Burger Bob's

Came across this place by accident; but will definitely keep coming back! The food was great, wings were well cooked and plentiful! Brittney kept the drinks flowing and the vibes going! She was incredible!

My waitress Brittney warmly welcomed me and promptly took my food order. I had a Cowboy Bob with an egg. Awesome! The fries were prepared as well as the burger. I finished off my meal with a 🍓 strawberry shake. Made with Wilcoxson (LIVINGSTON MT) vanilla ice cream, milk and real strawberries... just the kind of meal I was looking for and Brittney just made the whole experience even better with some light converaat.

Okay experience, but wouldn't go out of my way to go back. Service was pretty poor. I'm not sure if it was one girl on staff at the time, but everything took much longer than necessary. Nice atmosphere, food was alright - but nothing to rave about. You're better off grabbing a seat at the bar for any type of service.

Ok, never base your choice of 1x review, and everyone has a bad day, maybe I caught them on theirs today. The waitress (in her defense was the only one working our side of the restaurant) didn't even get our drink orders correct, water's and soda, nor timely. It took 53 minutes to get out food, I'm pretty sure it sat in the ready window for awhile. The sandwiches and fries were all cold, like not warm, cold. The atmosphere in there is pretty cool and I think it could be a neat place. We are just not going to be repeat customers.

Perfectly cooked salmon. I was shook by how delicious and perfectly cooked the grilled salmon was. When I asked the server what the best meals were she said the Original Bob (burger) and Bob’s Grilled Salmon. We got both and it did not disappoint on either dish! The burger was juicy and seasoned just right to complement the fresh beef, all on a delicious soft bun with crispy fries on the side. I would not have expected to get a salmon dinner when I walked into a burger joint and I could not have been more wrong. The salmon was cooked absolutely perfectly, and seasoned and sauced perfectly to complement the fish and not overpower it in any way. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture until I was halfway through my meal! The atmosphere was fun and the staff were so fun and friendly, and prices were more than reasonable. We will be coming back whenever we visit town!

Food was tasty but the bar doesn’t really seem that interested in the food part. Only one person working there so impossible for them to tend bar and wait tables. Server seemed unhappy she was having to serve food. Milkshakes were good however very small and the promised steel blender with the over flow never arrived. Wouldn’t go back

One server for our entire side, bar with 10+ people and 8 tables with 4-6 people at each. Waited more than 50 minutes after ordering to receive cold burgers and cold fries. The table next to us received their food and had to ask again for their drinks. Very disappointed in this place. Perhaps more servers would help, especially ones that are attentive.

Burger Bob's has the BEST onion rings! Those with a burger & an "adult milkshake" are filling! The ambience is very "old-school"; nothing fancy here--but watching people stroll through downtown while enjoying your food is fun, too!

Another Bozeman mainstay ruined. It used to be a great local place to get a burger. It's now a poorly conceived "saloon". Cold stale waffle fries and indifferent waitstaff. I won't be returning.

Good lunch specials! Redesigned the dining room. An okay burger if you're downtown. But the staff is always nice.

This Bozeman gem has it all. A simple vibe with fun servers and great food. I am a bit if a milk shake guru and HANDS DOWN Burger Bobs are THE BEDT. Served with a full glass and then almost a full mixing metal container (like the old days) SO GOOD!!!!! Right on the corner of main and Wilson next to their other family place The Cannery. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Great college joint with tasty burgers. They really make Montana beef the star of the show. Burger was extremely juicy and service was outstanding as well!!!

Great prices, quick service, delicious food. What more can you ask for? Bob's saved the day twice for exhausted hikers during our short trip to Bozeman. Everyone enjoyed their meals! This will definitely be a stop next time I'm in Montana!

Food was cold. I hate being served cold food. Ugh. It is very loud but that was not too bothersome. It is a casual place. Our server was decent. It was very busy. However just no excuse for cold food.

Sad to see another Bozeman classic cave to the trendy and touristy. Loved this place since they opened, and visited tonight for our consistently good burger and beer. Found it changed to a cowboy bar!? Not family friendly, prices high for what you get, service was so so. Sad to see a Bozeman classic ruined. Time for us to find a new burger place.

The dining area was hoping and it took an hour to get our food. Wouldn't have been an issue if our server checked-in with us and kept our drinks filled, but alas. The chicken sandwich was good yet the burger was burnt.

It had been a few years since we last ate here and wanted to give it a try again. Our server was friendly and the atmosphere was cool with the sports memorabilia. We got the pickle fries as an appetizer, which tasted great. I got the cowboy burger and would say it was overall a decent burger. The toppings were fresh and the bun was good. The meat was a little lack luster. Nothing I would go out of my way for, but wasn't bad.

