Extremely tasty pie, love the thin crust and the flavorful & fresh ingredients. The house salad was delicious and plentiful. The location is kind of small, there are only 3 tables for dining inside but 2 tables for outdoor dining. Parking is ok. Great & attentive service. TRY IT & I'M SURE THIS WILL BE YOUR FAV PIZZA PLACE. IT JUST BECAME MINE & MY WIFE'S.

Highly recommend Burattino Brick Oven Pizza, the service was outstanding, especially the cashier, Kerishma, she was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable in providing the necessary information regarding my request. The other staff members were friendly and enthusiastic in providing service, which was a delight to see since it was Super Bowl Sunday. Very welcoming atmosphere and pleasant service provided. My pizza was delicious, thoroughly enjoyed the crusty thin crust and all my toppings. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Pizza is amazing! Looks like it does on IG. Tastes amazing also. I was here from Vegas so i wanted to try it out. Definitely didn’t disappoint!

Wife and I spent the day in Pedro. Spotted this spot from Grannys Donuts across the street and she suggested we try it. I sorta remembered seeing IG reels by them and the pizza looked amazing. So, yeah, we go in and order a margherita pie. Get the pizza, see pic, and realize this aint right. No basil??? Tomatos??? What about the storied crust though? See pic for directions on how to “correctly” enjoy their pizza. Crust had no real flavor and had the texture of a stale saltine cracker. No wins. Crunch, Baby, Crunch???!!! Feckless, not artisanal. Wont be back.

We just tried this place for the first time and the first thing we noticed was the exceptional customer service. They made you feel like their most important customer! Then, THE PIZZA 😩🤤❤️🙌🏻 We tried the Mercedes pizza which is 3 pizzas in one and I was EXTREMELY satisfied and delightfully surprised with their signature “crunch” crust. The sauces, flavors, vegetables, spices, meats, and presentation of the pizza was so rewarding and definitely worth every bite! Thank you for treating your first time customers with the utmost warmth and professionalism that I haven’t seen in a long time! Every thing was so good! 👌

**EDIT~ 6/3/24** This place has decreased in its level of services in the last few months. Went recently and my 20-25 min wait time turned into 56 mins ( I even gave extra time because they’re usually ready after the suggested time). Then also noticed they’re no longer have an A grade but a B now, so unfortunate being that they were one of the best pizza places in the area. First thing first the customer service at the front desk was AMAZING . The pizza temperature was perfectly HOT!!! The flavors were astounding! The black garlic dip was also terrific ,I can’t wait to try it on the whole pizza as a base instead of marinara 😍. The crust had a great flavor and taste to it. I usually don’t like thin crust type of pizza ,but this pizza is definitely an exception. Certainly a delicious pizzeria if you’re looking for something fresh and flavorful.

WOW! If you are someone who loves or even just likes pepperoni pizza then you need to try the 120 pepperoni pizza with black garlic. I also highly recommend getting a side of white garlic sauce. The black garlic is an additional $3.99 and $.99 for the side of white garlic sauce. The flavors of the black garlic take the pizza to the next level. We also ordered a large 1/2 cheese, and 1/2 Margherita pizza which was on point as well. The pizzas are thin crust which we love. We will definitely be back for some more of that game changing 120 pepperoni with black garlic. Pricing is fair. There is only 3 tables inside and 2 tables outside so seating is limited. I would recommend eating there. Have it served on the pan so the pizza dough stays crunchy. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed.

The good: I love brick oven/wood fired pizza. I tried two pizzas here for a Halloween party and both were great. I also came and dined in on another occasion. I liked the thin crust. Another Yelper I met at an event told me this was his favorite pizza in town and told me I was lucky to live not too far from it! They had some outdoor seating as well. I like how they have a pizza that comes with 3 different pizza flavors in one (called Mercedes- so clever because it looks like car's symbol!). I tried their meatballs as well and those were huge and great. The bad: The indoor seating area is limited to 4-5 bench-type tables. It's more of a take-out place I'd say. The parking lot is small. The interesting: They sell t-shirts and black garlic seasoning online. They have a couple of other SoCal locations.

