Prices first and foremost, absolutely happy about the prices! Burgers starting at $7, most toppings free, some add on fees for extra bacon or an extra patty. I had the Southwest burger with avocado and a Thai chili mustard sauce and the burger was delicious! I was hungry and could have ate it in 60 seconds but wanted to savor the different tastes and flavors. My wife had the plant based burger and I tried a bite and it tasted good as well. Very good price for bottled beer under $3. The atmosphere was nice, decor on walls that gave you that back on the farm feeling while being in the city. Service was excellent from the front cashier taking our order to a waitress( or worker?) checking to make sure all was well! Overall I highly recommend this place!!! To the owners I hope your prices can remain where they are and keep up the great work! I meant to take pics of your menu and post so people see its updated. Could you post the menu here? Thanks!

Since my first visit in 2023 is been my favorite Hawaiian burger!! I can add afried egg *chef kiss* The milkshakes are yummy but I do miss the strawberry. They've changed to waffle sweet potato fries. I like the high walls on the booths.

Great burgers. Very good fries. Real milkshakes! The service staff does not have the usual millennial angst zoned out on SSRI's. They are always pleasant and helpful! You go to Burger Barn because you just simply want a real quality cheeseburger because that's what they do.

The burgers and fries were about average and nothing special. The patty wasn't very big for the price. I would not consider these great hamburgers. The staff were nice and free refills on the drinks. They also cleaned the tables after everyone.

I got the pavilion grilled chicken sandwich and a house salad. Food was spot on a delicious. Excellent sandwich. When I came in I stood there and waited to be acknowledged there was one table with people in it. A simple hi welcome or something goes a long way. Never offered dressing for my salad. I actually carry dressing with me so I was good. I will go back for sure when I'm in town

Smash burgers are all the rage right now, and BBG serves it up however you'd like. I tried the bacon cheeseburger and it arrived hot and nicely prepared. The bacon was crispy and the bun was soft and fluffy. They could have piled the toppings on higher, but next time I'll specify. The queso bacon fries were also on point. Ranch is made in house and is solid. Nice music playing in the background and a clean atmosphere makes it a pleasant quick bite spot.

The burgers were great but small.. a little pricey compared to Whataburger. The fries were great. The cashier was very helpful and knowledgeable. All in all it was great!

As always a great visit. 4th time here and the food is perfectly consistent. Black and Bleu burger with traditional wings the the Lemon pepper hot sauce, onion rings and seasoned fries.

When we pulled up and saw that Burger-Fi was no more we were sad. However, we decided to eat at the Burger Barn anyway. So glad we did! The cashier was friendly and recommended what to try. We all got something different and all three of us were happy with our choices. They had college football on the telies and the booths were comfy. Really great place for a good burger in Tally.

We decided to try out this place for dinner tonight and everything was way beyond our wildest hopes and dreams. The people were friendly, the service was faster than expected, and the food was absolutely fantastic! I did a build your own burger with blue cheese and it was the best burger I've ever had. There was blue cheese in every single bite. I am truly impressed with this place!!!!

Best burger in Tally--unlike anything I've had in a long time (the wabu). But more than that, the people are great. The manager Emily is smart, kind, and welcoming. Makes you feel like you must have walked into Cheers. And she runs a great restaurant, with a good team. -- Hope the owners know what they've got here. I've made it a regular stop

Lunch at Burger Barn Grill on 04/19/2025 just was ok. Nothing special. It reminds me of Five Guys Burger Restaurant with a closed off kitchen / prep area and with the exception of the Specialty Burger selections. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted immediately by a very friendly employee. The dining room, the fountain drink station, the restroom, and behind the counter were all very clean. I quickly placed my order, was given a number, and was directed to have a seat in the dining room and my order would be delivered to my table. I waited about 8 minutes to get my order because everything was cooked to order. Although the Specialty Burgers looked good on the video menu, I opted for the Build Your Own Burger. I ordered a double cheeseburger with two beef patties, peper jack cheese, and included the standard free topping ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions. The burger was hot, nothing special and tasted like a burger I've eaten at many other burger places. The bun was fresh, but it did not hold up to the double beef patties and the toppings. There was too much mayo and mustard on the burger resulting in a soggy bun and a sloppy burger to eat. I used a lot of napkins. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were fresh, and the burger was good, just too sloppy. The onion rings were not homemade. The onion rings were served hot but had the appearance and taste of store-bought frozen onion rings. For $4.49 plus tax for a small order, I expected fresh and better. Customer service is very good at this location. During my dining experience, I was asked by several employees "how is everything or do you need anything". Great customer awareness but not overbearing. Every customer who walked through the door was immediately greeted. Overall, I enjoyed my meal, and I will dine at Burger Barn Grill again, but next time I will probably order one of the Specialty Burgers (Hangover, Mac Daddy, Hawaiian Burger, Black and Blue, Waboo). Tasty burgers cooked to order and not done in advance. I will be back again! I ate inside and it was a comfortable atmosphere.

