Burg Hostel

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in!! Comfortable bed and pillow, and everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. They have foosball and ping pong too. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. They also provide drinkable tap water. We really enjoyed our stay here! Highly recommend it to everyone. It’s more than just a hostel - it’s a great place to stay and relax for a longer time as well ☺️

This hostel has a big positive thing: the location.Also the calmness inside, and a clean bed. The rest not so much: it’s a super old place and you can see some parts of the hostel need maintenance. My stay was not bad per se and the price is great. Just know that it’s a very humble place with old furniture etc.

I only stayed here for one night, so it was ok for me. i booked 4 beds with private bathroom but ended up with 6 beds( though only 4 ppl there) but bathroom was outside. very minimal kitchen, only some free tea but no free coffee. bed is comfortable for me. overall if only one night it’s good choice. free luggage storage before check in.

I really enjoyed this hostel. I was only here for a short while, one night, but I appreciated the self check in information so I was able to arrive late. I was the only one in the whole room, so I had the quietness to myself! My only issues would be: - I couldn’t figure out the lock mechanism for the locker, but I was alone so it was fine - The bathroom is slippery/ no holder for the shower head, so it’s difficult to shower and I was worried someone would slip if I wasn’t alone Overall I enjoyed it, and the owner replied super quick to my WhatsApp messages. Beds were comfortable, maybe a bit short because I am 196 cm! The kitchen is totally fine, lots of spices and such. I used the microwave and bought meals from lidl about 12 min away for 8 lei each 😜 Overall, highly recommend if you want to stay in the old town. To get here from the train station is only 16 min but it goes up some STEEP steps so recommend a taxi if you have issues there!

This was my very first time in Sighișoara and Burg Hostel was an excellent choice for accommodation. Central location, in the heart of the citadel. Clean, comfortable, warm room and historical atmosphere. The personnel is very polite and always there to provide us with everything is needed. I will definitely return here.

Even though we were in a hurry, the hosts were very nice and cooperative! The place itself was clean. We were on the top floor, so we also had a nice view. Quite comfortable, a lot of wooden work which I loved very much! There was a restaurant/bar downstairs and we also had dinner there. The food was good. The hostel is in a convenient place in the city so I loved that!
