Bunkyard Hostel, Udaipur is an absolute gem! The rooftop here is unreal — one of the best views of Lake, perfect for sunsets, chai, and chilling after a long day. The rooms and washrooms are very clean, and the whole place has a warm, backpacker-friendly vibe, ideal for solo travellers. The staff is extremely polite, kind, and super helpful — they really make you feel at home. Location is perfect too: walking distance from major ghats, City Palace, and all the main viewpoints. Super easy to access and safe to move around. Loved the energy, the people, and the comfort. Definitely a must-stay hostel in Udaipur — truly a 10/10 experience!

Bunkyard Hostel, Udaipur is easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. I visited for a weekend with my partner, and the experience was exceptional. This is the highest rooftop café hostel in Udaipur, offering an unbelievable 360-degree panoramic view of the city, lakes, and sunset absolutely stunning and unforgettable. The vibe is energetic yet peaceful. The rooms are clean, the rooftop ambiance is perfect for relaxing, and the food tastes amazing. The staff is super supportive and friendly, making you feel at home instantly. We also enjoyed meeting other travellerseveryone was warm, social, and easy to connect with. My stay at Bunkyard Hostel Udaipur was fantastic. This hostel truly stands out because of its amazing location and unbelievable rooftop view of the lake and the old city. It’s the perfect place to relax, meet new people and enjoy Udaipur’s vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful — they gave great local recommendations and made sure everything was comfortable. Dorms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the common areas had a lively and social feel. For the price, the hostel offers excellent value and a memorable experience. I would highly recommend Bunkyard Hostel to solo travellers, backpackers and anyone looking for a clean, safe and well-located stay in Udaipur. Definitely planning to stay again on my next visit.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The place has beautiful aesthetics, the staff is warm and helpful, and the rooftop offers amazing sunrise and sunset views. The washrooms were clean and all appliances were in proper working condition. The location is perfect too — most major spots in the Old City are just a short walk away. I had an amazing stay at Bunkyard Hostel Lakeview in Udaipur! One of the best budget hostels near Lake Pichola with a truly stunning lake-view rooftop. The location is perfect—walking distance to City Palace, Bagore Ki Haveli, and the main old city attractions. The rooms and dorms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooftop café is the highlight: a great place to enjoy sunrise and sunset views, meet other travellers, or just relax with a coffee overlooking the lake. This is easily one of the best hostels in Udaipur for solo travellers and backpackers. Safe atmosphere, good vibes, and great value for money. I had the best stay of all of my Indian trip in Bunkyard. Very social hostel, beautiful 360 views of the city & the lake, cozy café & rooftop where you can chill, have good coffee, drinks and food, and socialise with other travellers. The dorms are clean and have their own private bathroom which is appreciated. The location is great, within walking distance of the city palace, ghats & old town. I was there during Diwali and the owner Francesco invested a lot of personal time making sure that everyone was feeling right at home. I extended my stay one more night than planned & would even have stayed a few more nights if I had more time ! Thanks again for a beautiful stay and see you next time :)

Hands down one of the best hostel experience I ever had! The owner of the property was super helpful and friendly and literally assisted personally with any query or need! The room are spacious and the rooftop is with one of the best views of Udaipur. Not only the stay but the food here was quite good. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

It’s a perfect rooftop for sunset in bunk yard. We had perfect time here. I came here 2nd time and this time out. Stay beds were comfortable. Food is great services are amazing. We got the Lakeview room was so comfortable activities with it was best highly recommended bunk yard hostel if you are in Udaipur. Cafe hello boho above is best for bar options
