights not a week. I had just checked out and was on my way to the exit when they approached me and asked me to talk outside. While there, I used a common area twice to engage in a conversation with other guests, once to watch some tv with other guests, and once to drink coffee with other guests. These are normal guest activities and not against policy.)

Sharon C.

Yelp
Thank you so much, Bunk and Brew! I needed an escape from Astoria, and I normally camp out when I travel because I absolutely hate hotels, so the dorms were a perfect winter getaway...not quite hotel, not quite campground. Everything was so CLEAN; the kitchen was spotless and the communal fridge was organized, and the bathrooms very clean, considering the volume of people using the only two bathrooms. The people running the hostel were super polite; in my experience, workers who also live at the hostels they work at become territorial about their space, but I didn't experience this at all. They offered great suggestions on what to do on a small budget, AND were very inclusive about going out at night, and making sure nobody felt left out. I'm an introvert and often it's hard for me to be in social situations, but the hostel has enough hidey-holes where I could listen to the activity around me and feel at home without actually involving myself in the going-ons. And, the 10 PM quiet time rule was observed strictly, at least during the week I just spent there. One of the employees also works at a bakery, so we had yummy pastries every night. I had a really good time. I would never move to Bend, but I'm happy I found a place in Bend to call home.

Michelle F.

Yelp
It was my first time to Bend, Or. I was looking to explore the area. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place, afforadable, clean and comfortable. I walked in on Christmas Night to warm welcoming faces, I received a full tour plus a check-in beer (from Silvermoon Brewing Company, right down the street)! They have a community kitchen stocked with the basics for guests, eggs, pancake batter, bread etc. I was able to make eggs just the way I like them enjoy breakfast conversations with other travelers. Other great highlights, within walking distance of downtown. They are putting in a second bathhouse with sauna this summer. Apparently a beer truck and pizza. Shout out to the awesome staff (Candace, Jacobi, Sofia, Mark and Andrew) thank you for being so hospitable and welcoming.

Alex W.

Yelp
Incredible place! Awesome and welcoming people! Andrew and Rob took us out Bouldering to this amazing spot and showed us a great time. Everyone who works here is super cool and friendly, 11/10 recommend coming here!!

Dennis Y.

Yelp
I'd give these guys 6 stars if I could. Great facility, fantastic hosts (super knowledgable about the surrounding area), great vibe from the people staying. I'd recommend booking through the site. Would totally stay again when I'm in Bend (which I will; there are only so many breweries you can hit up in a day)

Conrad D.

Yelp
Beautiful place and right across from the river ( Drake's Park) where the action is! Farmers market, free music, river fun, walks, kid and dog friendly. Can walk almost anywhere. To breweries , stores, and restaurants. We ate at the new lemon tree Resturant. Was very good.

Chad B.

Yelp
You can't get more Oregon than this! Very chill place to crash for a night or settle in and make a few friends. Not your average "youth" hotel by any measure. Also, can't beat it for a walk downtown.

Jeffrey E.

Yelp
This place sucks so much. The staff have zero knowledge of what's happening in town and even worse they have zero compassion of ones plight. It's disgusting and intolerable. If you want scatter brained and Half sentiments then please, speak to the staff. I never met a group of more inconsiderate people then coming to the bunk and brew, but what truly sucks about this place is that the owner is cool as heck. But the people who run it are awful. I had food thrown away from the fridge that was marked. They say ps4 and Xbox but what they really mean is that when you patiently wait to play oranyrhing it will get taken away but some disruptful person who works there and sells the devices. Which is ridiculous cause I'm a paying guest. They happily took my money but failed on every amenity available. Besides the showers and super late night sauna sessions. But also watch out for the New Zealand guy cause he will touch your clothes and decide to put them somewhere else then where you left them. Super frickin weird. Basically all the staff sucks soooooo much. It was a cringe to even say hi to them. This review is so painful to make but I got treated so disrespectful after my best friend and roommate passed and needed a place to stay to find a new home. Do not stay here. The food truck in the back has awesome food. But the people who run the hostel are the worst insensitive folks you could ever meet. And go figure, cause their not from Oregon.

Bobby D.

Yelp
I'm glad I stayed here. The location was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable with off street parking. Bend needs more places like this.

Heather S.

Yelp
Loved it! We had never stayed in a hostel before.. and we were super iffy about it... but I'm very glad we did!! Its an old place and honestly it felt comfortable like you were staying the night at a friend's or your mom's! They made us feel very welcomed and were always around if we needed anything. We were close to Crux and walking distance to down town bend. There are two bathrooms, one up stairs where all the rooms are and one down stairs. The bathroom was used all morning which was fine and that's why I showered early:) I'd bring in your own shampoo tho! And soap! They have some things you can purchase they have a container for money (they use the honor system) and you place the money in the container:) super friendly staff, rooms are small but defin. Will stay again when we visit bend!