Excellent pie crust, sauce, and topping ratio for a delicious, crunchy, and unapologetically distinct slice of heaven in each bite. First time here with my family after seeing so many people post about Burattinos on IG. Do not regret the trip out to San Pedro for this pie at all, and we will definitely come back! We had the Meat Lovers and Mexican pies. Incredible! Service was kind, attentive, prompt, and helpful!

Ordered the famous 120 pepperoni pizza with a side of chicken wings and everything was delicious and tasty. First off the pizza wasn't heavy and the crust was toasted just right. Even after eating 3-4 slices I didn't feel as heavy as eating other pizzas. The pizza is one of the better pizzas I've eaten. And the wings complimented the pizza just right. If I could I'd order this pizza all the time!

This pizza is really cracker style crispy. Crust completely crumbles, not soft or even NY style. Flavor was just okay. Weird they only offer medium (size of a personal) or an XL pizza. Service was busy inside so it took a while for anyone to even say hi or anything when I was picking up my order. Loud and small seating inside, better to go. I like big nicks around the corner better.

Burattino is a great neighborhood pizza spot. There are a few tables inside/outside but it's pretty much a takeout place. Dinner time can get a bit busy and the wait could be 30 min+. They have a black garlic sauce that's pretty good! We typically order the Siciliana pizza and we are satisfied every time. Depending on what you decide on, they could split the pizza and do half of one and half of another. Don't forget your stamp card!

FINALLY!!! I was able to try Burattinos for the first time and it did NOT disappoint! I've been following this place on Instagram for years but never had the chance to try it. This last week I had it for the first time and was super impressed. I got the 120 pepperoni with black garlic sauce and it was amazing. Decently priced and I'd say in my top 3 for all pizza spots I've had throughout the entire globe! I'll be back!!

Everyone makes mistakes and that's not lost on me. There are some companies that will not even acknowledge the mistake and worst yet will blame the customer. Then there are companies that will send a canned i'm sorry response, please give us another try, then there is the Carlyn apology. Thank you so much for reaching out and we're very glad we gave it a second try. Definitely came through above and beyond what would be expected. The buffalo chicken pizza was our favorite and I'm glad we finally got a chance to try it. We live close by so i'm sure we'll be back again soon! Carlyn I can tell is a hard worker and really tries her best to make things right. If the owner of the establishment is reading this please give this person a raise!! Carlyn is very knowledgeable about not just the restaurant business, customer service but you also have a social media expert. Carlyn gets how business is done online and in person. Truly doing 5 jobs at once! Best!!

Service was friendly. Pizza was frickin' awesome. The 120 Pepperoni was amazing. The crust was crispy. The sauce was not too sweet. There was enough cheese. It's my perfect pepperoni pizza. It's a smallish eatery with only a few tables. It's dimly lit. You'll eat off of paper plates. Anyhow, back to the pizza. It's amazing. My kids who enjoy pizza were loving it. Bottom line: this place isn't close to where I live but I'll drive out the extra 10-20 minutes. I'll be introducing my friends to this place.

The pizza is very good. But the toppings are not plentiful for the price, and the pizza is so thin you can barely see the crust. This was not the Burrattino of the past,

What happened? So I used to come here when it was Pavich pizza and was outstanding. Then it became Burattinos and the man whom owned it was really nice and did a great job. Then I stopped eating Pizza to get my health together and then I saw online that They opened up other places and put these killer pictures on their media sites and I decided I need to get me some cheesy pepperoni goodness. I mean these pictures have beautiful looking pizzas from another world with beautiful toppings and I said I gotta go get some . I get home and all I got was a really really very mundane pizza. I mean seriously? Faulty advertising??? or maybe you just have to pay more than $30? Do you have to ask for a pizza that looks like the ones you show on your media sites? This is so far below what it was. It blows my mind. Don't stress over it you have enough people to come eat it but it won't be me. Wow I just don't get it. Did the love go to the Huntington Beach store? I mean I invited people Over to eat this and talked it up and they were like, Really? Got the black garlic to dip in it and it just made me more angry. When asked for pepper and cheese I even said just cheese and I got almost all peppers. Damn this place used to rock. Oh well. Just so sad.

