Burch van Leiden is a must-visit location. The tree is impressive, and there is a 360-degree view of the city.
It's not a challenging walk up and not too steep. It's great to sit and enjoy the shade and scenery.
There are small guides that explain what you see from each corner.
The hours are incorrect as Google Maps says it was closed, but that was not the case.

This is a hidden place in Leiden, the two tall trees have big shade, you can relax under for some time on sunny days, take a round on top to get city views, it is kid friendly as well. You can easily spend 45 min to 1 hour here.

Great place in Leiden to explore some history!
The overall place is free of charge on a man made hill with great views of the city. You can take a stairway up and enter the Burcht through a remarkable gate. Within there is a huge tree and the opportunity to walk even further up to go a full circle. There is a QR displayed which brings you to an interesting 9 min. video worth to watch and listen to.

Not sure, what the opening hours actually mean as you can visit all day long.

This is an XI century circular fort that gives nice views of the city and has two beeches and an elm in the middle that cover the whole area with their beautiful canopies.