Joey M.

Yelp
Bend, with the help of Bunk and Brew, provides infinite adventure. There's the allure of the imposing beauty Mount Bachelor offers year around. Smith Rock State Park being the birthplace of modern rock climbing sport you will find a community of rock climbers from every corner of the earth. After long day snowboarding indulge in one of the surrounding breweries. They only have 22... "Among cities in beer-crazy Oregon, Bend now has the most craft breweries per capita. Some locals have started calling this 'Beer City USA.' More breweries are opening soon."- Seattle Times

Hunter L.

Yelp
Can't ask for a cooler place. Super laid back. Close to everything. Fun crew of people who really make it easy for you to get the lay of the land. AND ACTUALLY AFFORDABLE!

Dwayne S.

Yelp
" Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax. " The time to relax is when you don't have time for it. " Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer. Anyway, the place was awesome! I paid $60 bucks, got a private room, 2 IPA Beers, and breakfast! And good conversation with folks I've never meet in my life! Shared housing is something new to me, but best believe, I'll be coming back!

Meredith R.

Yelp
Our family had a great experience spending two nights at Bunk and Brew. The rules of the house are very fair and clearly communicated. All the staff there and the traveling patrons we encountered were friendly and kind. The free beer at checkin is a cool plus too!!

Otis T.

Yelp
My name is Wade and I approve of this message. My wife and our 3 boys stayed here for 5 days during spring break 2019. What a great place! Although it may not be billed as a kid place, they certainly are respectful and caring for families. We have no complaints about this place. They give you a free beer when you arrive and then $2 local brewed beers while you're staying there. You won't regret staying here! We highly recommend the Bunk and Brew and if your kids are nuts and out of control, they have a rule for that.

Hannah D.

Yelp
Clean, friendly and affordable place to bunk while in Bend. Guests receive free beer upon arrival. The house is beautiful and charming, and the owners are amazing people who will show you a good time around town.

Rukind66 ..

Yelp
We had a great time at the new hostel. The historic brick Lucas House is a gem of a building close to the center of Bend. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the back gazebo, cooked in the well stocked kitchen, and slept comfortably on a great bed in a private room. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning!

David M.

Yelp
Cool place, great staff, and close to downtown. Greeted with a beer and a smile. A lot of amenities that are great for all travelers. Fun backyard hang out area with a fire pit. Had a safe, easy, great stay. Bunks are a little squeaky but that was my only gripe. Thanks for the stay! Cheers!

Bob M.

Yelp
Great people. Well equipped kitchen. A true hostel experience. The place is a work in progress. The bathroom/shower situation is a bit lacking but they are working on it.

Kelly P.

Yelp
Wonderful stay, help yourself, friendly, environment. Outstanding staff & volunteers, well trained with high standards.

Kenise A.

Yelp
Decided to pass through Bend on a car camping road trip and must say that I am super happy that I booked a spot here. Enjoyed my stay. This place fosters a great community for its guest. Was able to see the town hanging out with some pretty cool staff and guest who hang out in the lobby. Great to stay here if you are traveling solo and looking to meet people or just socialize with other human species. The facility was clean. It was nice to have laundry included in the price rather than needing coins to operate. Outdoor space is perfect with hammocks with shade, fire pit, tube rentals for the river, on site parking. Be aware that at this moment it is a dirst ground so your feet/shoes will be dusty (tip: wear socks with sandals until you get in the vehicle). Affordable and walking distance to places downtown.

Kevin M.

Yelp
Recently opened, Bunk + Brew is Bend, Oregon's jewel. Frankie and J are super friendly, to the point of welcoming me by name when I arrived. Amazing location within walking distance to Bend's nightlife and downtown area. Off street parking, and smoking area. 420 friendly. Handy dispensary across the street. Very laid back and chill. Felt as if I was hanging out at a friends house for the evening. Quiet. Large kitchen and community areas. Easy to find. Off street parking. Thank you so much Frankie and J. Catch you later!

Yelp
One of my favorite hostels EVER. The homiest of vibes and the nicest of conversations. Everyone is extremely chill and loves to help one another. It's an extremely short walk from everything downtown & the workers give great recommendations. There is a self serve breakfast in the morning with tons of options, you receive 1 free beer upon arrival, AND they're building a spa/sauna and putting in a food truck that serves beer :) we will definitely be returning once that is built!
