Bunnings Cairns

Do not buy anything from bunnings thinking that a 3 year warranty that states return to point of purchase will be honoured. We purchased a vaccum from Bunnings Cairns on the 30th Dec 2024 and presented it to bunnings Cairns on the 31st of Dec 2025 only to be told without empathy that we were one day late for bunnings to honour and we must go back to the manufacturer. When asked where it states that we we told to look at the return policy. BEWARE. READ THE FINE PRINT ON EVERYTHING YOU BUY FROM BUNNINGS. Thats the first thing. Be careful purchasing online as their system is not correct. After purchasing another product and paying for it to be delivered we had to chase it up. One week later we were told that they did not have it in stock. The order was sent from Cairns to Smithfield, then to Atherton. 1 week later we were told they didn't have it. Unfortunately for us we had a very small window of time where we could complete the project and ordered in time for the delivery. Not good enough bunnings. Ohh and by the way the refunded for product only not delivery fee. Once again had to chase that up.

I gotta say the last few comments are taken bit out of context, they have been undergoing renovations/store upgrades... if these ppl was regular customers they would know this I however HAVE been enjoying all the major reductions myself taking home a number of Ryoby power tools for the cost of 1 and the paint wow 👌 got heaps way cheaper than it was priced on the shelf so its probly not their fault.... lol I'm back

Very disappointing. Untidy, some areas bordering on unsafe with spillages and rubbish. This was a Wednesday mid afternoon but so many unpacked boxes making manoeuvring around shop very difficult at times. We did see a staff wanted sign so maybe very understaffed but really Bunnings management..get your act together..shop and staff need better organisation from the top. The one star is for the cafe service and coffee.

I was amazed by the variety and amount of stuff they have and the prices are very good. I needed a nylon sack for my recycling. I got 3 together for $7-50. The staff are always helpful

Not enough floor staff to answer queries and help with purchase. No matter what time of the day you visit, have to call out and wander round trying to find staff. Bunnings come on! employ more staff, you've cornered the hardware market so give something back to customers. Thanks

Bunnings Cairns We would like to buy a dining set. It says on the tag: "go to special order for deliveries" Went to special order customer service. And they said, we need to bring the items to Trade desk. Then, we need a timber trolley. Which is unavailable since they only have less than 10. So we ended up pushing the 10 ft table and bench from isle 31 to Trade desk. From trade desk, there's one busy guy doing the customer service/delivery area. We were informed that it will take 2 weeks for delivery. So they suggested it is better to do "online". It took us almost 2 hrs trying to buy the dining set through the store. Anyone buying bulk items? Try online. You'll save time. Or better yet go to other shop accross.

One stop shopping! Andrew from the Tool department deserves special mention... Noticed the items in the trolley, actually took us and showed us a pre packaged duo... Saved $50, more usefu,l drill still 2 Ryobi batteries Very knowledgeable talking about pressure cleaners... Loved our experience , thankyou Andrew

Unsure why I keep finding things that are in stock in the system, but aren't on the shelf and get told it's, out the back on a mixed pallet. Staff say it's to hard to find the item. I keep finding I have to drive out to Smithfield store to get stock, some how Smithfield store can keep their stock in better numbers than the cairns branch 🤦