Yelp asks, "Do you recommend this business?" If you dislike hot, delcious, crispy-crusted, and beautifully executed New York style pizza, I can not in good conscience recommend this place. However, in the odd chance this sounds like something you might be interested in, then the answer is an emphatic "Yes!" The service is counter style, just like Manhattan. Jusy walk right up and order that 120 pepperoni masterpiece. The IG posts and pics don't do it justice. It tastes even better than it did in my dreams. It is worth the drive down here from anywhere in Souhern California. Try the black garlic seasoning on a slice... It's got a nice umami toi it. Only thing to consider is that the dining room is tiny. There's a couple of picnic tables outside, but in a rush, there would be no place to sit. Just an advisory, other than that, it's 5 Stars.

Hard to give 5/5 when we had a bad experience the first time around.. but based on the second experience alone, it would have been 5/5 ! My family and I finally got to try the burratino experience. I was surprised that the dining area is pretty small-3 tables. However the decor and atmosphere is comfortable and the kids enjoyed the festive tree. I got to try the veggie and buffalo chicken, and both were great. We were also offered a few sauces and the burratino IPA. I really liked the IPA! We had great service from Car and the staff. I really enjoyed the pizza and the great service this time. We will definitely be coming back for some more delicious pizza!

Okay I went to the Carson location and it didn't go well. But I called the other location at S Western. And they took my order no problem. When I pulled up Mia was speaking with the owner. Dona the owner couldn't believe what happened. And totally made the situation better. I knew I loved this place for a reason... But the reviews don't lie this location is kicking a$$. Mmhmm... checked all the boxes. Ignore the parking situation. It's easy and they got you covered for free parking up to 2hrs. When we rolled in here because we have seen the Reels on IG. The pizza is as good at it looks on the Reels. The pizza smells amazing, and no need to get this pizza well done. It is fully cooked with no soggy texture. We decided on a simple pizza. So much pepperoni all over the pie. You will not have one bite with out a pepperoni. That I promise. Ample staff in the location. 1 making the dough. 1 to prepare the dough. 1 to layer the pizza, 1 cooking the pizza and slicing, and 3 in the front so there is never a line. We were in, ordered, given and had 2 slices in 15mins. And we were NOT the only costumers in here. I wish this spot was closer to DT HB. But if you live in DT like myself the drive up to Edinger is worth the deliciousness that hits ya.

The pizzas are delicious. Service is great very friendly. And the ambiance is giving very New York vibes. This is a really unique place well worth the drive if you are not a San Pedro local. I'd get the burattino trio special. It's the best of there pizzas. Great brick oven spot that smells so amazing.

My Instagram feed is littered with reels from these guys. It's always a really gooey pepperoni and sausage pizza. That changed last week. I saw what looked like a melted gob of cheese on top of cheese. Come to find out this is a new-ish pizza that they rolled out called the Cheese Lava Pie and let me tell you something- GET IT!!! This pie comes with a whole block of mozzarella melted onto their pie. Oh yeah, it comes with a stuffed crust as well. I swear, they looked like they attempted to cut it, but the cheese fused right back to its glorious self! We had to cut it when we got back and I can't even start to extoll how this thing made us roll our eyes into the back of our heads! Yes, we will be going back and quite possibly ordering a larger pie since I think we ordered a medium and it went really fast!

I found Burattino on IG and had to take the opportunity when I was out for a business trip. They did not disappoint! Our food was fantastic and the staff was just as amazing! We were happy to have the black garlic to take home to hold us over until our next visit!

