"The property we had rented—a converted courthouse called “Atticus,” which we found through the company Unique Home Stays—occupies an enviable position towards the top of Burford’s notoriously steep High Street."

Yelp
As a Burford myself, wanted to get a Burford Burger but missed the lunch service cut-off of 4:00. Family settled for coffee and pastries instead. Spinach/coconut cake sounds odd, but really good! Very cozy, wanted to take a nap on this rainy April Monday. Free WIFI.

Yelp
Accommodation in Burford consists of staying in ye olde hotel, or the Travelodge. So we decided on the Burford House hotel. There are only about 8 rooms here, and it is located on the high street (so parking consists of finding a space wherever you can). The hotel also serves afternoon teas, so the front room is teaming with tourists, which doubles up for breakfast in the morning. We stayed in the Sherbourne room (you can choose your room according to availability) which had a lovely 4 poster bed and roll top bath. The room is overlooking the high street, and can be noisy, when lorries drive through the high street (which they often do) the whole bed would shake - an interesting added bonus! You will notice the abundance of teddy bears dotted around the place which make for a cute welcome. This place isn't cheap but a nice place to treat yourself for a weekend away.
