Buono Mangia

We visited PEI for a few days and came to eat at Buono Mangia. The server was super nice, and the food was great! We were served warm bread and butter to start. Both of our dishes featured house-made tagliolini (melts in your mouth). The portions were large—we had to take some home in a box for later! Please come visit—it's worth it! The server said they’ve been open for 13 years. The atmosphere is warm and classy, and the music isn't too loud, making it easy to have a conversation. If I’m ever back in PEI, I’ll definitely be coming here again! I forgot to add: we overheard the server mention that they don’t offer takeout because they don’t want to compromise on quality. That’s remarkable!

This place is a gem! The food was so good; it's Italian so there's lots of cheese and meat but the meal doesn't feel heavy. The waitress was lovely, she chatted with us for a moment after the meal and we found out the owner makes most of the food from scratch (noodles, caeser dressing, croutons, ricotta and probably so much more). This place is a must if your looking for a quality dinner without a factory mass produced feel. I went for my first time and I will definitely go again.

This is a classic Italian restaurant. Not cheap but reasonable. Elegantly decorated. The food is fantastic, one of the best pasta places in Prince Edward Island.

Very nice place, went there for a date night dinner and was very pleased. The food was terrific 9/10 i had the lasagna and it was one of the best I’ve had. The lady who served us was very friendly and kind and was clearly working very hard. The ambiance of the place was very nice as well. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a good Italian place in PEI. Prices were reasonable but a bit less than you would expect for handmade pasta and Italian food. Overall experience was a 9 out of 10.

The fresh made pasta, I have to say is the best in the city! The carbonara is amazing!!! Creamy, delicious.. we have eaten all across Italy! This was second only to a carbonara we once had in Venice!! Buono Mangia carbonara is So so good!!! A must eat in Charlottetown!

Celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary we spent in Charlottetown. We had dinner here, splitting the spinach dip, a lasagna, and chocolate tourte. Every course was so delicious, and we left feeling pleastly full, our little booth spot was quiet and cozy, and our waitress was absolutely wonderful.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful time time at Buono Mangia. They Make the pasta fresh everyday all day 2 order. This is not your typical mom and pop Italian restaurant, restaurant, it's better.

This place is phenomenal!!!! It's a small, intimate atmosphere with amazing staff. Very helpful, friendly and present. The food on the other hand is unbeatable. Homemade pasta, fresh ingredients and hot fresh rolls to to really get your mouth watering. We highly recommend the Sundae and the Apple cake off the desert menu. Both served with homemade Italian ice cream. Thanks for a great dinner, we will be back and send everyone your way.