I came here from West Covina for the pizza after seeing their tempting Instagram photos and videos of their pizza. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I got their classic pepperoni in a medium size. The cashier gave me sides of their fermented garlic dip and a white garlic dip I think it was. While I was waiting for my pizza, I met Emil who I guess is the owner or manager there? He was very gracious and welcoming. Already I felt like I was in good hands with the customer service there. Then the pizza came out. It was fresh. The undercarriage had a nice crisp and it was also very nicely made and cut. The sauce had a perfect tang to it, and the proportion of cheese to pepperoni to sauce to bread was just right. I devoured the whole thing in like 10 minutes. I dipped the pizza in both sauces. The fermented garlic has a dried fruit kind of taste to it. It reminds me of a plum flavor. To be honest, it's not so much my thing, but it does work with the pizza and I did enjoy trying it. But for my taste, the white garlic sauce stole the show. I normally like ranch sauce with my pizza but the white sauce was refreshing and flavorful and perfectly complemented the savory pizza. The ingredients they use are super fresh and clean. 4 out of 5 times my stomach hurts from pizza because of how heavy it can be, but Burratino's is high quality, and I felt great the next day. Great pizza. Great service. Highly recommend this place. I will be coming back.

Alright So I have seen this inundate my feed for the past year plus? It's constantly coming up and today I decided to finally try this place out since I was on my way somewhere close by Get there and was surprised it's tiny... like they have a few tables inside and a couple outside but if you are expecting to have a dine in experience this is not that place but if you do get a table to eat there just know you have to order everything ahead of time or get up and order more drinks or a sweet treat after The place was busy and it had its flows of quiet and busy with orders. Got to see the infamous pizza cutting with the crunch sound I ordered the Hawaiian but replaced the ham with pepperoni. I also got some hot wings which I didn't know was baked The pizza definitely was thin and crunchy and tasted good but I would personally like more cheese but that's me on wanting that cheese to ooze or be gooey. They have their signature black pepper garlic spice on the table to add and trust me you need that it adds a great flavor layer. They sell it for $10 (yikes) if you want the spice bottle for home use The wings I wish had been sauced after... they are alright but if it was sauced more it would be better. I like my wings crispy and sauced. Baking them doesn't give that full crunchy crisp flavor I need lol

We decided to try Burattino Brick Oven Pizza and ordered a pepperoni pizza with jalapeños, a meat lovers, and a margherita. While the pizzas themselves were solid (definitely recommend the margherita!), the experience was a bit of a letdown. The wait was long--about 30+ minutes--which definitely tested my patience. The restaurant looked a little chaotic, and maybe they were understaffed that day, but it was hard not to feel discouraged. By the time the pizzas arrived, they were good--but honestly, not sure they were 30-minutes-waiting good. Overall, the food was tasty, and I can't say it was awful, but I'm on the fence about coming back. If you've got the time and patience, it's worth a try, especially for the margherita!

BUGS IN MY SALAD! I ordered 4 pizzas and 1 Mediterranean salad. The salad was full of small bugs. So disgusting! We had ate through about 1/3 of the salad before we noticed the bugs. I called the restaurant and spoke to Sebastian (the manager) and told him the lettuce had not been washed and to pull it from their line and refund me the cost of the salad at the bare minimum. There is absolutely no excuse for this! NEVER going back to this place.

I used to love this place, not anymore. I pre-purchased $128 worth of pizza for my son's 5th birthday party and all the pizzas were overcooked and burnt. My son couldn't even eat the cheese pizza. I took one of the pizzas back after the party to show them the quality and they state they can only refund the one pizza. I took slices of the cheese pizza as my family had already threw it away, and the GM states he can only refund one pizza. This was a horrible experience and I wish I had read the other reviews before I purchased for my special event. I could have went to Costco and got better pizza for half the price!!! Disgusted with the quality and service of this place. I will never go back!! Update: the GM Carline called me to tell me she will refund two of the five pizzas even though "the burn pattern is not from their oven" WTF So she basically called me a liar and accused me of picking up the pizza at 12:30 taking it home and burning it and then taking it to my sons 1:00 birthday party across town and then requesting a refund. These people are unbelievable! Please do not buy anything from this place.

The pizza was really good, but was promised to be amazing. Like many other are saying, we saw them on Instagram and were like that is the pizza that f*cks. Just looked perfection. They do have 3 locations now. One may be better than the others, etc. Went in on a Sunday night to the PV spot, waited about 45 minutes. Staff was great. The pizza was fresh , crust cannot be beat, sauce ratio perfect, quality toppings but it was missing the cheese you see on the content they pump out for social media. A bit more cheese would have made this perfect. Totally would go back if ever in the area again.

