Two words - Life Changing! Absolutely beautiful food made with love and quality fresh ingredients. The Chef is incredible! Equally our waitress was so gorgeous & did a fantastic job. A truly special team who certainly delivered on the lunch front! What a magical day by the beach. Thank you so much & looking forward to our next dining experience 🤍

What a place! The food is just artisticly tasty. Fish was treated with the craft of aging for 5 to 10 days, magically keeping it fresh with a very good texture. Very nice people and service. Vince the chef actually explained about the food. What else can I say? One of the best! Will bring the family here again.

This place really knows how to treat their guests like royalty. Caring service, elite food, fantastic drinks, all with the most spectacular backdrop of whales splashing around. We attended lunch on a quieter day, but I think any meal, at any time, and you’d be very pleased visiting this restaurant. I tend to save my 5 stars for well deserving locations, so without further ado… Bunkers Beach House!

This place is magical, service was impeccable from reception to the waiting staff. The food is another level, everything was freshly made and perfectly seasoned. The view...something incredible. Can't wait to be back :)

Google
A fantastic set menu for lunch. Outstanding! Fresh produce for the district, thoughtfully prepared and well made. Totally recommend as a place for a special occasion or romantic lunch by the ocean. What views. What food

Great food, great service, great wine list, great location. The set lunch exceeded our expectations and is good value for the quality and variety of dishes.

Dropped in here yesterday for a local beer (eagle bay pale ale👍) and bite to eat. What a great little restaurant right on the beach, we had a very warm welcome and lovely chat with staff. The beer was cold & excellent! as was our plate of local fish carppacio & fish finger sandwich, also awesome bowl of fries ...delicious!! Will certainly be back.

Yelp
I'm awarding Bunkers Beach Café a star for good food, and two stars for a stunning view which included a pod of dolphins! That was probably the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately the service was incredibly slow, and I feel like what we paid was a little excessive. The food wasn't bad, but I had higher expectations for that price tag.

Yelp
We went here on a stormy day, rain pelted down, but wow was it awesome to watch under cover outside. They have one of the most amazing views, right on the beach. The staff were all fantastic, couldnt do enough for us. I had the pork belly and it was fantastic, but couldve done with a salad with it, especially for how much it cost. The fried garfish and fries was also great but wouldve prefered chunky chips/hand cut instead of french fries which were a little greasy. But still i highly recommend this place to go for brekkie or lunch :)

Yelp
Nice cafe with views over the beach at bunker bay Popped in for a coffee and a bite to eat on the way home from a weekend in Dunsborough. I had an iced coffee & my boyfriend ordered the banana smoothie. Both were huge and delicious! loved the cinnamon in the smoothie, so yummy. We also shared the potato rosti with salsa, spinach & poached eggs. it was very tasty and a large enough serving for both of us to leave full! Only gripe would be the lack of atmosphere, the service was awkward & there was no music playing which left the place feeling a little quiet and weird. The prices are a bit expensive for the quality of food you get.

Yelp
Excellent views of Bunker's Beach! Wait staff were very attentive. I decided to be adventurous and try the grilled sardines over diakon, mixed greens and potatoes. Flavors were excellent though as I feared the sardines were a little bony -- but that was to be expected. Had a flourless chocolate cake for dessert which was awesome.

Yelp
Came here on advice from eagle bay brewery because it was full. Beautiful beach views and location. The staff were dreary and seemed unhappy for some reason, there was really no atmosphere which made it awkward. Looking at the menu really upset me, firstly the food, this is a cafe, cheap decor, paper menu charging $30-&$45 for a meal. This would be acceptable if the food was amazing. It wasn't. Next the drinks list, I was expecting a wide variety of wines and beers as this is not a winery or brewery. I was disappointed they only sold 3 wineries and 2 beers from the area. Light boags at $9.5 and a carona at $11.40. The wine list was just as dismal charging $10.50 for a glass of deep woods house wine that I can get for 10$ (bottle). We got the tasting plate which had (are you ready?) chorizo, split pea dip and olives and wafer crackers. What even is that? Why the fuck would someone eat pea dip with fucking chorizo! Bless the venison chorizo was good though. Why the crackers? This obviously goes with bread. Seriously not an acceptable variable and for $19.00. We got chips, all good there. But it's pretty hard to mess up chips Next we had pumpkin & pine nut pizza. $22. It was average. Nothing wrong with it, but it was small and not worth $22. Also the sides! A green leaf salad for $15? Kidding me? Go for the beach but do not eat here. What a joke, the chef must be crazy or not a chef.

