Burestübli Restaurant arosa

We had a family dinner and had a wonderful time. We had a booking for the wrong time but the staff were able to accommodate us, and they treated us wonderfully.

We were recommended this restaurant after looking for fondue during lunch. This restaurant offers cheese fondue as well as Raclette and other traditional Swiss/german fare. The location is not central but is a quick car drive or bus ride from the center of Arosa. Would totally recommend it. The price and food portions are very reasonable. Services was quick and the cheese fondue was great.

We go to Arosa every year and this is literally my favourite restaurant in the world! The Fondue is absolutely incredible. I am already excited about my next visit in August! 🧀

Definitely a highlight of the many meals in Arosa. Umami laden Raclette and Fondue. Pairs wonderfully with local Chardonnay and Dezaley region wine. Lovely location, excellent service. Reservations essential. This really completes your Swiss ski experience.

Don't go there!! We had a reservation, but when we arrived there they said, they don't have us on their list. We definitely reservated a spot though. After the waitress told us many times she's going to come back to us, while we were waiting for her. After 10 minutes standing there and beeing ignored (she brought people wine and food instead of speaking to us) we left. They don't deserve you as a customer. Sa. 31. Okt 2020

price doesn’t match the quality, food is nothing special

Perfect place to have traditional swiss food in the right environment. Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the ope ing hours on Google are screwed up, they open 7 days a week.

For anyone who wants to try raclette or fondu this is the place to do it. The food was absolutely amazing but the decor is equally impressive. Really, the entire place is a winter wonderland (in the winter... obviously). We parked our car and made our way to the restaurant. Some people passed us with sleds about to sled down the hill... how adorable is that? so cool. Anyway. When we entered we were greeted by a man in the very Swiss blue edelweiss shirt. The fondu comes with bread, so if you want other sides such as pickles or apples you'll have to order them. We were surrounded by beautiful and sweet little chalet decorations, and the place was very romantically lit. The meal was soooooo delicious!

It is actually open on Saturdays and Sundays. Of course it serves the best fondues and raclettes.

Burestübli is the perfect date-night restaurant in Arosa. We had fondue here on Valentine's Day a few years ago, taking a horse-drawn sleigh up to the restaurant. Very romantic! The food was excellent, and the setting, high up above the village, is magical. Go before it gets dark and get a table by the window!

Famous among the locals & Swiss guests, a Great Place for tourists. Family Restaurant with Long standing Tradition. Great Food - Swiss dishes and meat entrees - Great Service, nice Ambience. Specialties include Raclette with all the fixings (homemade) and Fondue. Easy to reach by local bus (right by end stop Prätschli) and directly accessible from Ski pist at lunchtime. Very popular, so it is best to Reserve your table for dinner. An absolute Must for me anytime I'm visiting the area.
