I was 'served' by someone called Laz in the timber area. Probably the rudest customer service I have ever experienced in a store. I approached him to ask a question, and he just stared back at me with a really aggressive 'how dare you speak to me' look on his face. He didn't reply, so I tried again (in hindsight I should have just walked off at this point, but he was the only worker in the aile).
I then asked him if Bunnings stocked a particular size of wood I was looking for, and he dismissively threw his arm up and said 'go and look over there.' A few minutes later he came back over to where I was standing and very aggressively told me to move my shopping cart as it might get in his way (he walked over 20 metres to tell me this, and the other half of the aile was completely clear for him to walk through). He had a look on his face like he wanted to physically attack me.
I was about to then go and pick up some expensive power tools, but after this very unpleasant experience I decided to go back to my car and order them from Amazon instead.
I understand that a lot of people these days are suffering from severe mental health issues, but maybe don't give a job to someone who has to interact with the public until they are having therapy or started on medication. No hard feeling towards the bloke, but Bunnings please encourage this man to get the help that he clearly so desperately needs.
