Accommodation in Burford consists of staying in ye olde hotel, or the Travelodge. So we decided on the Burford House hotel. There are only about 8 rooms here, and it is located on the high street (so parking consists of finding a space wherever you can). The hotel also serves afternoon teas, so the front room is teaming with tourists, which doubles up for breakfast in the morning.
We stayed in the Sherbourne room (you can choose your room according to availability) which had a lovely 4 poster bed and roll top bath. The room is overlooking the high street, and can be noisy, when lorries drive through the high street (which they often do) the whole bed would shake - an interesting added bonus!
You will notice the abundance of teddy bears dotted around the place which make for a cute welcome. This place isn't cheap but a nice place to treat yourself for a weekend away.
