Dating back to the 12th century, this well-preserved medieval fortress offers visitors a captivating blend of historical intrigue and natural beauty. 
The castle’s strategic location provides panoramic views of the Rhine Valley and the surrounding Alpine landscape. The ascent to the castle is a pleasant 20-minute walk, rewarding visitors with breathtaking vistas and a sense of tranquility that permeates the area.
Unfortunately, the castle’s interior is not open to the public, but the grounds are freely accessible.