1st time I had Burattinos I was not impressed . . . I gave them another try years later and I actually enjoyed it. They are in the top 2 best pizza spots in San Pedro ! Since giving it another try ... I've been back multiple times. They are always busy, so instead of getting mad because it takes 50mins for your pizza to be ready... say "wow, this pizza is going to be delicious if I have to wait that long!" ... because that's the truth! I love this place! We came during COVID for the first time and loved the pizza so much, we came back again currently and it's still amazing! If you're a lover of thin crust, super flavorful and well-made pizza, this is your spot. Plus you can drive a few miles and eat it by the beach

This place requires a lot of patience but the food is good. It's small with only a few tables inside and outside. I don't know if they were slow because it was Memorial Day but it took about 45 - 1 hour to get our pizza. Maybe a little warning would have been good. But once we got the pizza it was actually delicious. It was very memorable and one of the better pizzas I've had. However note that they don't provide water and only sell water bottles. Also their parking lot is interesting. It's very steep in the back. Hopefully you can get a spot and remember to bring water if you're dining in. But honestly I would just call ahead and get it to go. If I lived in the area I would go back to this local spot.

Honestly thought the pizza would be life changing but I was super underwhelmed. I got a medium half pepperoni and margherita to myself. I feel like they were too easy on the cheese. There was no cheese pull, no ooh or ahhh that I was hoping for. The crust was crispy but too much like a cracker and the tomato sauce lacked flavor.... I really liked dipping it in the black garlic sauce. But that because the pizza was all in all just bland for me. I really wanted to like it too :(

Overall, decent pizza but quality is a bit inconsistent. We've ordered 3-4x and once it was excellent while the other times it was ok or simply mediocre.. Sauce is a bit on the dry side and while we enjoyed the classic style as well as black garlic sauce, the white pizza is just terrible.

So disappointed, like everyone else I have seen their Instagram feeds and thinking I was gonna come get a crispy and cheese filled pizza. First, I'll start with the salad. It was OK. It had some weird tomato purple onion, olives, and that's it. Ok the ranch made up for it. The wings I swear are from a bag in Costco not real chicken sort of gooey chicken if that makes sense we didn't even finish them The pizza I have been following them on Instagram for almost a year ready to make the trip down to LA to try them out finally came down and ordered a half pepperoni and half jalapeño pizza Dough bite down hard and pull it to get a bite - no Not enough cheese !! They should ask you if you want extra cheese because I assumed that the pictures would be what I was getting. Wrong Save your money

Pizza was huge (large). So good, they ran out of Cesar salad or said they only had Mediterranean and house salads available so I was bummed. Luckily i was nearby but probably wouldn't come from far.

I'm a man of few words. In reality, what is left to say about pizza that hasn't been said? There is no definitive answer as to what exactly makes New York style pizza so special. It is a lot like the science of sleep or black holes or quantum mechanics. Here at Burattino's....they cracked the code! New York syle pizza must have crunch and chewiness in all the right places and should never be too doughy. New York-style pizza is large, hand-tossed thin crust. While the crust is thick and crispy at the edge, the center of the pie is thin and foldable so that the large slice can be folded up and eaten. Traditionally toppings are just sauce and cheese. Add 120 slices of pep, and Bada Bing, Bada Boom. I'm never one to besmirch another pizza. After all, pizza is still pizza. But if NY style is what you've been craving....get cho' ass down to San Pedro and enjoy one of the most popular styles of pizza around the world. XL pie with 120 slices of pep $23.

In short, Black garlic base pizza is very unique you need to try it. With a few more details, The staff were very nice, hospitable and offered fantastic service as we dined in. The pizza was fantastic, black garlic seasoning was so unique and added a fantastic umami flavor. The dough on the sides was unexpected. Not gona say could be improved but it was a bit harder to crunch but no big deal because the inside was filled with flavor. The regular pepperoni and cheese was great but if you're coming here it's because of the black garlic based one and it's a winner. So good. When you hear garlic you think smelly and overpowering but nope black garlic is umami and sweet and flavorful when mixed with cheese and pepperoni. If it was a regular pizza spot that promised NY style pizza or whatever it woulda been a 4 stars but they made no such claim and won in their category of being unique in my opinion. You should def come try this place and grub on this yummy pizza.

