Bunkyard

Bunkyard Hostel Udaipur is an amazing place to stay, especially for solo travellers! 🔥 The vibe here is super friendly and chill. I met many nice solo travellers and foreigners as well, and it was really easy to make new friends. The best part of this hostel is definitely the rooftop 😍✨ What a beautiful view! The rooftop atmosphere in the evening is just next level. Sitting there and enjoying the city view is something I honestly can’t forget. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful and overall experience was totally worth it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Udaipur!

The hotel offers beautiful lake-view rooms that are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with very comfortable mattresses and clean washrooms. Both the rooms and common areas were spotless throughout our stay.||One of the highlights is the huge rooftop café, which provides a stunning panoramic view of the entire city.||The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We faced a small issue with the lights, and it was resolved immediately, which really showed their prompt service and attentiveness. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

I stayed in this place for 6 nights in total and kept extending my stay. The Manager Vides really looks after you to make sure you have a good time. I came back during Holi and it was a brilliant experience! The view from the rooftop is probably the best in Udaipur! Good is very good however it is a little on the expensive side and unfortunately so is the beer, this lets it down slightly as a beer is only 100 rupees less than 1 nights stay. The service staff in the cafe don’t speak good English and this did make it difficult at times as an international traveller. The bedrooms are excellent, bunks are very solid with a good privacy curtain that fully covers the bed and a fan is included. The bathrooms are nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bunkyard. We stayed in a few different rooms & all were great - we liked the style/furnishing of the rooms (the 4th floor one having an amazing view of sunset! Everything is clean & modern. The rooftop is also great. Super peaceful & nice hostel! Staff really make it great at Bunkyard - all are friendly & kind. Special thanks to Aashish & Vaibhav who not only made our stay great but helped with all sorts of queries like train problems & coffee beans!

Thank you to Vaibhav and the whole team! You have created a rare thing - a place that somehow manages to be an oasis of calm whilst being very easy to meet people. The location is perfect for appreciating sunsets, exploring the old city and meeting other travellers. And the rooftop is brilliantly curated to allow this to happen. Particularly appreciated how much genuine joy Vaibs brings to work! Rest of the hostel is clean, comfortable and homely/stylish. Thanks guys!

The stay in this hostel was great! Met a lot of people at the rooftop. The rooftop is the highest rooftop of all hostels and you can see whole of Udaipur from there. Also the sunsets are beautifull. Vaibhav made our stay so much better. He was very interested in everyone and helped in any way he could. Also socialized during the evening at the rooftop with us :) The beds are very steady and you don't feel someone turning around for example. Only thing tall people have to be aware about is that the beds are small. I'm almost 2m and I think the beds were like 1,75m long and I felt that in the morning haha For the rest I'd really recommend this hostel!

The hostel is located at a very steep incline like many hostels over there, making it carrying luggage extremely difficult and exhausting, rooms were okayish.,bathroom lights were too dim , there is no common fan for the dorm, we booked ac dorms but they have ac timings from 9 pm to 9 am, plus we requested to clean the room and the staff got angry on us why did we ask to clean the rooms to the owner. The rooftop cafe is very overpriced which isn't expected for a hostel cafe, even normal tea costs 807, Overall not a very positive experience. Just one upside was the beds were comfortable to sleep in, the dorms were decent size, they had free filtered water at the reception.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Bunkyard! The place has a great vibe, clean rooms, and a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The service was quick and well-managed, which made my experience even better ……… The Boho Café at The Bunkyard is an amazing place to relax and enjoy the vibe. What I loved the most is their live match screening – the atmosphere becomes energetic and fun, especially when watching cricket or big games with other guests.