What a great find. We started off being welcomed by Carlos when we walked in the door. The fries were amazing. All the Berger's were uniquely delicious. Emely stop by our table to make sure all of our food was delicious. Customer service was amazing. We will be adding Capital Berger to our Tallahassee restaurant list. We are looking forward to our next visit to try more of their specialty Berger's.

Stopped in for lunch because we were in the area. I am picky about my burgers. Menu was pretty simple and I went straight for the Black and blue burger. It had all the things I like, caramelized onions, bacon, mushrooms and a garlic aïoli. I was a bit disappointed because the onions were sautéed not caramelized. They were soft but didn't have the texture and sweetness of properly caramelized onions. I love blue cheese and I was expecting crumbles but it seems to have been mixed with the aioli and the whole thing just dripped everywhere. The bun wasn't toasted and so it all became a mess very quickly. I couldn't tell if the actual burger was tasty because the sauces overwhelmed everything. Hubby got the double and said it was fine. Sides were good. I would try it again for just a normal bacon cheeseburger if someone else wanted to go but I probably wouldn't take a trip back because it was like $50 for 2 burger meals and 5 wings and I think you could find better for the same price elsewhere. It wasn't a win for me but it's an ok place. The customer service was great excellent and the food came out quickly

Didn't know what to expect & was pleasantly surprised. Expect fresh hot food, great service in a clean restaurant. This is now my preferred place in TLH to grab a burger.

Really good burgers and fries. Too much salt on burger... but if you tell them not to season, it's a good smash burger.

Went to Burger Barn for lunch. I had a craving for a burger and was excited to try this place because I loved BurgerFi, the restaurant located in the same spot earlier I ordered the black and blue burger and the onion rings. The burger was delicious. It had bacon, caramelized, onions, blue cheese, mushrooms, a garlic aïoli, lettuce, and tomato. It was a sizable sandwich that was sloppy in a good way. The onion rings were tasty as well. My friend got the burger with the pineapple and Sriracha and she liked it. The only miss for me was the bacon and cheese fries, but my friend seemed to enjoy them more than I did. The customer service was A1 as well. They answered all of our questions and just gave a positive vibe throughout the place. I will definitely go back to try other burgers!

Fantastic burger and excellent sweet potato fries. The beef was perfectly seasoned and you can tell it's hand pattied. I had a Black & Blue and subbed the blue cheese for pepper jack. My kid had a mac & cheese burger. Nice dining room and service was friendly and fast. Not your run of the mill burger place. the fresh and high quality ingredients really sing here. Pepsi products are offered, as well as beer and milkshakes. We will be back often!

My wife pulled this place off YELP. GREAT CHOICE.. Being from California, spoiled by In-N-Out and the "HABIT" this does Florida justice. A little bit expensive $10.50 for a cheeseburger but really good and juicy, comes with the works. Fries also good a little salty.

My daughter and I went here for lunch based on the great Yelp reviews. When we walked in the place was completely empty, and it was near lunchtime. We were concerned at that point. The young man at the counter was very kind and helped us decide on their popular burgers. I ordered the Hangover and my daughter ordered the Waboo. We shared a large fry. When we received our orders we were quite impressed. They were nice and tall with plenty of salad and a good size burger. I cut it in half to make it easier to eat. The burger was juicy, not dry, and tasted delicious. We also liked the seasoning on the fries. Overall our experience was fantastic. My only small complaint was while the bun was toasted, it was cold. They may want to try heating up the bun a bit more right before serving.

Burger Barn and Grill opened on June 27 in the Miracle Plaza in the same shopping center as Whole Foods on Thomasville Road. We arrived on Friday evening before 6 pm. This is a fast casual environment where you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The restaurant interior has been remodeled from the former Burger Fi establishment. The theming is modern farmhouse with wooden booths and tables, and the rural decor is minimal. We were promptly greeted. Burger Barn and Grill offers 7 specific burger combinations, but fear not, they also offer build your own burger, cheeseburger, and beyond burger. They offer many toppings to choose from so you can customize it to your liking. They also offer a chicken sandwich, wings, kids meals, a couple of salads, and milkshakes. Side items include fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings and mac & cheese. There is a self-serve drink station. Our food arrived in maybe five minutes ! The mac and cheese was hot and delicious! The burgers are large, meaty, and filling. The fries were seasoned well, piping hot and crispy! Dylan, the director of operations came to our table and chatted about the restaurant concept. They are a family-owned restaurant. They have two locations in Jacksonville and Tallahassee marks its third location. We will return !