Great! It's a Burger place, I don't know what all these negative reviewers expect. Go somewhere else for upscale atmosphere, but this is the right place for a great burger. It's right on Main St., in the heart of downtown, and it's priced accordingly.

We got two overcooked burgers with nothing on them and some limp French fries to go. We got to go because the flies and uncleaned tables and bar . Four years ago this was go to. Now it's off the list

When you walk in no one greets you to tell you that you can seat yourself. Servers look uninterested and not personable. Food is just ok, nothing special about it. Place doesn't look clean either.

We've been coming to BB for years but after last night it may be the last time. Instead of the family atmosphere it has had in the past it has redecorated into a bar. With a huge bar replacing seating, it has limited the number of tables for families. With the change there has been a deterioration of service. Yes I know, help is hard to find. But have staffing that can actually clear a table, fill the catsup/mustard container, clean them off and most importantly listen to the orders and know what's on the order. Times change but good service makes or breaks a business. Donna

If a restaurant could be given less than one star this would be It - overprice average at best food. Loud obnoxious music. I ended getting our food to-go just to get out of this establishment.

absolutely the shittiest place to go burgers are overpriced and that tall brunette bartender is the rudest bar I've ever met! The cooks don't use gloves at all and the slowest service I've ever had! Don't waste your time!

In town for the Gold Rush football game and this was the 1st food stop my bobcat player brought us to. I loved seeing all the support for MSU GoCatSGo!! We ordered buffalo, honey mango, & garlic parmesan wings, onion rings & cheesy tater tots. it was bomb!!! Wings were huge, flavor on point & juicy! onion rings were delicious. staff is so friendly its great place to eat have a beer & soak up the downtown vibe. we need a great wings & burger spot like this out in the bay area!!' we will be back!!

I've been to this place a few times, and it never disappoints. It has a nice, chill sports bar feeling and is really enjoyable. The food there is good, on the better side of bar food. Don't expect it to be fine dining though. The waiters when I have gone are nice and don't show any attitude. Great place, good for quick, casual meals.

I have been here several times in the last months. the food is passable, however, the service has been consistently rude, and disrespectful. wait times for waters and menus have been past 45 minutes multiple times, wait staff has been rude, and we have been told they are no longer serving two hours before they're posted closing time. save yourself the pain for the good food, theres better spots minutes away.

I have no clue what William S. is on about. This is a classic Bozeman fixture that does not put up any facade about what it is. It is a semi-classy eating establishment and that's all it claims to be! Our waitress was kind and attentive. Our food was exactly what we ordered and expected (not raw at all). There is a sign that states that the red neon lights may make the meat appear more rare than it is, perhaps that was the cause of some other experiences, because we did not have such a time. Great place for a casual lunch in DT BZN, much more fair prices than most other dining establishments nearby.

The service was good and fast. The young lady was quick and attentive, she was very friendly and laughed at our silly jokes. I loved that your bar staff knew how to make a "Red Beer." The food was tasty and I like that the menu is limited.. grilled cheese with pepper Jack was so yummy and my bread was not greasy! The atmosphere is light and I love the high top tables. I highly recommend this place.

My little ones looooved their burgers here. My husband and I did as well. The food was wonderful but our waitress. Stellar! Seriously wish I remembered her name. I'm horrible with names! She was blonde and a bit younger than myself. Ha! Not telling though. Lol. But I digress. My little one spilled her shake, she's seriously so klutzy. The wonderful woman made my daughter feel like everything was okay and that she didn't need to be embarrassed. It was so nice to have that little nudge of someone else besides her parents saying it's okay. Everything from the time we walked in to the time we walked out was 5 stars!

We stopped in for a late lunch and the food was fantastic! Servers were very nice and quick to bring us stuff and help! Such a cool little burger joint! It was relaxing and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

A friggin 'Check Out Fee'! Bottom feeders. Many other burger joints around town with easier parking, way better burgers and not pressed against strangers during a pandemic.

Great divey spot in the heart of downtown Bozeman. Excellent beer selection and a nice unexpected twist on typical bar food, like the PB&J boneless wings. Yum! There were quite a few specials and prices were reasonable. It's also a Pats bar and they're pretty serious about it! #patsnation

Wow! Really!?! Really. Which came first, Bob's Burgers, the cartoon, or Burger Bobs? I think Gene is still sitting at the counter and I half expect to see someone wearing rabbit ears to meander by..... ....but seriously.... Great burgers. Great prices. ...And... if the food or the service let you down, please, don't tell anyone..... or so their sign says.... I'm telling, so it must have been pretty good.

