Let me tell you that this hostel is an experience. It really is a bunker and a museum where you can spend the night. The whole place takes you on a trip in history: the rooms are organised with retro furniture, you sleep in a sleeping bag, don't expect to have mobile connection, only the wifi in the depth of the bunker.
The breakfast was nice, the plates, cutlery and even some of the foods remind you of socialism. (Májka - liver paste, various spreads, small cake)
I had the opportunity to be guided around the bunker by Martin and as I was the only participant, he did almost the whole tour in English.
The place also hosts events, the night I stayed there was a swing dance party in the big hall. The doors of the corridor are well insulated, so the noise was not coming in.
BUT I would reccommend to pack earplugs as the air filtering system is working all night and can be a bit distracting.
There are mixed bathrooms but you can also find separate ones if you don't get lost in the maze of the bunker:) They are quite minimalist but what do you expect from a bunker? (There is only one swtting for the shower which is a bit slow to warm up but there's warm water)
If you're interested in history, I would recommend to check out this place but you might not want to spend more than a night as the novelty wears off. And don't expect luxury please!
The staff was super friendly and helpful, they are also happy to help you store your luggage after you checked out.