Honestly, the best burger joint in TLH! Everything was fast and fresh...With the awesome customer service from Naomi, she recommended the Southwest burger. This burger was perfect everything about it sounded delicious, and it did exactly that. VERY satisfied with burger barn! -highly recommend

Stopped by here for lunch and was not disappointed! Can't remember the last time I've had a burger THIS good! The patty was grilled to perfection-- super juicy and seasoned just right. I feel like a lot of places couldn't care less and tend to overcook the patty leaving it dry and tasteless. A little sad that it's so far away from home but glad I was able to experience such goodness. The staff and cook were also very friendly and attentive! Overall service here is amazing-- Food came out quick! I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

This was my first time at the restaurant and the young man at the counter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The service was great as well. I had the black-and-blue burger and the bacon cheese fries. They were delicious. I will definitely return to try some other things on the menu. It was a very clean restaurant and the décor was fun and appropriate.

Excellent burgers and service! Clean and simple layout. Wish they had Coke products instead of Pepsi but they have sweet tea. You can build your own burger with multiple options as toppings, and it's cooked to your liking (I like mine medium) instead well done like "Some Guys."

Was craving a burger and fries. Saw a picture on FB. Ordered a cheeseburger loaded with fries. It was the best burger I've had in some time. Highly Recommend A+++ .

Yes I've been here last year but I'm cutting back on red meat. I do rarely order a burger but next time I'll return to Burger Barn for one. No table service but it has good ambiance.

Super nice staff, quick turn around on food and amazing flavor. Seasoned crunchy bacon cheese fries hit just right. Black and blue burger with the aioli did not disappoint. Reasonable prices for a well above average burger joint. Definitely a burger favorite for us from now on.

The burgers here hit the spot. The bacon cheese fries were so delicious. And the Mac and cheese was pretty good. I'm definitely coming back to try different burgers on the menu.

These burgers are somewhat deceptive, because they look like the right kind. They look great. I had read reviews that the patties were kind of dry but gambled in case those were exceptions. They weren't. I got a normal burger, just a cheeseburger, not one of the themed ones, and the patties were not the star as they should have been. They were kind of dry, as feared. And also not much flavor. They weren't seasoned well and didn't have much char. The bacon was tough like it had sat out. The onion rings were fine. The wait after ordering was longer than expected. Staff was good on my visit.

Burger Barn has just recently opened in Tallahassee and we knew we had to give it a try! Our party of 8 ordered and our got our food within about 10 minutes. Everything was very good! Two thumbs up for the Southwest, Hangover, Mac Daddy, and Black and Blue burgers. The fries and milkshakes were also delish. The employees were extremely friendly and we had a couple different staff come over to the table to check in and chat. One (I think the manager/owner) was super nice and brought us cookie dough samples to try after we talked about our love of dessert. The food was all at a very reasonable price point. We will be retuning!

Neat, clean, pleasant employees. Burgers were HEAVILY salted., too well done, and a little dry. Sweet potato fries were ok but kinda limp. I should remember to say no salt and less well done would have helped.

Went to burger barn at noon. The place wasn't crowded and we were greeted promptly. The employees were nice and very friendly. They walked around to make sure everything was ok. The front of the house ran very smoothly. My onion rings were excellent so I was pleased. I asked for Mayo and bbq sauce on my burger. Both were so very skimpy and I wanted to ask for more but didn't want to bother the nice people in the front so I used the onion ring sauce. The burger had a good flavor.I will go back again and ask for extra sauces on my burgers.

A very decent burger spot in Tallahassee! We enjoyed our food a lot, and the service was very efficient. As soon as we got our drinks, we knew we were in for a good meal. Their sweet tea is some of the best! Besides the sweet tea, the burgers were the star of the meal (which should be expected). My husband and I each got one of the specialty burgers and enjoyed them a lot. The bacon on the burgers was particularly good. One minor criticism is that the burger patties were pretty basic, and I found it to be more on the dry side. However, that was not noticeable with all the delicious sauces and toppings, so I highly recommend you don't get your burger plain. The sweet potatoes, while good, were lacking flavor and would have been improved with some seasoning or sauce. All in all, it was an enjoyable dining experience, and I think Burger Barn is a great addition to midtown Tallahassee. Hope to return soon and sample more of their menu offerings.