We stopped in again for burgers. The entire family was jonesing for cheeseburgers but it wasn't as great as the last time. I also realized why my salad was off. The last two times that I ordered blue cheese dressing it was mayonnaise! I didn't eat it the first time. This time I caught it before eating my salad. Always check your dressing before putting it on your salad. The server was pleasant and attentive.

Enjoyed the older Bozeman building. The small burger was exactly right for lunch with onion rings. Hubby enjoed the fried chicken salad. Great tap beer choices!

The service and food is good. They accidentally gave me the wrong drink and gave me the correct one -- very delicious food. The feeling of this restaurant is very good and I like the decorations.

Why I'm giving a 2 star review, upon entering, we weren't sure if we just sat down or waited to be seated as there was no signage to let us know, but we eventually grabbed a table. The first table we sat at was dirty, so we moved to a different table which then was super wobbly and eventually found a clean level table. The service was subpar which was surprising because there was only 3 other tables that had patrons. On the establishment's website going through Yelp, it shows 1/2 price appetizers on Thursdays, which I did show the server the website, which did show the Cannery and Burger Bob's and told us she would check on that (never did). Well when the check comes out, the server tells us that the 1/2 price appetizers did not apply to Burger Bob's, but did apply to the Cannery. If looking for subpar service, cleanliness, and food. This is your place.

Good classic burger and fries. Prices were a little high for the amount of food. We got there early enough before the lunch crowd so food came out quicker then the lunch crowd. I realize now why the have the faster menu options.

Musccow mule huckleberry was a soothing drink. Are food was to die for. Boneless chili wings were great. Bob burger was soo good. CoD was the best. Service was great and fast. Our second trip we just had milk shakes no way you could eat anything else

This intimate diner is right in the thick of things. Go here before Main Street Bozeman becomes unaffordable and over touristed. There's a special lunch deal. The service is snappy and the food delicious. Go here before they get kicked out by greedy landlords like their neighboring record store.

We dined there after having been told that this place was an outstanding restaurant with a great burger. Ordered three burgers for the family and none of them were seasoned at all, just straight cooked beef. Not the best tasting Burger, however, it filled us up. It'll be a long time before we go back.

Just what I was looking for in a local burger joint while traveling on business. Skin-on fries and a locally produced bun that you dress yourself when it arrives. Mine came with cheese, bacon and a fried egg on top. I can't remember if I used 3 or 4 napkins, but that tree did not die in vane. If you like coleslaw, get some on the side, it pairs well with the burgers.

I wanted to like this place. Had to wait awhile for menus and a long wait for food and waters when it wasn't very busy. My whole table had raw burgers as well. They said the burgers came medium but was practically raw. We asked for another burger well done and it didn't come for another 45 mins.

We went to burger bobs with a large group of around 10 people to have a family dinner. Rather than politely telling us that they prefer only serving tables of 6, they let us all sit together. We were waited on by a nice waitress who told us it was her first day. Our burgers came out one at a time with about 5 minutes in between each person receiving food. One burger was brought out that was not on our ticket. Two people did not receive food. When we told the waitress that they had not received their burgers, she re-wrote down what they ordered and went to get her supervisor. The supervisor was incredible rude. She told us they had brought everything out on our tickets and that it was our fault for sending back the (wrong) burger that they had brought us earlier. We again waited for our last two members to receive their food. Another supervisor brought out their burgers, did not even apologize for the wrong order or the delay, and when our group member thanked her, she said "yep" and walked away. It took them an additional 20 minutes to cash our check. Our initial waitress was on her phone at the bar while the second server we had was handling our check. We left a 10% tip, which was honestly more than they deserved and they FOLLOWED US OUT OF THE RESTAURANT and told us that we "personally financially affected our initial waitress by leaving a poor tip" and that she had a hard day, so we should feel bad for not leaving a better tip. She also told us that our service was poor because of our group size even though if we had been told, we would have happily split into two groups with no conflict. We were at burger bobs for 2 hours and none of us will be returning.

Passing through Bozeman my buddy and I stopped in here for a burger and a beer. I got the hot spicy burger and my buddy got the heart attack burger. The beef was so fresh and delicious. We both gobbled down our burgers and washed them down with not 1 but 2 beers each. The waitresses were as helpful as they were beautiful. This was a good choice that jumped out at me from across the road. I definitely recommend this spot.

We were checking out Main Street before we caught our flight home. We stopped in for lunch and what a great place! Delicious burgers!! The staff made you feel right at home and there were no issues following Covid protocol. The burgers are the real deal! Excellent presentation, juicy, fantastic flavor, amazingly fresh toppings, loved the condiment selection. You could have fountain drinks and who couldn't resist an order of tater tots!!! Bobs is a must and we will definitely go back if in the area again.