Yelp
Outstanding place. Everytime we head down south we seem to end up here. It's nearly impossible to get a table for lunch on a long weekend - so book ahead. The service is always good, the food is fantastic and a good selection of wines.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our experience here. The beach was glorious ... after the shark signs were taken down a few minutes after we arrived! Ah well, it is the ocean - they live in it too! I popped into the cafe for a takeaway coffee and ended up booking a table for lunch at 12.00pm, when the kitchen opened. We swam and played until five minutes to twelve, and then walked to the restaurant and enjoyed one of the best views that I've seen in Western Australia, overlooking the bay with the sun shining on the waves. My daughter's kids menu was great - a piece of garfish with shoestring fries on the side and a small 'decoration' salad on the side. My anchovy margharita pizza was great with just enough anchovies for a salty twist to the dish without being overwhelming. I had a well-made (not bottled, thank goodness) lemon, lime and bitters. My partner's fish and chips with aioli was a great sized serve of three pieces of garfish and lots of crispy fries, with a well-deserved beer from the local range on offer. We will absolutely be back to try the desserts. Tip: Make sure you book. We got very lucky by booking on the day. I am quite sure that we got the last table!

Yelp
Just stopped in for some take away coffees - got in early but the cafe was busy already so I'd recommend making a reservation if you want brekky. My iced coffee was nice and refreshing with a dollop of icecream - ordered a muffin as well which was nice but a bit pricey at $6. They've recently extended their deck facing the beach as they needed more space and the views are pretty amazing.

Yelp
Pass up the Bunker Bay Resort and go and see Tracie and Hamish at the Bunker Beach Cafe. They are open for breakfast and lunch only and always busy in the summertime. Located 25m from the water's edge, this is one of the best places I've ever eaten at for breakfast. I mean, it doesnt get any better than this - Sitting on the beach in a relaxed tastful atmosphere, sun streaming through the open doors eating perfect poached eggs, rosti, housemade pork sausage.... I could go on. Hamish is the chef and he nails it. The thing is, I've had breakfast here for the last year maybe 20 times and it's consistantly good! I mean always! Everything. Great staff, great coffee, great cakes (Tracie makes them herself) and Hamish's killer kitchen cuisine. It's just done right. Do yourself a favour if you're down on the south west coast and get in there.

Yelp
Lovely beach side cafe. Recommend doing the beach walk up to it.

Yelp
Yummy food, good view, slow service. We came here for a late breakfast after walking around the beach for a bit. The prices are a bit steep for casual dining, but the food is definitely more sophisticated than your typical cafe fare and the quality is great.

Yelp
We popped in to have coffee on Sunday afternoon , not realising they close at 3pm. Afterwards we realised from the "frosty friendly" service that something was wrong and google helped us figure it out. Coffee was absolutely top notch though, as is the view so close to the aquamarine water. The waitress also helpfully brought water and some insect repellent spray for the member of our group being plagued by flies. At a previous visit we were lucky enough to see the bluest little blue wren flitting on the deck . We didn't order food on either occasion as the menu was of limited appeal to the members of our party, particularly some in their nineties who just wanted " a sandwich" . Not sure if this is done intentionally to deter the type of customer who might order a hamburger/ parmy, or if there is a chef showing what he can do. Some of our party love adventurous food and it is great to see a menu without a hamburger. Perhaps next time, if we aren't accompanied by people with less adventurous tastes we may order food (or if there is a safe option on the menu for them), but I would definitely be back for the coffee and view.

Yelp
One of the best locations around, great food and wines, head chef is a champion. Birthplace of the term "Why wouldn't ya!"

Yelp
Brilliant food to match the amazing setting... Lovely blends of East and West cuisine, alongside the great produce from the area! Bonus was we watched whales while having lunch!