This pizza was worth the drive from Los Angeles to the San Pedro area. Customer service was outstanding, the restaurant was clean and spacious. I ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza. The crust was buttery and crisp. The sausage and pepperoni were packed with flavor.

Good food but they were under staffed during an evening rush. We've overhead the workers saying that ownership wanted to have more staff in the morning and less in the evening, but today it showed it should be more balanced. I ordered a pepperoni and Hawaiian pizza and that took over an hour.

My favorite is the white pizza. A little on the pricey side but it's okay for every now and again. It's a small place inside and. Minimal seating outside . They don't offer delivery. My fave is the white pizza. I love it!!

I love the pizza here but almost every single time they mess up my order and I have to wait for them to remake it.

Never had a bad experience at this place but tonight what a shame. Placed an online order in advance for a specific pick up time and still had to wait an additional 45 minutes on top of my pick up time . Burattino do better with your wait times .

Service time is +45mins to anything you order. My food was 2 medium and wings to be out by 1130 and I'm still here at 1230 waiting for it to come out . The food is good but I couldve made it at home with this service time. Hopefully they can expand the kitchen soon to get more timely service. Want to add that it's not really a staff issue but more of a processing issue. The staff accommodated the inconvenience by providing credit to my order and docking off the wings from my total charge. Which shows consideration.

Pizza was fantastic. I've seen advertisements all over IG and I've been wanting to try this place for a while. The inside is small, more of a take out kinda place but it worked out. I found myself in the area when the just opened so we definitely took the opportunity to try it. We were NOT disappointed. The pizza was massive, the 120 pepperonis were the perfect spread. No flop on the pizza (iykyk). Good crust. Very happy with our experience.

My family and I went to dine in after wanting to come for a long time. Boy were we disappointed. We were waiting for our order a long time (we were quoted 20 minutes and didnt get out order until 45 minutes later). In the mean time while we were waiting, countless of pick up orders kept having to wait for their orders for longer than quoted. I know because front house staff kept comping, pizzas, drinks for those either waiting longer than expected, as a means to make up for the extra time waiting. On occasion some of these orders had items that were no longer available (at least theres an attempt to make up for it) but aint not comp worth loss of time. That being said, we ordered wings and they were so cold in the center. The wings are large, yes but what good is it to be large if they are cold! Its not hard, if the wing is big, cook longer. The pizza was subpar, nothing special. I would not be returning.

Best pizza in the South Bay for sure. The crust is awesome, and the pepperoni is so good! The staff is friendly - I just wish they delivered.

Met up with friends for lunch! One of them had seen this place all over tik tok so we made it a point to stop in. It's a small seating space inside with 3 tables that can fit 4-5 people depending on configuration. The 3 tables can be pushed together for a larger party. Two of my friends shared the 120 Pepperoni Black Garlic Pizza and added jalapeños and sausage with a side of the white garlic sauce. The white garlic sauce has a thicker and creamy consistency - excellent for dipping your pizza in. They also added the black garlic season on top, but felt as it did not make a difference in flavor. We tried the a side of the black garlic sauce separately, and it was surprisingly sweet. Tasty, but maybe a skip if you are wanting a more savory bite. Two of us got the Cheese Lava Pie and added mushroom and jalapeños as well. It has an olive oil garlic base instead of a traditional sauce with 3 types of cheese. It was an absolutely indulgent and scrumptious piece of pizza. Wanting the thick cheesy bite of a deep dish with the crisp of a hand tossed crust? This is that perfect combination. Finally, we got two calzones. One received the "Giant size" for the and the other got the "The Beast" size. Wishing the crust could've have had more of crisp to it, but still a delicious pocket full of flavor. We got a "The Beast" to go! For $22 I don't think you can beat it! This is our second trip to this location after visiting a theme park. The pizza is so delicious and worth the drive prior to us returning to San Diego. The staff is welcoming and patient and another group of customers was kind enough to let us use a bench table for our large group. The parking ended up being free when you scan the QR code at the register. I suggest you do it so that you don't get a $60 ticket!
