You need to arrive earlier in the day to have access to their full selection - the later you are, the more you capped you are given things sell out quickly. The strawberry cheesecake flavour was nice, but the cream cheese flavour is strong. I’ll definitely be back to try the custard bun though! The service is quick - you’re in and you’re out. There’s no where to sit. Pricing wise, it’s a tiny bit steep. You’re looking at anywhere from £3-£5 depending on which bun you want. Worth a visit at least once though! The buns are good quality and taste great :)

Buns From Home is absolutely amazing! The custard bun is the best pastry we’ve ever had—perfectly sweet, creamy, and incredibly fresh. The variety of cinnamon rolls is impressive, with plenty of options to try. Highly recommend!

It’s not my first time trying these buns and every time when I get them I am really disappointed. The feeling in special for this weekend was great , but the bun itself was horrible , very very dry like if it’s not fresh. Cinnamon roll is the worst which I’ve ever had , no cinnamon flavour at all and also dry. It was my last time buying buns in this place.

I recently visited Buns from Home in Covent Garden, and I have to say, my experience was far from enjoyable. This tiny hole-in-the-wall bakery is definitely not worth the hype. After hearing so much buzz about it—mostly from influencers—I had high expectations, but they were completely dashed. I decided to try the tiramisu bun for £4.50, and what a mistake that was! It was sour and honestly disgusting, leaving a terrible taste in my mouth. For that price, I expected something truly delightful, but instead, I got a bun that wasn’t just unappetising but also far from filling. The shop itself is cramped, making the experience uncomfortable. You feel like you’re constantly being pushed and jostled by other customers, which is not ideal when you’re trying to enjoy a treat. The long lines are a testament to its popularity, but when you finally reach the counter, you find that stock runs out quickly. I watched as many people in front of me were disappointed when their desired items were no longer available. Overall, Buns from Home feels incredibly overpriced and overhyped. The ambiance is chaotic, and the quality of the food simply does not live up to the expectations set by social media. If you’re looking for a satisfying treat in Covent Garden, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. This place was a major letdown for me!

My favourite bakery in London! The pistachio flavour is commonly sold out by the time i get there though. The other flavours taste just as good tho! There is no space for eat in, only takeaway, which is quick.

Absolutely great fresh sweet and savory buns. We had pistachio, cinnamon, and savory with cheese and English bacon, and they were all perfect. The price is also acceptable. The only thing slightly missing is the possibility of sitting. I recommend!

Buns From Home is absolutely amazing! The custard bun is by far the best pastry we’ve ever had in our life—perfectly sweet, creamy, and so fresh. Can’t recommend it enough!

As a mini chain bakery, you have to try. I cannot get enough of this place. The buns are always fresh and slightly warm as they're serving them out constantly. I would say the cream based ones are too much for me personally but the classics and twice baked are to die for (not joking). The banana bread one is still my fav. But we tried the dulce de leche which was also very good.
