Burebista Restaurant

This is a lovely upscale restaurant serving authentic Romanian food. Waiters are "old school" gentlemen, who made our large group feel welcome. The surprise of the evening was the live entertainment - traditional dancing. Karaoke was also offered later in the evening. The downside was that with our group, they were very sloppy keeping track of food and drink orders on our tab. We were charged for more beer than what was ordered. And, note that that they charge extra for bread. Tip: Look at your bill closely.

Very good restaurant close to the downtown. Very good and tasty Romanian food specialties. Very good service too.

Nice elegant restaurant. The food is good and they have decent prices considering the location. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Acceptable food but nice outdoor terasă

I'm really picky when it comes to food. I ordered a tripe soup and a second course. I found them both to be tasty and I had really fast service at lunchtime. Waiters were very friendly. They move a bit faster than the waiters on the old city restaurants (Lipscani area). I would recommend this place to travelers.

Nice location big a little bit too kitch. Romanian style. Very Rumanian style is also the service: rude and direct, without much care. However the food is tasty and well prepared, especially the meat dishes, which have a good quality. One of the best traditional restaurants in Bucharest.

The food is above average. The amenities and the staff well below. The waiter demanded a tip even though the service was slow. He became really pushy at the end saying that he'll be in trouble if we don't leave a big tip.

I am sorry but 45 minutes for a salad and polenta is not acceptable in my opinion. The food is ok but let's be serious when we said we were 10 persons coming over and it takes 45 minutes for 10 "Daily menus" and 10 drinks it is not really great service for the high prices.
